Jade smiled slighlty at Raleigh, knowing the girl had the best intentions. But something like this couldn't be solved with just words alone.

"There isn't much to tell. My brother is trying to kill me, and anyone that becomes too close to me gets attacked. Things were especially dangerous when I was with Deity...his brother and mine joined forces against us both. They seemed to have broken ties though since Deity and I split up though....."

Jade closed her eyes for a moment, speaking softly as she kept the shut.

"I lost something precious to me once....and it nearly killed me inside....who knows what could happen the next time...?"

There was not much for Keno to say in this so far. He was completely oblivious that Tali and Caine had teamed up against them. How had me missed such a thing? It was apparently not something they spoke much of. But then again, no one was much for talking of their haunting memories. In Orion, it was up to everyone else, or so it seemed to discuss your business when you weren't around or simply let the subject drop. But also, in the case of Faye, it was up to everyone to figure out that information so that they could talk about it. He humored himself as he thought about what would happen when next he met Epithany.

Jade sighed as the silence seemed to envelope them all. The thoughts that had buried themselve earlier started to come out again, running cirlces around her tired mind once more. It was during her fight with Keno that had started these thoughts, and her conversation with Unks that had provoked more. Things just accelerated from there on their own.

Man this sucks...

Raleigh shook her head, "Look towards the future. Listen to your heart. I know it's not as easy as it sounds believe me, but there are risks that sometimes you have to face if you really care for someone." She look up at Keno for a momment, then back down to Jade. "I'm sorry if I'm talking like I know you. But, I speak the truth, and if you ever need help. You always have your friends. Especially Keno, he talks about you alot, like you are his own sister." She remembered that time in the springs where he first spoke of Jade.

Jade smiled slightly and closed her eyes as she listened to Raleigh.

"You know...I sometimes forget how lucky I am to have so many friends....Thankyou...."

She opened her eyes and smiled at Raleigh, and then at Keno, nodding her head slighlty.

"I think that sounds like a plan. Something more for the daylight hours I think..."

Slowly, Jade stood up and stretched out, before taking a seat again on the couch.

"In fact...my mind is worn out from all the thinking for the last few days....I'm beat..."

"I'm afraid I cannot," Keno said sorrowfully as he rose and stretched as well. "I have some more business to attend to. I'll keep your room warm for your return. I'll be the cuddly thing under your bed." His eyes quite clearly said 'I wish I could stay,' but he could not. After his ordeal with User, he was physically worn, as usual. Perhaps not so much from User himself, but it always took a toll on his mind to torture the boy the way he did. A good night's sleep would prove better not only for that, but perhaps for some input on Jade's problem. He wrapped his arms around Raleigh as he floated up to eye level and planted a gentle kiss on her left cheek. "A kiss to see you off until next I see you." And as he used to, he vanished once again, returning to the room that wasn't really his, and the resting place that actually was.
