TtheHero Ugh, everything feels so one-sided now...
From being demanded to go to that awful place every Saturday, to begin pressed about issues I'm not even 100% ready for yet, it seems I just can't win...
I'm already doing good in college ATM, what more do they want of me? You need to get outta tharrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm already doing good in college ATM, what more do they want of me? I can relate on the being pressed. My parents rule is that we have to go to church every week while we live with them. It's usually not that bad, but my friend who's been setting up D&D campaigns has scheduled most meetings for the same time as church so I have to decide between getting up early or leaving the campaign early. As for the issues, I can't say much without specifics. Can you tell them you're not ready and would like to wait, or would that cause more problems?

I would say I'm not fully ready yet, but it wouldn't help anything...
Granted, I'm aware they're concerned about my well being, but I want to prove to them that I do NOT have to do what they do to help myself get by.
There IS more then one way to get what one wants, and some ways are DEFINITELY more direct than hoping day by day that it just "happens".

Point out that there are other instances where you'll try to solve a problem through other means than just praying, such as going to a doctor when someone's sick. College is the same way; just praying you'll pass isn't going to help nearly as much as sitting down and studying everything.
