Magikarp can learn tackle in platinum!? =O

@Ota: Who cares if Hash called some pokemon? You can use them as well.

I thought it was capable of knowing tacke ever since R/S/E.

It's always been able to learn Tackle. Even back in first gen.

Really? I don't remember mine ever learning tackle.

I was raising one to get a Gyarados last time I played Red. It learned Tackle around level 15.

Let us hope that never happened to him.

Maybe he just wanted to change his eyes, is all?

(Dammit Gaia, make some way of changing eyes without deleting your avi.)

I could swear it could learn tackle too. I tried one of those lame Mew tricks when I was little and mine learned it when I was trying to turn it into a Mew.

Was it the 'leave Magikarp in the Daycare for 50 hours' one? XD

They can also learn flail at level 30 I think.

My cousin probably misheard whoever told him the trick, then.

I've been running around in Platinum with only five Pokemon... And I'm considering adding a sixth soon considering I'm standing in front of the Pokemon League and want to go in totally prepared.

Here's my team.

Empoleon
Gengar
Tropius
Magmortar
Mamoswine

Anybody halp?

Something electric, but not Magnezone or Jolteon. They are MINE. (And hopefully not Electivire. Annoying little OU b*****d he is.)

I'm not very fond of Electavire, but other than that, there aren't any electric types...
Besides the Chu family....
>_>
There are plenty of electric type pokemon. neutral

In Platinum without trading?
Let me see...
Pachirisu (so cute but do not want)
Rotom (Meh. I'd rather have his lawn mower form)
Pichu-Pikachu-Raichu (... no...)
Magnemite-Magneton-Magnezone (Hash's)
Eevee-Jolteon (Hash's)
Shinx-Luxio-Luxray (More Attack basesd, I'd rather have a Spec. Attack electric)
Elekid-Electabuzz-Electavire (Do not like)

....

I think I missed some.

What's wrong with the chu's?

Reg: Flail is like the fishy upgrade to Tackle.

Flail does damage relative to the user's HP.

The less there is, the more damage it'll deal.

Attack is stronger the weaker Magikarp is.
