I hope no one has said this one yet...I havn't read them all yet... xp but.....You know your a band geek when everytime you see music notes written in a book or anywhere you try to sight read it & see if it really is a tune or how it goes. xd ....I'm so guilty of this it's pathetic really.... sweatdrop xd

You know you're a band geek when you only mark your music in Italian, and you have Italian terms in your class notes.
I just realized I write things in my music like "sempre forte" and "molto suffrando" (that last one probably isn't even an actual Italian word. Oh well).

You know you are band geek when you and you are in band and your brother is in marching band and you start to learn his music and march steps. You are then ahead of everyone else when you get to marching band. Guilty.

when you strive to get the enchanted strings on gaia because you cant find your own instrument, and you can tell when some things out of tune(example)
[were in class, he doesnt tune you unless your in either of the honor bands]
ok, so we were doing the F# scale (which i lurve on sax, its easy and fun) and a bunch of clarinets werent playing c# so he gave the idiots theyre fingerings and told them to try it and they were so out of tune i practicly screamed and i was like "oh dear jesus(no offense to anyone), someone tune them!"

You know your a band nerd if you spell egg eeg but you can recite and write every note to a song you played two yeras ago

Something simple or seemingly unimportant to non-musicians is a HUGE deal to you.
Ex: missing a band practise, spending 11 1/2 months a year on sequences, etc.

You know ur a band nerd when....
You play more than one or two instruments well.
You know the four different clefs.
You know how to spell your name with the keys of a piano. (Or Bach's)
Someone picks up your instrument and you freak out.
You CANNOT get the music out of your head (even the stuff from, like, years ago that was fun to play.)
You had your BD sign your case.

well this has something to do with choir and band(im in both)
you know your a band geek when in choir you sing your band songs.
you know your a choir nerd when you sing your choir songs in band.
you know your a band geek when you fight with the head of the jocks about how awesome band is(very guilty...he won and i almost cried)
You know your a band geek when you get frustrated when you cant find a band song on youtube.
you know your a band geek when you memerized which composer wrote which song for your concert.(not guilty but i have memerized some...my best friend memerizes all of them tho)
You know your a band geek when you get to Jazz 20 min. before your BD
You know your a band geek when in band camp you learned how to break into the band room to get your instrument or you are really early to jazz and the door is locked.(VERY VERY GUILTY)

You know you're a band geek when your town hates your band so you play more and louder just to irritate them...
You know you're a band geek when you get in a fight with the football coaches over who gets to use the field on Friday morning...
My band has done this numerous times... We are a very competitive group... Tiny, (24 members) but super proud of how far we've come...
SECOND PLACE @ FLORIDA BABAY!!!!! WHOOOO!!!!!
