MegaTherion777 Gravechylde MegaTherion777 Divinus Cruor it has been proven, that's why it became the LAW of gravity. my physics textbook published last year says it's the theory of gravity. maybe mexican scientists use different terminology? volvy - eeeeenteresting *rubs chin* I remember learning it as a law too. Maybe your textbook isn't different because of what Volvy said. are you sure you're not thinking of the law of universal gravitation (which is different, but related, to the theory of gravity)? No, I've always heard it as the law of gravity.

I have usually heard it tought as a law as well. I think it becoming a theory is probably new. Correct me if I am wrong though.

Let me try to judge this.
First, Newton had THEORY of gravitation. What he thought is not true in every case. However, it's true for most applications (for example it's true for our every day life when an apple falls down from a tree), therefore it is a LAW in classical physics/maths.
So basically - you're all right and it depends on the point from which you view this.

Gravechylde My Hollow So...............I've been reading JP Moreland's Love Your God With All Your Mind. What's it about? Moreland saying how everyone need to use their mind to increase intellect- like a muscle. And that every Christian can't shy away from debates and come across as blind faith believers. That we need to have solid, valid arguments for our faith, because they are there. Also explaining why and where ceratin ideas or neglect of certain ideas came about, and how we need to fix these problems. Basically the point of the book is: To grow, one needs to defend the faith and actually have the knowledge and sources to accurately provide proof doing so.

Perhaps I should read it. I am reading another book by C.S. Lewis: Mere Christianity. That is a good book as well.
