RANDOM-anyone know a good tutorial for painting (or at LEAST coloring) various wounds (welts, bruises, etc.)? I've looked all over and found nothing.

I don't normally draw wounds or injuries in my work.

Pity. I'm going to do a painting (whoa, right? I never do paintings. XP) that's sort of post-apocalyptic and I cant have my dude with perfect pretty skin. :c

Well, if any of my art classes have served me well, I guess you can try blending the skin tones and make slightly darker blends for some markings here and there.
And maybe lightly brush in the red here and there, for light scrapes, perhaps...
Does that sound good?
