"Yes. I did." She smiled, she looked at him wondering something to herself as she admired him, and the way he looked at her. She shook her head, "I've been quite tired for sometime because I've been working." "How are you today, Keno." She leaned over the bar, and took another sip from her bottle.

((Sorry 'bout that folks. But my best friend with the B-day tomorrow called to make plans. ^ ^;; lol ))

"I'm just fine. I actually just finished taking care of some business." His smile didn't fade as he spoke. Partly because he was always in a smiling mood with her, but also because he didn't want to yet burden her with the thought of someone so close to him in fact wanted to kill him. It was not her burden to bear. "So what kind of work have you been up to? If I had to guess, I'd say...something rather laboring on you?"

His eyes switched back to Jade as he received her answer. He saw the look in her eyes almost instantly and noted also her abrupt ending of the subject. It wasn't enough to staisfy him however. "So what's the problem then?" His eyes changed from happy and joyfull to concern and slgiht grief, all the while holding that same carelless haze.

Raleigh quietly listened to their conversation not really being introduced to the other girl she felt ashamed that it was non of her buisness. She turned her head down, and took another drink from her water bottle, and clossed her eyes hoping she wouldn't disturb them.

Still almost completely blind to what was passing through Jade's mind, Keno watched her go silently. "Oh! Where are my manners?" he said, mostly to himself. He smiled at Raleigh once more, whose eyes were closed for some reason. He grabbed her hand gently in his and squeezed it to catch her attention. "Hey come with me. I forgot to introduce you." He got out of his seat and gently attempted to guide Raleigh to the lounge after Jade. He peeked in shyly and spotted Jade on a couch. "Um....Imotou? I wanted you to meet someone. She's really important to me, so I hope you grow to like her." His face went pale from nervousness and then immediately red with blush as he spoke. He dropped his head for a moment, letting his hair hide his face as usual. Rising back up, he corrected his hair and wore a gentle smile. "Jade, this is Raleigh...Raleigh Faye. She's been here for quoite a while. Raleigh this is Jade. She...looks almost completely identical to Thorn.

Jade lifted her head, and finally smiled, genuinely at both Keno and Raleigh. Just doing that seemed to take a lot out of her, but she did it anyway. She stood up slowly and held her hand out to the young lady, still smiling.

"No need for the 'ma'am', I'm still young. Just call me Jade, and it's a pleasure to meet you finally. I've seen you around here before, but I just never had the chance to meet you."

Her tail curled up around ehr waist, to keep from twitching anxiously behind her. It seemed that for a brief moment, she was able to push her own problems aside for once.

"I'm glad to see you two so happy together." 3nodding

Once again, as if piecing together another puzzle, Keno looked at Jade curiously. "I just got this feeling," he began as he smiled, happy to see the two at least able to be civil. Being their first introduction, it was still too soon to tell. "Something tells me that us being together is what's upsetting you." He didn't mean specifically he and Raleigh, but Orion as a whole. Ichi had told him some time ago that most of Orion seemed to have been bitten with a love bug and everyone was pairing off with someone special to them. The last person Jade had been with to his knowledge was Deity, and that was some time ago. Being alone was not enjoyable, and he knew perhaps better than anyone. With that idea running through his mind, he was able to seemingly ignore the effects of hearing him and Raleigh being together from someone else's mouth.
