Although he didn't understand what she meant by 'being like most guys', Dante didn't want to leave. He cared deeply for April. He went into the house after her.

Dante was still pretty much unaware of what was going on. April hadn't told him everything. But he decided that whatever the problem was he would be there to help fix it.

Late on "So Dante any ideas for the baby's name?" He gave me this odd look. "You do know what's wrong with me right?" he shoke his head no. "I'm pregnant meaning I'm going to have your baby. Your not even human baby."

This came as news to him. he had no idea that was the problem. But then he thought. (This child won't be human, but it certainly won't be a demon...) And so after thinking about it, he raised the question to her. "In that case, it won't be a demon either will it?"

Dante couldn't help it. He laughed. It sounded absurd. Blame the dog? Who'd believe that? Of course, Dante got a hold of himself and apologized immediately.

"It was kind funny." Well about six months past same thing everyday until two months. Then came morning sickness yippy that was fun. Not really. Then mood swings and cravings. One minute I wanted to hit someone the next minute I'm crying. Pregancy makes no sense at all. I also had to teach Dante to drive so when I get close we can go.

Dante had gotten used to life as a human by now. Although he still didn't understand the changes April was going through, he dealt with them in a kind and gentle manner. As the days flew by, Dante cared less about his own problems (whatever those might be exactly) and more about taking care of April and his unborn child.

Finally after a few more days. I felt a feeling "I think my water broke" I got an odd face. "Baby coming now!" I walked to the car as best I could. Dante climbed in and raced off. We made it in time. They rushed me to a room. Then after screaming cusing people out. The pain ended. A minute or two later I was holding my baby.

Dante looked at his child. He felt relieved. The baby didn't have any distinctive features of a demon. for the most part it looked human. However, there were a few features that had been passed on. the child had wolf ears and a short tail that was easily overlooked. It then hit Dante that the child could have some of the same abilities that demons have. The only way he could tell for sure was to watch the child grow along with him and April.
