evening everyone i have been a fan of the books since they came out oh so many years ago i can say that character wise that harley is my favorite..though he made a very short appearence, my nickname is Edward among many of my friends, as a small note to everyone i warn you ahead of time i am a very heartless cruel b*****d so if i come off as being such just know it is not personal unless i specify it is.

Hullo, everybody. I believe I've already introduced myself, but as I haven't been on here in a while, and the few times that I do come on, everyone else is asleep...I'll do it again.
I am The Theif of Always, and you can call me Theif. I like Anita Blake books, because I am a big giant pervert, and am in love with Nathanial. I can't believe Anita...sleeping between Mikah and Thanny and never wanting them both at the same time...gosh.
Anyway. I live to love. I love to hurt. I hurt and hurt and hurt and hurt. And now that that emo babble is out of my system, I'd like to say that I'm getting the book "Mikah" as soon as I can, which prolly means that I'm going to be pre-ordering it from a Barnes&Noble in February.
...that is all.
wait, no. I love eggnog, and have recently found out that i'm lactose intolerant. ...I drink the eggnog anyway, and sick it back up in the bathroom....
I'm 18, and I got terribly shnookered at my boyfriend's house two states away and threw up and cried in front of his two brothers, his sister, and her ex. mrgreen
I'm also oversharing, because I know that the next time I get back to this fair guild, no one will remember what I have written here.

I'm new here. I'm not very good with intros, but here it goes. I started reading Guilty Pleasures when it first came out. I've read all of the books and love them all. I really like Anita; she rocks, if I was bi, I would seriously do her. She makes me proud to be short. I got into the Merry Gentry series, too. I love Merry, she's so cool. I forget how old I am, because I feel and look the same no matter my age has been. I have a little dog; she's so cute!

Hey. Winter_Sidhe here. New member and all around shibby guy. I was first introduced to Ms. Blake through a co-worker, who had been bugging me for several months to read Guilty Pleasures.
I finally gave in (around the Fall of 2002) and have been hooked ever since. And, if being hooked on an oversexed, corpse raising, vampire slaying, faux leopard queen wasn't enough, I discovered the Merry Gentry series (which is my favorite series to date).

yay i'm new. literally. you can call me gel. i haven't heard of this series until about early january this year and so far i've been devouring them like crazy. right now i'm in the middle of "Incubus Dreams" and i'm just really glad Nathaniel turned out to be such a cute/cool character. anyway, my favorite character would have to be jean-claude and asher. what can i say? i'm a sucker for vampires. and i just love the fact that their scars add to their perfection. it's just beautiful.
anyway, i love Anita Blake. she's just awesome. just a little firecracker and i love it. (<--me ish shy of 5'2)

Hey people ^-^. I'm 22, live on the west cost and LOVE these books. I have them all......including the Merry ones......and will keep buying them untill they end.....and then I'll cry. heart I first got into them when a friend read the first one and wonldn't shut up abut JC. So I read them....and now i love them. I think I'v read them so many times that I can go through entier chapters in my head..... ^-^

Heyo all. I'm Drake. I'm 22. i've actually only been reading the series for about a month now, but impressively i'm on my 6th book. I've absolutely fallen in love with the characters. My Husband turned me onto the series surprisingly enough.
He's only read the first one or two, so i can't spoil anything for him. I think once i get done with all the books the wait for the next one is going to kill me!

Hey, i'm Wolfweaver, my first look at the Anita Blake series was actually seeing book 2 in the book store. It took me several months to find book one cry but once i did i tore through them, and now i own all the current Anita Blake books, and the Merry Gentry.

Eh, I started reading Anita Blake when the ex-boyfriend of a friend told me about the books my junior year of high school and I have been crazy about them since. I can't wait tell the next book, and I have spread the love of Anita Blake to several of my other friends--though only myself and two of those four others are sticking through with it. But I am glad that I got into the books as they are just too cool.

I'm 23 and a fan on Anita Blake since 6 months. I stumbled upon Guilty Pleasures in my local library and got hopelessly addicted. Unfortunately the only other books available in my country at the moment are Circus of the Damned and Laughing Corpse. Until others come out I have to stick to ebooks. What I like the most about the series is Anitas attitude, she's almost as mean as I am. smile

Hey there! I'm Tai. Back in high school in my junior year, a friend of mine gave me some of her mother's old vampire books after she saw me reading anne rice and all that jazz. In that stack, I found the first three books in the anita blake series and have thusly become obsessed. XD I must say that having gotton my friends into the series has ended up rather ... interesting. We've all got the nicknames of the characters. My demeanor has landed me the part of Jean-Claude, my fiery redheaded friend as Anita, and our ferocious and well-built buddy Richard.
... I'll say nothing of the relationships therin.
Anyhow, I thought I'd join up and see what others had to say on the series. A pleasure meeting you all. smile

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a fine and enjoyable day. I'm Unlit_Silence but please call me Unlit. I'm in my Junior year of High School which means, I only have one more year to go. Woot! Anyway, I'm 17 and will be 18 in July. I've been on gaia for over a year now and love it to death. I've met some great people and hope to meet more.
I'm glad I found this guild since no one that I know of in my school really is as passionate to this series as much as I am so it kinda stinks when you're the only one jumping up and down with excitement because the next book is coming out or something awesome happens in the book. <-------Wow, very long sentence. haha
Anyway, with that said, and trying to stop myself from writing ten pages long of how awesome it is to find this guild and talk about Anita Blake and the other series, I shall take my leave. Nice to meet you all. =^.^=

Hi-yo! As the printing by my avie states, I'm Jiyu. It's my actual nic name off the net 3nodding I got into the Anita Blake series about a year ago when my assitant manager suggested I read it. (He had also suggested the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher which are awesome, so I took his advice whee Although I think he just wanted to see me blush when he'd walk into the backroom while I was on my breaks reading the naughty bits redface ) No matter his reasoning, the books are awesome!!! I've already caught up with the entire series and just finished reading Micah (which only took a few hours of reading... I read slow). So yeah, just looking forward to Danse Macabre and have even put myself into more pain by going to Ms. Hamilton's webpage and reading the first 3 chapters of it. I might break down and buy the hardback because I cannot wait the months it'll take for the paper backs to come out.
Anywho... I don't really have a favorite character... but I do have a love-hate thing going on with Richard. There are times when he is the most awesome guy in the world... and other times where I'd like to put a silver bullet through his head xp Que sera, sera...
Well, before I do anymore rambling, I'll bring this intro to a close. Pleasure to meet you guys and I look forward to discussing the books 3nodding
