She raised an eyebrow cheekily. "Gee, I bet you're a real hit at parties." She looked around hungrily. On the other side of the bonfire, a tall, blue being was arranging huge slices of fish ready to be roasted.
"Ohhh, I'm so hungry," she moaned. Suddenly she seemed to faulter. A thought had crossed her mind.
"Umm..."
She gazed up at Tyronus and Riley, her face blushing a delicate shade of pink.
"So I guess this means we're friends now, huh?" she beamed happily.

"Of course we are Pippa, if you can tolerate my smell, we are friends. I could go for some fish, it smells delicious raw."
One of Tyronuse's common meals were fish, they way they rotted and melt in his mouth and stomach. He got most of his energy from fish, other creaures just didn't have the right oils and fluids fish had. Fish eggs were also coudl when smashed into a fine paste. Kansen were also known to be water creatures, being able to filter the water for dead organisms was one of the specialties.

Riley smiled. A friend. It's what she needed now that she was starting a new life. "Or." Riley said. "We could have cooked fish. No offense Tyronuse but a lot of people like it cooked." She smiled. "What do think Pippa? Would you like some fish?"

"But then the fish loses most of its nutrients, the only reason you humans cook it is becase your immune systems are basicly bacterial toilets. Mine can resist most diseases, I can eat raw anything. My diet is much more varied then a human's diet."
Of course, it wasn't by much. Tyronus ate dead humans as well as cats, dogs, anything that was dead. From plants to reptiels, he would eat it. The only thing he wouldn't eat is soemthing that was alive or waste products. Tyronus was at least above eating other creatures waste, it was even disgusting for him. Tyronus also never wasted a single part of the creature besides their intestines, colo, and bladder. Besides those, he ate everything, including the bones.

"oh, ok." Baralai said absorbing information. "you didn't answer my question...." Rikku said calmly. "Because it was a rude question." Baralai snapped at his sister. "How was it rude he isn't a girl, there is no rule that says you can't ask a man his age." Rikku argued.

((Oh, sorry! I didn't realize it was night. Lazarus is a very lazy person then.))
Lazarus felt a tingling behind his neck. He didn't know what it was but he felt antsy and started to look around at the citizens. 'Something doesn't feel right...' He started to walk quicker out of instinct. Pulling his collar up, he went into a crowd, trying to blend in.

"I thought I said it, I'm over 900 years old. About 9 years old in Kansen years I think...Or is it 90? I can't remeber anymore, each year is just a step towards extinction, all very depressing."
Tyronus did feel a little uncomfortable talking about his age, each year was a step closer to the extinction of the Kansen. He being the last of his kind, meaning his death would make the Kansen seem to cease to exist. No records are even kept of the Kansen, no one knows who they were. Tyronus needed to remind this island who use to live here, that woudl go on his lsit of things to accomplish.

"Well you created Ichinen right?" Baralai said thinking, "So then why don't you just make a girl?" "Yeah, that sounds logical. then you wouldn't go extinct." Rikku said thinking it sounded like a good idea.

"Ichinen is a special case, he was developed by Tyro, who is now part of me again. Since Tyro was part of my mind, when he created Ichinen, he was part of Tyro's mind. When I absorbed Tyro, that connection was cut and Ichinen became independant. If I created a woman, she would just be part of me, not an actaul being. Plus, that would be like marrying your sister or...What is the more cruder word for it? Nevermind, Kansen can't produce asexually if that is what you were getting at. Ichinen is not even a Kansen, but more of a human."

The man who was following Lazarus smirked when he saw him vanish into a crowded area. You can't hide from me we made a mental connection. The man continued to follow Lazarus and reached into his cloak, This should make you pay attention...

"well there has got to be more than one of you." Rikku said optimistically. "I agree, even if you think you were, all killed, how do you know you are for sure the only one that survived don't give up hope." Baralai said thinking about the improbability of being able to purposefully kill off every single creature of a certain species.

Tyronus didn't want to speak of his race anymore, he didn't want to open old wounds. This talk was getting his hopes up, he didn't want false hope. The taller that hope created got, the harder it would fall from the destruction of the truth. These chidlren didn't understand, they still had there kind around or at least people who were like their kind. No one looked like a Kansen, so even that pleasure was absent from Tyronus.

Lazarus couldn't shake the feeling and finally recognized it. It was the feeling of someone's eyes on him. He wanted to smack his head for his stupidity. Lazarus was probably still groggy from sleep.
The only safe place he thought of would be where his other brothers were. Dodging behind some closing food carts, Lazarus headed into an alleyway and cut through to the entrance of the forest.

The man saw how Lazarus darted away and smirked again at his speed, it was incredible. "Well well well look at how he moves." The man on the roof jumped up in the air and then faded away he soon appeared several feet in front of Lazarus blocking the path he was taking. "We're you trying to go this way?" The man said as he pointed behind him.

Lazarus didn't stop his run, attempting to cut past the man. They were near enough to the forest, so he cupped his mouth and let out a bird call of sorts. It was a distress signal to his brethren and hopefully they heard it. All Lazarus had to do was get into the forest... And then it would be easy from there.
