Artemis sighed, rolling the crying girl on her back and staring into her eyes, forming a chain of seals as the world melted into black for the prisoner, Artemis replaced by a spitting image of Artemis in the girl's mind. Artemis was the girl's greatest fear. Artemis had reached the top of the totem pole. The little girl raised her hand and shoved it into the girl's heart, ripping it out, still beating. " Even your heart is black... You're pathetic!" The girl screamed again, something in her brain snapping as she started mumbling underneath her breath, about how she killed her team, and how she was as worthless as the dirt she lay on.
"Good.... You finally see the truth." Artemis laughed, tying the girl to the wagon and urging the ox forward, towards what was sure to be a disappointingly boring trip..

Artemis sighed softly, listening to the comforting sound of a body scraping through the sand, and the insane babblings of a mind that's been broken. Artemis smiled, whistling a soft tune to herself as she rode along, riding her high. Not even the huge dip they hit that lurched the wagon and produced an audible crack from somewhere under the wagon bothered her. She just grinned, whistling and reliving her fun, every detail down to the still-fresh scent of charred flesh played through her mind.

Artemis smiled as the prison loomed into view. She grinned, urging the ox forward faster. Almost done! All that's left now is to give them their toys... Although... They might need a little bit of work... She giggled her bell-like laugh, shaking her hair and fixing her choker to hide the scar over her throat. Although the girl won't be much help even if they fix her. Who knows, though? maybe they're better at fixing them... Hey, maybe I can come here to play sometime! She smiled at the thought.

And then she was there. She grinned proudly as the guards saw her handiwork. The girl laying and whimpering had to be removed to spot the three, seemingly dead men. "Don't worry... They're all alive... I might have overdone it a little bit, but they might recover!" She said it cheerily, with a big, toothy grin on her face as the guards stared in awe at what a small child had done... "Here's his papers. He's the tall one. My name is Artemis Malia. And I'm looking forward to ninja-ing for you again, sometime!" With that, she was gone, racing back across the sand faster than the eye could see. A huge trail of sand all that was visible as her tiny feet kicked it up around her.

The horse shot up from its seat and began to gallop off a bit. Roy had to slip out of horses path. It would have gone completely crazy but the guards proved to be good for exactly one thing in their miserable existences. They calmed the horses down a bit and began a slow trot. They were agitated after all. Roy just grinned but knew that if she had shocked his a** he’d probably be the same way. Dirty images of sparks and leather ran through his head. She had a big enough chest for it. He laughed a bit as he moved back around to the front.
“Come on ladies, lets get this done with…” He laughed a bit and then looked over to Yumi after what she had just said a few moments ago. “Gig impressed you?” Roy sighed a little. Big brawn and aggression won out again. Scrawny kids like him who were more passive were never gonna catch the cute or interesting girls. Kinami was just sick in the head, that had to be it. After all, she was perfectly content with a kid several years her junior. But then again, she was the only person to ever really treat him like a person outside his family members. Everyone else just kinda looked past him. Even now that Kinami was gone and the current idiot Kage hadn’t officially made him his assistant, no one really payed Roy much attention. In truth, he didn’t mind this in most cases; made sneaking around a lot easier but on a more human level… it was just sad.
Roy sighed a bit and shrugged it off. Nothing to do about it now but let it slide and keep stepping. Life was a pain in that respect.

Roy moved forward a bit as he looked around the area. The local prison was coming into view. At least the ‘cap’ of it was. You see, the actual prison was completely underground. This made it extremely easy to seal it off in case of a riot or something like that. Only tiny holes pierced the place to act as air holes. There were hundreds of them of course but they were all probably no bigger than a pen or pencil. He looked to the ground seeing the holes began to show up at their feet. This area was a strict No Jutsu Zone as there were some very interesting individuals in the prison. No one wanted to risk, even in the slightest, a prison break or a weakening of the structure. Sure it was hundreds of feet underground but still, better safe than sorry.
He looked ahead and saw a few dots that were growing larger. These were the guards in charge of accepting the prisoners. They were almost there, so damn close and yet so far. Roy could just picture the manga and hentai he’d buy with the cash from this mission.

Shuiro turned towards Roy as she heard his laugh. It was odd... one moment he was sulking... then next he was aggitated, and now he was laughing. She didn't get it. Walking up behind him, not too close, she tilted her head somewhat. "What are you laughing about... I didn't see anything funny..." She paused for a second. "And don't make a wise crack about how I can't really see..." She couldn't help but grin at the thought of that though... She made blind jokes too easy... Short jokes too, if the person was taller than her. It didn't take much to keep up with the carriage, and she could 'see' the prison ahead... It wouldn't be much longer now... not much longer at all.
The thought of Gig impression Yumi wasn't much of a surprise... After all, most girls fell for the big, tough, and brawny guys... whether they were too old or not. She could personally care less... After all, even though she didn't look it... she could kick a guy's butt anythime if she brought herself up to it... She was no push over...

“Nothing, just thinking of you in a leather dominatrix outfit is all.” He said it with such ease. No shame or fear at all. He was truly an odd child of twelve years of age to be sure. He laughed a bit harder, this time at the fact that Shuiro had actually questioned him on it. To think that the person that the situation was about would actually come up at this exact moment, it was truly priceless to be sure. He shook his head a little and then glanced ahead.
“So what are you gonna do with your share of the cash Shuiro? Some new kunai? A new outfit?” He grinned a little and began to mumble to himself, “A new bra…” He was a happy little child now. This mission was almost over after all.
He looked back to Yumi and spoke a bit louder for her to hear, “Oy, same question to you Yumi.”

The scent, and this proved that it had to be extremely strong, of the prison began to pierce through the holes in the ground. The air was even a little denser here and slightly discolored. What the hell was going on down in that hole anyway? Roy wasn’t sure he wanted to know. He glanced back to the kid and his friends who were now awake and cowering but still struggling to stay against the back wall. Of the cage, almost like it would protect them.
He felt a little bad for the guy but then again, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. Roy just took a deep sigh and looked off to the side. He didn’t want to think about this right now. All he wanted to think about was food, a bath and what he was gonna do next. That was it. Ahhhh the relaxing days… he was all for it now.

Shuiro's eyebrow raised. A dominatrix outfit, huh? You are so wierd... I doubt that's even my style... She didn't static up, didn't even blush... She was getting the hang of having better control... She still wasn't so sure what was so funny abiut it all though. Then the mention of the cash came up. As well as his idea of her getting a new bra. "I was thinking of getting a new weapon or two... but if you want to buy me a new bra, feel free to do so..." It would be his money after all. They were so close to the prison now... She ould kinda of see it herself... but not as much as she could 'see' it with her pulse. She just wanted to grab her money and go... There were plenty of things she could do with it... Increasing her skills were top priority though... "What are you going to buy? Something nice for your mom, or a new scroll perhaps?"

“I don’t know really. Probably some manga and por…” Crack…
That same sound… that same got damn sound. Roy stopped for a long moment… there was no way that thing had gotten this close and gotten stuck. Roy twitched a bit… it was a nervous tick that even Ryoko probably would start backing away from Roy due to. He grined a bit and soon began to twitch even down to his fingers. He spoke in a very slow, very calm tone and spoke, “Move the prisoners…now please…”
He was speaking with the guards of the prisoners. Even they felt the fear… no the phycoticness within Roy’s voice. Quickly the guards moved toward the cage and took it off the wagon and moved it away. The horse…oh that poor horse, began to nay loudly as it knew something not very nice was coming nearby. Roy soon turned around and slamed his hands against the wagon itself.
“DIE YOU FILTHY PIECE OF s**t!!”
There would be silence…. Pure silence almost as if even the earth itself feared Roy. Then, out of no where, a huge explosion would occur. Except it wasn’t an explosion of fire but one of dust and shrapnel and debris. It flew to and froe and littered the area.
The horses in question laid upon the ground, their mouths covered in foam as they had had heart attacks from the sight. They’d be fine in a while though. Roy took a deep breath and sighed. “So… who do we talk to get paid?”
Without any further question, the guards quickly gathered the cash reward together and handed it to Roy with a bow. They weren’t stupid.
Roy simply sighed… what a damn pain.

Shuiro listened as Roy was talking about what he would buy... She knew what would come after manga before the familiar crack of a wheel came to their ears. She couldn't help but sigh as she walked over to where the horses were. She was expecting to have to shock them again. Then she heard his voice again. Oh boy... I know that tone... Get the hell away... She'd backed away quickly... not wanting to be too close to the explosion... She had a feeling that ntohing good would come from it... not one bit. The sounds of crashing, snapping, and splintering wood echoed over the badlands... Damn... I'm so glad I don't get him pissed off... much...

She had to turn away as the dust expolosion blew across everyone. Her pulse scared her even more as the gorses panicked. She 'watched' as they fell to the ground, twitching... and not in the pissed way. As soon as it started, Roy was calm again... or so he masked himself to appear calm. She quickly maneuvered over to the frightened and foaming horses giving them a quick, but small, shocks every now and then... She had to start up their hearts again... atleats give them a niormal pulse that wouldn't kill them. Eventually they nayed in a half-hearted response... From there she knew they'd be fine... just needing rest. Getting up she walked up behind Roy again, 'seeing' the money in his hands... She really wanted her share right about then... She wanted to buy something...

It was true he came to the village incredibly strong, but he power is nothing compared to what it was, his past self wassent even a shadow of his strength now. He use to just be out for blood, in his mind killing meant power, the more your killed the stronger you were, but after a unfortunate incident Giglamesh had witnessed himself, he saw what he thought was power. It was when he fianally saw the power he thought he achieved on his face was when he began to doubt his power and began to becoming more human rather than a blood thirsty beast. With coming to the village he had found a ever greater power, and one of the teaching of the clan that its members had to find themselves, defense. Not to fight for them selves, but to defend others that was how one shown there true strength.
In the academy giglamesh saw yumi, he saw her emptiness, that longing for power...that power wassent for her self it was evident in her eye she wanted power for somebody else. Giglamesh knew that yumi's parent were harsh to her so he had a good clue that they were the ones she wanted to impress with her power. She was still a caterpillar going in to it's cocoon to become a butterfly, she wassent ready for light but with his help this girl would one day show her beautiful wings to everybody. "..Yes i first seen her in the academy...you have proably seen it to roy and cat....she has potential...she also dossent want the power for her self but for sombody else.....one day she will be able to spread her wings for all to see."

Yumi somewhat wanted to laugh about Roy commenting about Shuiro inappropriately but she didn't dare, especially while on a mission. Yumi hadn't been impressed by Giglamesh's muscle or brawn but shear strength, and she wasn't interested in boys really anyways, she wasn't that kind of girl. Everything was based on personality if she found interest in anyone. Yumi would look to see the prison just barely on the horizon and a slight smile would come across her face.
