((Ky and Xeion are currently wrapped up in their own affairs, so I guess it's me, then. Besides, Jan was trying to move on inside from the room, so it makes sense since you specified the person closest to an Arrancar entering from deeper in Las Noches.))
Responding to the sudden attack, Jan used his right hand to block the X-slash with his naginata. Immediately afterward, he swung the naginata upwards and over his head to push away the arm blades, hopefully knocking the offending attacker off-balance. At the same time, he thrust his left arm forward and aimed his wakisashi at the Arrancar's torso, firing a decent photon beam.
With plenty of time to charge while he had been sitting, Jan was able to execute his defense, counter, and attack while remaining on the ground. "Some punk Arrancar thinks he can attack someone like this? Time to show him his place..."

((Well I don't think that Sin is so unconcerned with maintaining his dignity that he would stoop to attacking a person on the ground... and given that I've already fought you (though not all the way through) I was aiming for someone new. But what's done is done, and I suppose someone has to take you on. We're all on orders here to make non-arrancars suffer. Let's just hope that I can actually live up to that command.))
Sin grunted as his arms were flung upward above his head, but he did not falter and recovered quickly. With no time to block the incoming blast with any motion from his arms, he simply focused his energies on the wings floating behind his back. The top two turned inward quickly, almost resting on Sin's shoulders as they fired off a two-pronged sapphire cero blast that met together to form one beam. The charged cero met head-on with the incoming blast and nullified it quickly.
Feeling shamed by the fact that his now-opponent was still sitting, Sin decided to take it upon himself to get him on his feet. Bringing his arms together, he let the wings on his back sparkle and jolt with spirit energy before he flung his limbs outward, momentarily floating. With that motion came a burst of energy, almost like an invisible wall but with sting behind it. The blast would push everything within its radius (which currently consisted of Jan) back, at the very least pushing the man away if not knocking him over and making him return to his feet. Shifting back into a defensive stance, Sin brought his arms in front of him crossed over, the bladed edges facing out as he crouched low to the ground. "....."

Xeion noticed that Yamata No Orochi's heads changed direction because of the Dragon Slayer lances and smiled because of this. However, that smile didn't last long when one of its heads snapped towards Rakey-san, Kat-chan, and Rin-chan and fired off an even powerful laser than before. Although the laser was slow compared the usual speed of the previous lasers Yamata No Orochi fired, this one was exceptionally powerful. Xeion, worrying about the welfare of his comrades, was about to throw Yata No Kagami in front of the laser, but hesitated at the last moment as a realization quickly entered his head. "No, if I use this, then I'll be playing into Ky's plan. This is what he wanted. If I fall into it, he'll use it again and again. I need something that would protect them for the entire duration of the battle; something powerful."
"Then use me," a voice called out in his head.
"Huh? Who are you?" asked Xeion.
"I am the Magatama of Earth, the Cauldron. I can give protection to those whom you love. Call upon my name and I shall protect with the power of the heavenly fortress itself!" replied the voice.
"All right, tell me what I need to do in order to summon you."
Just stopping before Xeion let the Yata No Kagami fly, Xeion spun around once in a circular motion in order to channel the momentum created when he was about to throw the shield so as to not let go of the Yata No Kagami. After doing this, Xeion placed his right hand forward and allowed the voice in his mind to instruct him about how to summon his power. As soon as Xeion opened his mouth, he started chanting.
"Trembling earth that buries malice, grant me your aid to protect those dear to me. Rise up, take form, be as strong as the Imperial walls and give refuge to those who seek it! I summon thee, the Shrine of Protection, Izumo Taisha!"
As soon as Xeion finished his chant, the Magatama of Earth behind his shattered and scattered itself into the wind. The ground around the three women rose up then rose down as fast as it came. When it rose down, it revealed that the three were now inside a giant shrine -- the Izumo Taisha -- a shrine both beautiful and strong enough to withstand almost any attack. When the giant laser from the Yamata No Orochi came close to hitting the three, a protective barrier erected over the entire shrine and deflected the shot that came at them. After this, the voice from before spoke, but now, it was much louder so that everyone in the entire area could hear. "I am the Magatama of Earth, the keeper of this sacred shrine. Those who enter it are protected from all things that wish them harm. You who harbor evil thoughts can never hope to pierce my shield!"
When Xeion saw this, he was glad. He was happy that he was able to protect his comrades even though he should have looked out for himself first. As soon as the shrine formed, the Yamata No Orochi's tail appeared from behind. Xeion had already sensed its presence a while ago, but chose to protect his friends first before all else. Closing his eyes, he awaited for the stingig sensation from the strike of the gigantic tails.
Xeion felt that he was hit by several trucks as not one, not two, but all eight tails rammed Xeion with immense power. Although he had armor which somehow cushioned its blows, Xeion was still in pain. The force of the hits sent Xeion flying off Yamata No Orochi's back. Miraculously, he was still able to adjust his body weight to stabilize himself in mid-air even after suffering from those punishing blows and used his reiatsu to soften his fall on the ground.
When Xeion landed, he fell to one knee and coughed up blood, something totally normal after suffering such a horrendous strike. Xeion still felt his body tingle in pain and struggled to pull himself up. Although in pain, he was happy. "Well...at least my friends are safe," said Xeion in his head, catching his breath while wincing in pain.

Rakey stood, watching the fight go on. Seeing that she was protected from the laser caused by one of Ky's Yamata no Orochi's heads, she was relieved. But her relief disappeared just as fast as it had come when she saw Xeion get hit, not once, but eight times. The arrrancar let out a gasp and watched him land, afraid he would become limp and motionless like he had been earlier. Seeing him land on his knee and cough up blood, she grew worried. ". . .Xeion-san, ganbatte, (Rough translation:keep at it)" She spoke.

Upon seeing that Xeion was still weakened by Yamata No Orochi's eight, consecutive attacks, Ky smiled. He didn't think that the tail swipes would be able to work as well as it did since he expected Xeion to have some ingenious counterattack for him, but it seemed as though Xeion, like he had anticipated, put more importance on protecting the girls more than he did himself. That trait was what made Xeion a valuable ally and a great comrade, but for his enemies, it was something that could be exploited numerous times in order give them as much opportunity ti land a hit on him as they can, but unless they could exploit it for more than a second time as Xeion would have already created a way to give protection to his friends by then thereby closing the window of opportunity, as he did when he summoned that thing to protect the three girls. That, too, was something good about Xeion. He adapts well and is quick to cover his weaknesses so that he would be able to continue without further distraction although that meant putting himself and his body on the line for it. Ky knew that this is how Xeion fought and had no plans on changing it. It was his way of fighting and is the thing that makes Xeion unique since he's the only one brave, or stupid, enough to think of others even while his own life was on the line.
Yamata No Orochi looked at the weakened shinigami with an icy stare, examining him and his current status. "Target locked on," a computerized voice said and Ky smiled from inside the Yamata No Orochi. "It's time to bring it rain," said Ky before, all of a sudden, numerous compartments all over Yamata No Orochi's enormous body popped open and released an unholy rain of missiles all aimed at Xeion. Since Xeion was still weak, as his actions suggested, Ky assumed that it would be difficult for him to avoid such a barrage of missiles. Of course, Ky expected Xeion to live through it, but it would be unlikely that Xeion would still be able to fight if he did. Ky didn't hold his breath for it, however, since he knew that Xeion had the ability to always prove his theories wrong. He had something up his sleeve and it was time that he showed it. Ky didn't pick him to be his lieutenant in the Ravens for nothing.

Xeion simply knelt down and awaited for the missiles to draw nearer and nearer to him, catching his breath to regain his stamina as he did so. He still felt the horrendous stinging sensation the tails had caused and his body was still rattled from taking those hits unguarded. Although Xeion looked like he had a hard time and was about to given up the fight by allowing the missiles to hit him without much effort, that was not the case. Even though Xeion looked defenseless, he had a plan in his mind, as he knelt there, watching and waiting for the opportunity to present itself.
It didn't take long for the missiles to reach him. "100...90...80...70...," Xeion counted down, assuming the range that the incoming missiles were at before they hit him. As he knelt, Xeion's left hand was already glowing with cosmic energy, ready to unleash it when the time was right. "60...50...40...30...20...," he continued then raised his left hand in front of him as quickly as he could. "10," said Xeion finally as a pitch-dome, made from cosmic energy, enveloped Xeion and absorbed the missiles into the Dark Mirror dimension, saving Xeion from being blown to bits.
As the missile barrage ended, Xeion, from the inside, took the opportunity for a surprise attack and jumped into the walls of the cosmic energy dome since the dome was still basically just a myriad of Dark Mirrors created in order to form a protective dome. Instantaneously, another Dark Mirror appeared in front of Yamata No Orochi's main head and Xeion jumped out of it, landing on top of the aforementioned head. Temporarily sheathing Elena back into her scabbard, Xeion placed his hand on top of the head and began chanting for a bakudo. "Carriage of thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. White light, divide into six! Bakudo #61, Six Rod Light Restraint!"
As soon as he finished chanting the bakudo, six, giant beams of radiant light appeared from the sky and slammed down the Yamata No Orochi's body with great force, pinning it on the ground for the time being and allowing Xeion to make his move for another combo attack. Somersaulting backward, Xeion used his reiatsu once more to cushion his fall on the ground, quickly redrawing Elena for a strike until he was stopped by another voice in his mind.
"I saw how the Earth Magatama willingly volunteered to go first for your sake. It's not always that an element like him would volunteer to be put under the command of someone as young as you. He may have seen something that piqued his interest in you, and I, too am beginning to see it as well."
"Thank you, but may I ask who it is that is giving me compliments?"
"I am the Magatama of Fire, Guardian of the Southern Gates, Suzaku. Call upon my name and I shall burn all those that stand before you!"
"Thanks, Suzaku. Your aid will gladly be accepted."
Xeion dug his right foot on the ground to stop his momentum. Sticking both Elena and Kusanagi firmly on the ground, Xeion held out his hand. Just like before, he began to chant an incantation, following the lead of Suzaku's voice in his mind.
"Glowing fires that gives light to darkness, grant me your aid to burn those that trample the beauty of the land. Rise up, take form, cast down your flaming judgment and purify the tainted in your sacred flames! I summon thee, Bow of Blazing Judgement, Amaterasu!"
As soon as Xeion finished chanting, the Magatama of Fire behind him burst into flames that scattered into the wind. Suddenly, Xeion's left hand burned intensely, yet the flames didn't hurt him nor burn the clothes on him. A while later, the intense flames disappeared, and in its place was a magnificent long bow made from red metal with golden outlines, designed to look like raging flames from the tip to the base. The bow had no string, however, and no arrow to fire. Xeion doubted and thought of how this stringless bow would be useful, but his doubts were silenced when an orb appeared high above the Yamata No Orochi and spoke.
"You do not need a string and a bow to fire that. Simply imagine yourself stringing an arrow and it would appear to you. Fill that arrow with your desire to protect your friends and hit me with it. Now, boy, show me the strength of your heart!"
Xeion nodded and did as he was told. He aimed Amaterasu straight at the floating orb and imagined himself stringing an arrow and doing the appropriate hand gestures as if he really believed that he was doing such a thing. Suddenly, as he pulled back, flames appeared on the tip of Xeion's index finger, and when he couldn't pull his hand any further back, the flame fashioned itself in the form of a shining arrow. Letting the arrow go, it flew straight, ignoring the wind as if it was flying unhindered by anything but the strength of Xeion's shot. The arrow hit its mark, shattering the orb as it burst into a magnificent display of flames.
"Well done."
The flames formed and turned into a gigantic phoenix -- the Vermillion Bird, Suzaku. Suzaku then flew straight up and outstretched its wings which were so large that it covered the sun. In one, mighty flap, Suzaku produced countless bolts of flame, as numerous as rain drops, that came down on the Yamata No Orochi. The sheer number of the flaming bolts easily outnumbered Ky's missiles earlier. Suzaku disappeared soon after that, leaving only the flames that were now raining over the pinned Orochi.

"Hmph," grunted Ky with a smile. Just as he had anticipated, Xeion did not disappoint. Not only did Xeion find a way to get out of a situation like that, he had also planned a powerful counterattack. The bakudo hit the Yamata No Orochi and it was powerful enough to pin even a beast of its size to the ground. Shinigami kido was truly a powerful thing. Even as it tried to move, it only managed to flail its heads wildly as its body was left immoblized. Caution! Caution! Caution! The warning bells began to ring wildly and the annoying computerized voice warned over and over again with the countless fire projectiles about to rain down on it.
The sound of numerous explosions filled the air as the bolts hit Yamata No Orochi one after another. Already a minute had passed since the attack and still the explosions raged on until it all eventually stopped then returned to silence. When the dust settled, the body of the Yamata No Orochi lay on the ground, its hull glowing red hot due to the super-heated projectiles constantly making contact with it. Yamata No Orochi didn't stay immobile for long, however, as the bakudo Xeion cast wore off and the mechanical creature began moving once again, standing up to its full height of 500m. It's a good thing that it was made of orihalcum or it might have been easily destroyed by that bombardment.
The tails behind the Yamata No Orochi raised themselves up before shooting towards Xeion at high speeds, planning to use them as whips to buy him some time for what he was about to do next. In conjunction with the attack, Ky began charging Yamata No Orochi's lasers again and fire them at Xeion. Although the lasers were probably the main attack, Yamata No Orochi's tails were no pushover either as the tails began to pulse with electrical energy enough to fully paralyze a man. This would somewhat pose as a challenge to Xeion now for even just a single strike from the tails would incapacitate him and allow Ky a clear and sure hit for Yamata No Orochi's lasers.
At last, the lasers were finished charging and all that's left now is to release their destructive powers. Ky stopped attacking with Yamata No Orochi's tails to make way for the laser. A split second later, they came. Eight powerful lasers flying through the air, all having enough power to reduce a tenth of Karakura into a smoking pile of rubble in just one shot, converging on one target. Xeion.

As the electrified tails of Yamata No Orochi came at him, Xeion, quick on his feet, pulled out Elena and Kusanagi from the ground and dodged them with little difficulty. Due to the speed at which they lashed out, Xeion had a few near-hits, but all in all, he was fine. These tails which swung with such speed and power, although fast, were nothing compared to Feiy-sama's attacks which Xeion was so used to back when he was still training under her supervision. It was clear that all the training he had done with and after Fiey-sama paid off as he dodged the tails left and right, with such grace that a simple observer would think that Xeion was effortlessly avoiding attack after attack, making it seem easier than it actually is.
After the tails stopped attacking him, Xeion landed back on the ground and prepared for what was about to come next. From a while ago, he had already noticed Ky charging Yamata No Orochi's lasers while Xeion dodged the tails left and right, and because of that, Xeion knew what he had to do. When the lasers came, Xeion threw Yata No Kagami in front of the lasers' paths which protected him when it turned into its fortress-like chrysanthemum shield form. The lasers, although powerful, were easily deflected by the Yata No Kagami, ensuring Xeion's safety for the time being.
Returning to his left hand, one of the jewels on the shield broke, leaving six jewels left which surrounded the chrysanthemum emblem in the middle. Glancing back at the Yata No Kagami, Xeion grunted as a bead of sweat trickled down his face. He was exhausted and was nearing his limit as he just stood there, taking a break from the fighting and just waited for the Yamata No Orochi to attack. "You're one tough opponent, Ky," praised Xeion, smiling while he gripped Elena and Kusanagi more intensely. "But if I want to reclaim Rin-chan's, Kat-chan's, and Rakey-san's honors and make you apologize for your actions, I must to my best to defeat you, no matter what the odds."

Ky was growing irritated with the way Xeion was always to avoid taking more damage than he should because of that stupid shield. If Ky wanted to secure his victory, Ky must take out the use of that shield before it's too late. The strain on Ky's body caused by prolonged fusion with the Yamata No Orochi while in Overdrive was enormous. If Ky wanted to win, he had to do it fast or risk defeat, something he didn't want. In a battle, Ky always plays for keeps.
Locking onto Xeion's position, Ky unleashed Yamata No Orochi's tails once more then began firing the two head-mounted gattling guns on each of the Yamata No Orochi's eight heads in conjunction with the furious tail swipes. As Xeion dodged, Ky also took this time to lock onto Xeion and fire yet another barrage of missiles then topping it of with another barrage of laser shots from all the eight heads of the Yamata No Orochi. This was probably the most extravagant all-out attack strategy Ky had used during this fight, but this was still just a taste of what Ky had in mind.
With a loud mechanical whir, a pair of massive, orihalcum dragon wings sprouted out from the Yamata No Orochi's back. Flapping its powerful wings, the mechanical monster took flight, creating gale-like winds as it ascended higher and higher into the sky. While it gained altitude, a compartment on its back opened as a giant, 50-foot red obelisk appeared and began to gather in the energies in the surrounding atmosphere. In almost the same time, Yamata No Orochi's chest compartment burst open, revealing its Overdrive Core, pulsating with red energy. At the same time, it also revealed a gigantic cannon muzzle which was like, if not, bigger, than the Rauber's Abzug Der Vernichtung cannon.
Stopping when the Yamata No Orochi was about 50,000ft up in the air, Ky maintained his current altitude and focused all his efforts into making the charging of Yamata No Orochi's cannon faster. With a loud voice, he shouted in pure confidence as if his victory was already assured right from the beginning. "Hahahahaha, it's the end for you now, Xeion! Like I said before, in this Izumo, Susano-O will be the one to fall! Without wings, you have no way of reaching me! You have already lost and the Serpent King has won! Hehehe...hahaha...HAHAHA...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" laughed Ky. This was all just a matter of time. In a few minutes, he would release the power of the cannon and wipe out the entire Izumo dimension along with it.

Xeion was still regaining his stamina when Ky followed up his prior attack with an even more devastating combination of electrified lashes from Yamata No Orochi's tails, head-mounted gattling guns, missiles, and the eight lasers from before. "Damn, not again," thought Xeion in his mind and knelt down on the ground, putting forth the Yata No Kagami as it transformed into the Eight-Fold Chrysanthemum Shield. This was the only thing he could do now since he needed to regain his stamina if he wanted to finish this as quickly as he thought possible.
The intense bombardment from Yamta No Orochi came as the tail whips just bounced off the shield and protected Xeion no matter how hard the tails hit. Afterward, the sixth jewel shattered, leaving five left. Followed by the tails, the armor-piercing bullets from the gattling guns guns came. Although fast and numerous, the bullets, too, bounced off the chrysanthemum shields. Another jewel shattered, leaving four left. Next were the missiles, each having enough explosive power to wipe out an entire squad of soldiers on the battlefield, but they still weren't strong enough to break through the chrysanthemum shield. Yet another jewel shattered, leaving three left. Lastly, the lasers. As demonstrated before, the lasers were easily deflected at the cost of another jewel, leaving two left.
Xeion grit his teeth as he returned to his normal stance after the simultaneous attacks. Although he was safe and had already regained most of his stamina, Xeion was disappointed because of what he saw when the dust cleared -- the Yamata No Orochi, flying out of range of melee weapons and into the sky while charging a powerful-looking cannon from his chest. "No, everything he just did was all a diversion to give Yamata No Orochi time to fly up into the sky; and because I had to defend, Ky managed to destroy four jewels in one, fell swoop! Damn it!" shouted Xeion in his head, gritting his teeth in exasperation made even worse by the fact that, after hearing Ky's latest remark, made him think that Ky had this planned all along. Right from the beginning, Ky was playing with him.
When Xeion thought he had lost all hope, the three remaining Water, Metal, and Wood Magatamas spoke to him in his head.
"What's this? Giving up already? How disappointing!" the Water Magatama spoke.
"Have you no shame? Suzaku and The Cauldron allowed you to use their powers. Are you just going to quit?" the Metal Magatama followed.
"Don't forget, you still have something to do, right?" the Wood Magatama finished.
After hearing the voices, Xeion realized that all of them were right. Xeion still had to be true to his promise and make Ky apologize for insulting his female friends. No matter what, Xeion had to do this. With the weapons that the hearts from his friends gave him, Xeion promised, by their honor, to fight with all he had.
"Yes, that's right. I promised them, didn't I?"
Standing up with renewed zeal, Xeion's body pulsed with energy as his body became engulfed in golden light. Looking up at the Yamata No Orochi, Xeion was once again able to think clearly thanks to the pep talk the Magatamas gave him. Now, as he looked at the Yamata No Orochi, he didn't see the monster, but saw an opportunity -- a small, red orb shining brightly in the skies. "That's it, the one I'm looking for!" exclaimed Xeion with a smile. "No, you're wrong, Ky. I'm going to prove it and make you apologize to Rin-chan, Kat-chan, and Rakey-san!"
The eight Dragon Slayer lances assembled in front of him, all of which forming a straight line. Running up, Xeion stepped on the Dragon Lances and started to ascend the dizzying height where the Yamata No Orochi was at, using the broad Dragon Lances as makeshift stairs as he ascended the height as fast as he could. "Just you wait, Ky! I'll get you! I promised my friends I would!"

Jan knew he wanted to see Xeion fall in battle, oh so badly... But he had other things to worry about, like the attacking Arrancar. His simple beam had been quickly nullified, but if it had not been, Jan's opponent would not have been worth his time anyway. Charging energy into his polearm, Jan was already getting ready for another attack.
Feeling the wall of energy moving at him, Jan suddenly flipped backwards and brought his naginata forward. "Piercing Line." Standing to face the wall, he used a Sonido to break through and targeted the defending Arrancar with the attack he had just named. His electrically-charged Zanpakuto headed right for the point that the crossed arm blades came together, hoping to score an indirect hit with his energy wan weapon. Jan kept his wakisashi charging throughout, already preparing to counterattack.
((Well, with the current plot wrapping up, and Ky and Xeion's fight on a short post limit, we might as well go all-out quickly, right?))

Ky was even more amused by Xeion's sudden actions in attempting reach him and Yamata No Orochi with the ingenious method of using his ARMS, the broad Dragon Slayers, as stairs as he ascended. Ky knew all too well that once he has been motivated to do something, he won't stop until he is either forced to stop, knocked unconscious, or runs out of energy. Although Ky knew that what Xeion was doing was dangerous beyond all reason, the very fact that he still kept going amazed Ky even more. Normally, anybody would cringe at the idea of climbing up to such a height manually not only because it was a tiring journey, but it also entailed the risk of falling down to one's death as well as the cold air could easily cause frost bite on unprotected limbs. But even so, Ky saw that Xeion was determined to reach him and made him smile.
"The keen spirit seizes the prompt occasion, makes a thought, starts into instant action, and at once plans, performs, resolves, and executes," said Ky, watching Xeion climb higher and higher. It was a quote from a book by Hannah Moore and that was exactly what described Xeion right now, displaying skill and courage beyond the conventional brave man which would easily earn him a title as a stupid, but brave, person. The courage Xeion displayed, however, was the most remarkable of all. Courage is not really the absence of fear and ignoring danger, as some people believe it to be, but it is the presence of fear, yet still continuing nevertheless, meeting it with eyes wide open. Though as much as Ky was impressed with Xeion, he was not about to let victory slip away from his fingers. Ky was just as determined to win as Xeion was and would do everything to stop him from reaching Yamata No Orocho, because if he did, Ky knew that he would most certainly lose.
Another compartment opened behind the Yamata No Orochi, just below the red obelisk, as two large missiles fired off into the sky and exploded just above the clouds, turning them darker and darker. The missiles were experimental weather control devices designed to spread specially charged particles into the clouds and force them to make a powerful storm and it seemed that they were working quite well.
Before long, powerful winds swept through the once serene landscape and lighting crackled in the clouds. Soon, rain began pouring down from the sky, and together with the force of the wind, swept the droplets along with it. At the speed the rain droplets were going, anything that would be hit by it would feel as if they were being hit by a needle. The powerful winds, the needle-like rain droplets, and the low visibility caused by the powerful storm would make Xeion's ascent difficult as the rain would make it hard for him to get some solid footing on the Dragon Slayers and the powerful winds would most likely knock him off balance at some point in time. Even if Xeion did manage to still continue to ascend, the storm would, at best, delay him enough until Ky was ready to fire his cannon and destroy the entire place once and for all.

The winds howled like an angry Feiy-sama on a cloudy morning day without having received her daily emotional nourishment from Rhia-taicho. The powerful gusts that constantly battered Xeion's body made the ascent more difficult without a doubt, but even so, Xeion still kept on going. The needle-like raindrops that were constantly pricking his skin we're nothing compared to Xeion's will to keep his promise to Rin-chan, Kat-chan, and Rakey-san, as he climbed higher and higher towards his destination, ignoring the pain.
When he reached the halfway mark of 25,000 feet, he smiled. "Yes, just a little more!" thought Xeion, pumping himself up even more. Eventually though, Xeion slipped when he stepped on one Dragon Slayer lance. He would have been able to correct his mistake and continue had it not been due to the heavy winds and rain, but because of those two factors, Xeion fell back, but was lucky enough to be able to grab on to a Dragon Slayer. Although safe for the time being, his grip was slowly getting weaker and weaker because the rain and wind made it hard to hold on for so long.
"You seem to have taken our advice seriously then, boy. I admire your courage that is as strong as tempered steel, although it seems to me that you cannot do this alone," the voice from the Metal Magatama spoke to Xeion. Nodding his head, Xeion accepted his offer.
"Thank you, great...," Xeion said, but was stopped when the Metal Magatama interjected.
"I am the Magatama of Metal, Guardian of the Western Gates, Byaku. Call upon my name and I shall put your enemies to the sword with my unbreakable steel!"
"Thanks, Byaku, but I would like it if you won't kill them, okay?"
Letting go of the Dragon Slayers, Xeion recalled all eight of them to return to his side and put all his trust in Byaku. Whether he would keep his promise of helping him or leave Xeion to plummet to his death would be all up to Byaku. Closing his eyes, he began to chant. He was naturally nervous, but he put his faith in Byaku.
"Tempered steel that smites the wicked, grant me your aid to destroy those who ravage the kingdom. Rise up, take form, become a powerful blade that can slice the heavens! I summon you, Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi!"
In a bright flash of light, Xeion stopped falling, but instead, landed on a giant metal object that was moving at great speed, flying up to the sky with twice as much speed compared to how fast Xeion ascended using his Dragon Slayers. "Huh, what the heck!?" exclaimed Xeion with a look of confusion before he was enlightened by Byaku. "You are now on a giant sword whose name itself means the sword of the gathering clouds of heaven. I will protect you from all harm until you can get to where you want to go." said Byaku. While he rode on Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, this allowed Xeion to rest and regain his strength for the upcoming moment of truth. Climbing up 25,000 feet was no small task and was obviously tiring for any man.
"Thanks, Byaku. You're a real life-saver," answered Xeion, using the time given to him by Byaku to rest until the time for his eventual showdown with the Yamata No Orochi's cannon would come.

Ky saw what Xeion just did which made him feel a bit uneasy. It seems like Xeion doesn't want to just give up and accept defeat. What's more, he was now riding on a giant sword that was flying straight at him. Ky wasnt worried about the sword hitting him though as, no matter how big it was, it would do nothing more than create sparks or scratch Yamata No Orochi's orihalcum body, at best. What Ky was worried about more was the person who was riding on the sword as he knew that Xeion would be more of a threat to him that the sword. Besides, Ky had already calculated the speed and trajectory of the sword via Yamata No Orochi's computer and knew that it wasn't nearly fast enough to reach him, but it will get close to him enough, a mere 500m gap in between the calculated tip of the sword and Yamata No Orochi's core, so that Xeion could have an opportunity to attack him.
Ky had exhausted his means of stopping him, all proved to have little effectiveness on Xeion, so Ky just decided to focus all of Yamata No Orochi's processes into charging the cannon. Yamata No Orochi's outer body began to glow red hot, evaporating the rain drops that hit it then turned it into steam. Ky was really pushing the Orochi's capacities to their limits all for the sake of charging it just in time to fire the cannon point-blank at Xeion. "Charge, damn it, charge!"
