Kidou walked down a clearly marked pathway to the dojo, taking no great strides in attempting to get their. His sword was at his side, as usual, making a slight tapping noise as it bumped against his leg as he moved. 'How long has it been, Tsuin,' He thought to his zampakuto, 'Since we have walked this path and forged our distinct style of attack?' The sword was silent for a minute, as if contemplating this. 'Long,' replied Tsuin, 'Longer than it should be.' Kidou thought about this as he opened an already slightly open door, revealing an unknown shinigami. Instead of challenging this mysterious person, he let him be, moving over to a dummy. At this point, Kidou should have been practicing with other shinigami and not an ordinary dummy, but it was only really for the old nostalgia he felt when fighting one.

He started out in a drawing position, left hand at his blade's guard. With a gentle flick, the blade slid out of it's sheath and into Kidou's practiced right hand. Once it was caught, Kidou brought out in a full horizontal arc and then back at his side. His body then relaxed, his blade up and moving dance like in his hand as if teasing the dummy. He first started out by quickly moving to the side as if parrying a blow. He then brought his blade up over his left shoulder, moving forward quickly as he did. When he was within 3 feet of the dummy, he made a fast diagonal slash the cut the dummy from his right shoulder to his left hip. Unsatisfied, he quickly moved on to the dummy closest to him. Spotting another one behind it, Kidou jumped over the dummy and landed in front of the other dummy, making a vertical slash as he did. As the two halves of the dummy started to fall, Kidou quickly moved backwards, sticking his blade under his left armpit. As he moved backwards, the blade hit it's mark, stabbing the dummy. Kidou then viciously brought the blade down and out of the dummy, creating a huge slash down the dummy's mid and lower sections.

Mio stopped the little explosives movements in her palm when he spoke, looking at it then up to him. After a moment, she looked back to the little bomb and lifted her other hand up to it, messing with the fuse a little. Pulling the short string from the object she handed it out to him to take if he so wished. "I didn't mean to worry you. It's harmless now." She said, referring to the fact it no longer hand it's fuse and she had disabled the device while fiddling with it. She tried to smile, but it seemed to forced and she stopped. "I knew I wasn't a squad one person, but I'd like to be trained to be." She commented, looking back to her hands where the useless metal ball rested. She wanted to learn to use her sword like everyone else could, not these tiny bombs that wouldn't hurt a weak hollow.
Hearing the voice she looked up to see a familiar face for once in days. She tilted her head slightly as she worked in her mind what he meant, and once it clicked she focused back on the present happenings around her. Mio followed what he did with her eyes and stared up at him as he spoke. "Hello... It's nice to see you again... Um... I'm sorry I forgot your name." She said, a little embarrassed at that and feeling horrible for forgetting. Lowering her gaze she scratched the back of her head with one hand and put the explosive away with the other. She also felt bad that she didn't know what ad happened to the others as well. So she could offer little information.

A resounding laugh echoed throughout the Dojo as he shook his head. "Don't worry about it. The name's Lerato, Lerato De Clements, fifth seat of the first squad." He continued to laugh until his sides started to hurt. "Don't worry about being a 'squad one person' right now. No one is to begin with. We all work our asses off to become the elite of the Sereitei, and if my gut feelings are anything to go by, I'm sure you'll be just as good as us in no time. Perhaps even better." He gave her a cheeky smile. From behind him came the distinct presence of an old friend. Reaching down to Mio's hand he snatched up her disarmed bomb before she could put it away, begging her apology even as he turned on his heal and hurled the small ball at Kidou. "Oi! Heads up!" He called out, waiting to see if Kidou had lost anything in the time that gone by.
[Yes short, but nothing really to say.]

Tezuka sat back and watched passively as more members of his squad came in to the dojo, pursing his bottom lip lightly at this interesting turn of events. 'So, the gang's almost all here, huh?' A smile betrayed him, the corners of his eyes pinching as he listened to Lerato. It was true, no one did nothing to get where they were. Each and every one of them worked, trained, sweated, bled, cried, and bared the weight of their respective responsibilities with little complaint other than wanting more of it. It was a comforting fact, no one was a slouch and they didn't go around bragging like little kids. The only thing that really pegged his meter was the misconception of their so called "elitism". What a joke that was.
He sighed to himself, shaking off the annoying thoughts that swam around in his head before turning to see Lerato hurl the now harmless iron ball at Kidou. It wasn't gonna be as harmless as he thought it was if the boy didn't catch it.

The candles illuminated the training dojo that seemed to be busting with commotion. Sejiro's eyes glanced back and forth and recognized his vice captain and his fifth seat, but failed to put a name to the other two shinigami in the dojo. His heart beat quickened slightly with excitement knowing he would be meeting new people, Sejiro always loved meeting people for the first time. When Sejiro entered the dojo he was presented with a chaotic scene taking place between his fellow duelists. If Tezuka and Lerato are here I know I could have an amazing training session, Sejiro thought to himself as a smile smeared his face. Though it was unnerving at first he found the needed politeness to bow and greet his comrades. Lowering his head and bowing to Tezuka he said, "Hello Tezuka-sama." He raised his body back up to a full stand as well as his head and then glanced over to see Lerato and a new girl he had never met before. "Hello Lerato-san," Sejiro waived his arm at his fifth seat watching him hurl a silver ball at a man he had seen on his first mission with the squad. Though he took the time to greet his higher ups his interests were turned back to the shy girl that stood next to Lerato and Tezuka. He walked over to the awkward and timid girl and held a polite and warm gaze with her nervous eyes. Sejiro did not know if she noticed him but he bowed respectfully and said, "Hello I do not believe we have met. My name is Kasumioji Sejiro." He raised his body back up and his head that revealed a warm smile on his face sent towards the girl. Sejiro held out his hand and waited for the girl to return his greeting.

Kidou, slightly angered and annoyed by Lerato's test, brought his sword up without looking in the direction of the iron ball. The ball connected with the edge of the blade and Kidou brought it back a little so that it wouldn't immediately fall off his sword. Carefully flicking his wrist, the iron ball leaped into the air slightly and, with a quick change in position the sword in his hand, landed on the spine of the blade, perfectly balanced. Kidou then moved it back and forth on the blade with ease, contemplating what to do with the ball. 'Well,' Said Tsuin inside of his head, 'You could throw back at the guy who tossed it at you in the first place...,' She said in a thoughtful tone, it was almost playful if it didn't have heavy overtones of malice, 'Or you could throw it at that guy who is smiling at you oddly.' Kidou stopped the ball at the tip of the blade, finally done thinking. He then tossed the ball up into the air with another simple flick of his wrist and made 6 surprisingly fast slashes, cutting the ball into even little chunks that made the detestation of their hitting the ground known with a solid thump, Kidou still looked forward with mild annoyance, he had never moved from his position throughout the whole affair. 'Your no fun, Kishi.' Tsuin said to him, mocking his choice.

Axius just become a member of squad one was trying to get his bearings of everything. Axius was always looking to get stronger and hoped that this sqaud would help him do that, so he decided that the first place he would check out would be the Squad Dojo. As he walked in the door he was kind of bewildered by the little secne he had walked in on man slicing a ball to pieces. Axius decided to just secure a position against wall on the side. He decided to keep to himself and observe everyone for now.

"Oh yes! Lerato. I remember now." She said, repeating it in her mind so she wouldn't forget it a second time and run into this embarrassing situation again. She had almost gotten the harmless explosive away when it was snatched from her hand and thrown across the room. Standing quickly she watched as it traveled toward the other man, who caught it anyway. Breathing a sigh of relief she relaxed when she remembered she took the fuse out, disarming it.
Mio was about to sit again when she heard a voice speak to her, or so she guessed. Looking over to the man who called himself Kasumioji she smiled slightly, though nervously, and bowed toward him as well. Looking at his hand Mio took it, though her grip was weak. "I'm Mio Hoshi. Pleasure." she introduced herself, wondering if she should let go of his hand or not. While she debated this she got a glance of the man who caught her bomb. He cut it into small pieces, rendering it completely useless to her. Oh well, she would just have to make a new one.
(It's alright. No harm done.)

Tezuka got to his, grunting lightly as he pushed himself up with hand on knee. Turning, he glanced over at Mio and Seijiro exchanging pleasantries and smiled at this, liking how things were going so far. Another turn, pivoting on his heel, and he moved towards Kidou, stopping just short of the man to pick up the pieces of the iron bomb that lay at his feet. There wasn't anything he could do about the black powder, but he could at least retrieve the casing. With all the pieces collected in his left hand he stood back up, wiping his right hand on his hakama's leg to brush off any lingering particles of the explosive. Hand thrust forward he flexed his fingers, palm side towards him, but held out as a greeting to Kidou all the same. "I don't believe we've been formally introduced." He said with a more noticeable smile. "Tezuka Matsushima. Resident smartass and Wannabe Lieutenant. Pleased ta' meet'cha." His arm pulsated a little as the muscles flexed. The handshake was more of an arm grasp than actually touching the other's hand.

Axius started to giggle a little bit. He couldn't help but laugh at how the one named. Tezuka introduced himself. Axius also wanted to introduce himself but he didn't know where to start so he waited till someone approached him. While he waited he though of how he should introduce himself as well. He wasn't sure if he should be overly proper or more relaxed. He started to become tense even though he was just standing there.

"Kidou Shikaku," Kidou said grasping the hand with equal firmness, "It's a pleasure to meet you." He felt a twinge of annoyance that Razil was had left his position and gained a captain seat and him losing his position because of his absence, making the gap between them grow. I will definitely catch up and beat you Razil, count on it. He thought as he let go of the shinigami's hand. "So," He said, now looking around at the new faces that had joined in his absence, "What's happened in the past few weeks?"
