I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.We are the couple who had the Realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn't have to always deal with society hating me.I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.I am the girl whose dad left her when he found out she was a bisexual. I am the child whose grandparents discovered I liked both genders- One screamed while the other asked if she loved me any less and didn't get a response.

Actually, I didn't tell YOU to keep your trap shut.

I just said you should think about what you are saying to someone before you say it. That, my dear, is NOT the same as what you told me.

Your newest comment was: "My comment was a request for you to rethink the bs that's been fed to you and go look at more facts. Didn't know that was such an abhorrent idea."

However, your original comment on 12-4-08 was "you'd best keep yer trap shut."

Thank you for the link you provided; however, I doubt it will change my mind on Obama in the slightest.

Of course the Socialist candidate is going to say that Obama is NOT a representative of the Socialist party. He calls him a Capitalist- but there is nothing capitalistic about "Share the wealth". That is a SOCIALIST ideal, not a capitalist one.

Oh, and I don't watch TV. I get my news from an all-news radio station, not Fox News or CNN.

The fact that there even was a sound clip (that you may think is "out of context" wink that was played by the liberal media (please don't try to convince me he wasn't THE media darling during the campaign) shows that even his "flawless" campaign couldn't protect him from his own spoken words. They were the exact words that he said, "Spread the wealth"- how can those be taken out of context, please?

Poor Joe the Plumber was torn to shreds by the media and the Obama-supporting side of the government after he called Obama out... how would you like to have been the one to have spoken up in something that you believed in (even if your facts weren't straight), and had your life ruined because of it? How does that support our First Amendment?

It seems more like a Facist State than a Democratic or Republican one. :

Anyway, I'm sure you will find people who are much more informed on this subject in the ED if you wish to continue to "put people in their place" for speaking out against Obama. I didn't pull you into this discussion- you came to me User Image I'm really not interested in continuing it since I'm obviously not as well informed as I would need to be in order to have any sort of debate about it (YES, I admit it; I don't know every little detail and fact... but I've got a feeling that neither do you).

I do have my opinions, and as I stated in my last comment you, you have yours, which I think is great. It's good to see people are actually thinking (and I really don't appreciate you telling me that I "look the fool" for stating my opinions- that's in really poor taste and shows immaturity).

I will stand by my opinion that I think that Obama is a Facist Socialist who is going to destroy the United States as we know it.

Now, only time will tell whether or not our country is in danger with this President Elect.

Just out of curiosity, are you even a legal citizen of voting age in the United States of America?

You know, for now, there is such a thing as Freedom of Speech (I don't know how much longer that Freedom will last User Image ), so telling me to keep my 'trap shut' is quite rude and uncalled for.

Your opinions differ from mine. That's the great thing about our country- if you even live in the US- we have the right to speak our minds.

IN MY OPINION, Obama is pushing for both Socialism and Communism. That's what "Share the wealth" means (and that's a direct quote from Obama).

Next time you want to berate someone for their opinions and beliefs, take a second to think about what you are posting.

It was the wicked and wild wind, blew down the doors to let me in.

Shattered windows and the sound of drums. People couldn't believe what I had become.
