Ambrose ran his hand up Lin's back, comforting.
"There now, it's no blood of yours. I should send you back." He said, and winced a bit when he saw the wave of black magic roll over the sky.
In the sky, that wave rolled over Lazareth and those on his back. "You would challenge me when I've the power of the underworld at my fingertips?" He demanded, and his anger struck out at her, chilling her blood.
"Same goes." She said, and used her hand to seemingly slice open the air beside her. Spectors, led by Artemis, gushed out of their realm, circling the sky. And with her other hand, she sliced open the air on the other, and winged angels, guardians of Heaven, armed with bows and arrows soared out.
The two groups, spector and angel, looked questioningly at each other, then at Satan, and then just shrugged.
At that same moment, a bolt of earth shot up, and Danni looked over, and everything about her softened, just a bit. "Cook." The man she called Da was big and dark and angry. And his sights were set on her.
"There you are." Even as he reached for her, the devil took advantage of her distraction and lunged for her. Seeing him out of the corner of her eye, she spun to counter, and momentarily forgot she was on the back of a dragon. A moving dragon. Her foot found nothing but air, and with a little help from good ol' Satan, she was pitching backwards, momentarily breathless.
Before she could bring herself back, she felt the joined forces of two white magic users, cushioning her fall with a white cloud-like object that formed in the air.
She looked down, saw her father and her sister of all people calling up their magic. Lia looked completely baffled with herself, and Danni grinned down at her, enjoying this moment somehow.
"What the hell brought you around?" She called down, and Lia shrugged delicate shoulders, sighing.
"An essay!" She called back, and Danni could only shake her head before she was up and moving again, trying to track Lazareth's movements.

James fell out of the tree as he watched the four vanish in a flash of light. The souls were screaming in his head, and for once he could actually understand what they were saying. He sighed, looking between the scythe and the portal to the hundreds of souls behind him. The student sighed and tapped his foot on the ground... he could go... but he should probably stay, whatever they were doing he'd get in the way. But, the souls were being awfully... convincing. Which was James speak for his head was about to split in half from the screaming.
The portal closed behind the pair and he sighed, channeling his powers through the scythe. He could trace where they'd gone, and his eyes glowed a very deep violet as the souls moved around him extremely rapidly. It was true, he'd never been very good at practical magic. That was why he carried the scythe around; it helped him channel his necromant-ish abilities and his 'normal' magical ones. That, and the souls were a nice conduit for amplifying his powers as well. Fine, if they wanted to be so desperate....
The souls all shot into his body at once, and he felt like he'd been punched in the stomach. A band of light glowed brightly around the top of the scythe, not that he noticed. In the back of his brain, he heard something vaguely about a first seal being released. He ignored it, and focused his energies on tracking where Lin and her friends had gone. They were a long way off.... "Asteros neck un a venya," he said, muttering the old spell they'd been taught in class. Like teleportation... but different. The souls exploded and James disappeared, reappearing with a similar explosion next to where the others had appeared.
He resisted the impulse to throw up, forcing the vomit back down his throat as the souls faded from visible sight again, his eyes remaining the deep violet, and the band on the scythe still glowing. "I would rather... not do that again," he muttered, spinning his scythe and trying to gather what in the world was going on around him. "What did I do now?" he muttered, shaking his head.

Ambrose looked over, saw James appear, and blinked. Well, it was a party now.
"Welcome, I suppose. Watch the blood." He warned absently, and watched his baby sister go up against Satan...great.

{{I wasn't going to have Lin get involved in all of this since I like RPing in a school environment more, but oh well! I brought her in myself. lol!}}
Lin nearly collapsed at the strong feeling of black energy here. Not even Ambrose's soothing touch could drive away the dark energy she felt all around them. She had no idea where they were, but as soon as those evil figures appeared, Lin turned a ghostly white. Her pendant activated quickly, though, and it surrounded her with a force field made up of her people's magical spring water. That gave her enough white energy around her to not collapse at the intense dark energy nearby.
When she heard a familiar voice behind her, she quickly turned around and gasped when she saw James. "James! What are you doing here?!"
She held out her hand to him, the shield moving around her outstretched hand as she did so.
"Grab my hand, quickly! My shield will protect you, too, if you do."

When Adolf sensed the new presences, many of whom were quite unexperienced, he whipped around and stared at them. "Be careful," he said, and his voice boomed around. His eyes glowed brightly, and a circle formed around them--not a holy circle by any means, but it was an alchemic circle that would destroy any of the unholy demons who dared to step upon or inside it. They were, in that way, protected so they may continue to protect.
Another roar, almost deafening, ran rampant across the desert and, crushing and slicing all in its wake. This wolf yokai was not happy--especially since his goddaughter had become involved and was in any form of danger.

Koi thought for a second before leaping into the air Flying up high to get too the combat. "I wonder where everyone is!" She asked curiously looking down at Kith and Kai.
"Ugh she's going to get herself killed." Kai mutter before leaping into the air, but as her came down he didn't touch the floor but instead stopped on a invisible cushion of air. With that he immediately started to fly up towards Koi was behind him where Kith stood rubbing his eyes.
"Damn, the only race of demon that has wings but can't fly." He sighed and let the crystal float up above him joining the two others.

((James either, just figured since there's no one left at the school I'd rather not just lose him for a while. >.>))
James raised his scythe, steadying himself slightly. Something about this place... his powers didn't seem quite so out of place, even in the midst of battle. He wouldn't say they felt at home, but comfortable. Although, the souls quite obviously weren't. They were screaming again, and in another rare moment of clarity he could hear them, because they were all shouting the same word, which was the same in the variety of languages spoken by those that followed him; Hell.
"I really should have stayed at school..." he muttered before shaking his head at Lin's offer to take her hand. Tempting, but he didn't really feel it was necessary. Even with the giant... thing ahead of them. The alchemic seal appeared beneath his feet and he shook his head. More confusing things going on at once, as if he wasn't quite complicated enough. If it was hell... it was full of dead people... he could help.... He raised his scythe, channeling his powers as all 415 of the souls that surrounded him daily became visible to the naked eye, his pupil deep deep purple now.
The souls plunged into the ground, vanishing from view for a moment. James breathed heavily, this wasn't taking as much effort as usual... what was going on...? He still hadn't taken notice of the glowing band of light, something that had never happened before to his knowledge. A few moments later, cracks appeared in the ground, skeletal arms rising out as the souls that had found skeletal remains of bodies or something undead to possess began to return to protect James, and anything else he would ask them to do.

Ialo watched, with some measure of pride and amusement, as people began to mass at the site. He was also partly horrified – all these children, he was in charge of keeping him safe, and this was certainly not safe.
The black naga, in the form of a small spider, had been able to heal the flying dragon’s worst wounds, but she could do nothing for the poison. Nothing she possessed could counter the poison of the very dragon that guarded the Third Gate of Hell. She grimaced as she swung away from Ialo, floating though the air on a tiny webbed parachute.
For a while now, Ialo had been feeling somewhat dizzy, not flying as fast as he had been before. His whole body had a tingling, burning sensation, and it was becoming more and more difficult for him to keep track of what was going on. He twitched, and felt Seven leap away. Well good for it – her – whatever. Every time he closed his eyes, it became that much harder for him to open them again. Danni was right. He really was stupid, coming out here to help her. Valiant Headmaster, pffft. That image got flushed down the toilet months ago. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to help of course, it was just that in his drugged stupor, he had realized something. Something big. He couldn’t… He couldn’t remember what it was.
