Hiro looked at the wound and nodded as he continued to apply dressings to it.
"If I could I would leave them here and bring the healer but we are running out of time. Hiro could feel something was wrong with Kaori.
It was a tough decision but he had to trust the strangers for now. "All right...Everyone stay here and watch over your comrade. I will be back shortly with Kaori and we can go to the medic."
Before anyone could respond he was already outside and moving toward Kaori.
Daniel moved out of the forest and looked up at the moon. It was full and seemed far to large to be real.
"I should report to the othes and warn them about what I found. Hopefully its not to late." Daniel said as he made hsi way back toward the others.

Kaori continued to sing and use the kitsune spirits about her as a beacon to alert her powers were at their lowest. She was nearing sacrificial status. I doubt the ceremony called for a priestess to sacrifice themselves for the ceremony. She hoped against this as she looked up towards the moon then just prayed before going unconscious again holding her sheathed blade.

Hiro came in and saw Kaori unconscious. His instincts were right as he checked her breathing and found it to slow for his taste.
"Blasted woman...What is wrong with any of you. Do any females in this village listen to reason?" Hiro said as he picked Kaori's limp body in his arms. It was good that they were heading to the healer after this.

Kaori’s blade would glow for a second after she was picked up then stop. The kitsune spirits floating about Kaori would return to her so that she did not use any more power while only the remaining kitsunes with Ayaka and Luna were unaccounted for. She had to maintain those kitsune even with her current strength as she made a face of pain as she did this. Her eyes would open to se Hiro carrying her causing her to speak his name. “Hiro…why are you here?” She didn’t know his purpose of carrying her as she knew she couldn’t stand up on her own at all.

Alyssa said nothing, only staring down at her brother, wondering what he was thinking at the moment. She sniffled a little, finally aware that she was crying.
Lucian opened his eyes again and saw a little more clearly. He saw Athrun and Alyssa with him. "Guys...where's....Raina?"

Daniel appeared at the shrine slightly before Hiro did.
"I did some quick investigating and I saw some knives haphazardly buried in the forest. I have a bad feeling. Daniel said as he saw the victims. "Hmm yes a wound this big might have been made by the knives. Did anyone see the perps?"
"Because you are as stubborn as a mule sometimes and I knew you would keep at it even though I told you not to over do it. Something has gone wrong and at least one person is dead and anotehr is injured. I am taking the injured one one and you to the healer." Hiro said as he entered the shrine to find Daniel examining hte corpse.
"Who are you and what do you think you are doing?" Hiro said defensively to Daniel.
"A pleasure to meet you. I am simply a paranormal investigator but some rather ugly things seem to have happened tonight I see." Daniel said calmly.

"Thank you," Ayaka said taking Luna's hand. "As do I, but if we fall into the water that should show that we were here, right? I don't think we have been gone too long." She smiled weakly back at Luna. "So shall we?"
Athrun rose to his knees. He leaned over Lucian, "She's here, but she is not doing well." Athrun said softly. "How are you feeling Lucian?" Athrun asked, "How can I help you? Did you see who these people were?"

Luna smirked. "We shall." she smilied as she took Ayaka hand and fell back, pulling her into the water with her, laughing slightly.
Some of the town people heard the noise and came running. "Lady Ayaka, lady Luna, what happened?"
"Sorry. We fell in the water when we were doing the cotton drifting." Luna smilied.

“They have to return safely…otherwise the kitsune spirits might not return…I might yet die.” Kaori was honest as she looked at Hiro. She knew she had over-extended her powers and now the kitsunes were taking over now. They had begun taking a mind of their own as she laid in Hiro’s arms.

Hiro sighed. He controlled the feeling of being lost and angry. He remembered the warnings of his parents and looked for his inner calm to ready himself for further actions. He lost his security network due to the angry spirits and a gathering of strangers have gathered in his town. On top of that is emotional little sister and her friend have gone missing as did several sacrificial daggers.
"We need to get to the healers house. It is not more then 5 minutes walk from here probably. Everyone that can carry the injured carefully and follow me." Hiro said calmly Kaori being a friend of the family he wanted to rush out and take care of the rogue kitsune but he could not leeave the strangers alone. At least with the healer they might have a small amount of protection so Hiro could find his sister and hopefully save Kaori.

Ayaka splashed to the bank, climbing up onto the shore back where she had before falling in. "Luna leaned a little too far over the water. She grabbed onto me when she fell." Ayaka explained. Ayaka noticed the presence of the spirits. "Go away." she hissed at them. "Lay to rest, leave your master to her remaining energies."

The kitsune spirits that had gone rogue found Ayaka and Luna. They found them safe and sound from this they would disperse as if never summoned. Kaori would feel the change in her energy. It was no longer being siphoned away, but she was still in grave danger as they had stolen almost all of her life away as she was gasping for every ounce of air she could. Her eyes were closed as she laid in Hiro’s arms. The kitsune spirits that had gone rogue no longer hunted for them. “They…were found.”

"No...but the last person I saw besides Raina was..." He paused. "I think it was...Luna? The girl I saw you with earlier..." He moaned slightly. "Am I hurt bad?"
Alyssa squealed with happiness and hugged her brother.

Some of the villagers laughed as they helped them out. "That is unlike you Lady Luna. Someone as gracefull as you fell into the water."
Luna puffed out her cheeks in frustration. "Not my fault the ditch is like that." she mummbled.
The villagers brought towels for them and helped the back to the vestival.

Athrun smiled, "Your wounds would be bad, or not, it all depends upon what was hit. You received a dagger wound to your side. But it looks like you will be fine." He assured him, "Just be strong." Athrun couldn't believe is....Luna was one of the killers. The evidence was before him, it had to be fact.
Ayaka laughed, she accepted a towel and began to dry off. Soon she was back joining the festival. That was easy enough, she thought with a shrug of her shoulders. But she had the feeling the worst was yet to come.
