Ora would look hard at her anger. Ora didn't particularly like yelling either, but she understood that it was the only thing keeping her from getting her brains kicked in. She looked at the tiny part of herself. It was kinda cute. Almost like a child. "I understand you want us to have a good life, however, I have to conceal who we are. If I let her out, then they'll know, and we'll be taken again. I can't deal with that." Fear would permeate from her. She was truly afraid of being experimented on again.
"As long as we stay strong, we will live on. Keep training, and we'll be stronger than ever." For Ora, everything was turning black. She didn't know what was going on.
Then she felt heaviness, something that she hadn't felt in a while. Her entire body ached, like she had been dragged around. However, she felt something on her face. She'd almost instantly scream, and go to remove it. As she was trying to remove it, she would cough up blood into it. She felt Dizzy. It didn't help that she couldn't see what was going on around her. She'd sit up, her ears ringing.

XXXWhat was the point of even processing it all anymore? Everything had broken down into utter chaos. Hundreds of ravages swarming the air madly, desperately trying to both escape the heat and cling onto any human they could get their claws on. Since the incident on the bridge, it seemed as if the bat-like creatures were avoiding Rachel. Was it out of instinctual fear for the clearly superior predator in every way? Unlikely. In fact, it seemed more evident that they were desperately trying to get away from the rampaging deathstalker that was now made exceptionally more dangerous with a burning shark mounted upon its back. Her crimson hues remain fixated on the creature below her, the deathstalker she had straddled at her mercy. Through the combined efforts that Rachel's tunnel vision was incapable of capturing, it appeared this wretched scorpion was going absolutely ballistic. Hefty, gargantuan claws like jagged boulders were swiping madly left and right, swinging the poor student wildly in the superheated environment. In the midst of Rachel's screams and hollers, however, she heard a familiar voice rattle against her eardrums. The voice of an albeit obnoxious student who tried to butt-in her suggestions where they were unwanted. A student who was far too cautious to get anywhere in this mess, but then again, perhaps if they had yielded that very caution they wouldn't have ended up in this mess. Very particular cords would strike a chord in her disaster of a brain, causing her to stare blankly as the deathstalker continued to whip them around like ragdolls. "Professor.. Anderson..?" She whispered behind her mask, her hate-filled hues becoming vacant, staring at the tip of the stinger. 'Professor.. Anderson.. Save...' It felt... Odd. It felt unpleasant. A conflicting sensation that made the very line of insanity she walked the edge of erratic and unstable. For just a moment, crimson hues would flicker to a vivid cyan. What... What exactly was she doing here? .. She was here to eat, to kill, just as she was always meant to. Who was that talking? .. A student... Why the hell was a student in a place like this? There was lava and monsters, and killers... Killers... She was here. That only meant one thing, that this student wasn't meant to make it out alive. That's how it always was, that's how it always would be. .. But.. Who was the student talking to, and why did that name sound so familiar? Anderson... Professor Anderson... There was a professor here? A professor from where, an academy? .. The academy? .. Didn't she always want to go to an academy? What was it called... It was Shade, right? .. No, it was another academy. But she did want to go, right? That was right, it had to be... Her teeth were the talk of the town, scarier than any Grimm. Ready to bite, to rend... to kill... As desperately as Rachel tried to cling to that memory, someone embedded a primal instinct above all else into her... She needed to eat something, to kill someone. Be it that student, Feathers, Zaffre, or even.. This grimm. In that moment, her hues flickered crimson again.
The jostle of the deathstalker helped bring her back to reality as it teetered closer to the edge. Her burning arm had gone limp, the intensity of the flames in her veins leaving her nerves completely shot. Even if she wasn't reacting to the pain herself, her arm could only take so much. It was left smoldering, the dust in her shoulder dull and expended of its properties. That being the case, she was far from out of the running. The chain of the anchor remained tightly woven around her limp, left hand, the embedded fangs cutting and anchoring into her flesh. With her legs tightly locked around the tail, she'd lean down and sink her teeth into the segmented carapace. Even if it was too hard for her to bite into, she'd anchor herself in place with the natural grooves of the armor. Of course, this strained many of her teeth, some of which already popping free. Anchored in place, though, she'd clench her right fist to activate her Nomz Vambrace, causing a series of enameled pieces to emerge from the wrist of her vambrace. The woman was distinctly growling as she continued to flex her fingers, activating the burst fire mechanism of the vambrace. This would fire continued, shotgun-like bursts of 10 teeth at a time directly at the stinger; specifically, it was aimed at the connecting segment. Rachel was trying to cut off its stinger, one way or another. If that stinger fell, the weight of it would surely knock the deathstalker down a peg or two. A bonus would be, of course, is if the stinger landed tip down into the deathstalker itself. As for a way to actually get off the teetering beast... Rachel hadn't thought that far ahead yet. In fact, she wasn't thinking at all.
- - - - Hearing Vance called back to Lunia was all she needed to know he would be okay, he was a capable hunter and she had faith in him - she just wanted to protect anyone she liked from harm. Standing back up, Lunia felt a sharp pain go through her shoulder, she looked at the blood on the ground beside her and then focused on the task at hand. "Where are you..." she thought to herself, looking around her.
Lunia was just quick enough to react to the first attack from the demon she was fighting, she placed her hand down at the impact area and created a short burst of aura that was only strong enough to repel his weapon. However, the next attack would firmly blow her backwards as she let out a groan, landing on her side close to the others. Everything began going to hell, so much was going on that Lunia didn't know where to go or what to do. As she went to get herself up, a male with bright violet eyes appeared beside her, handing her what only looked like some sort of bomb. She didn't get a chance to thank him or ask him what he was doing before he disappeared into the fog. Gripping the bomb she had been given, Lunia could see the villain in plain sight. She managed to gather her energy to stand and looked to him, before she was distracted by the shouting of Narx - he was trying to get them into the lab, Lunia knew this was the only way. She threw the bomb directly at the demon and began to run towards the others, this wasn't a fight she could continue for now, the smoke would hopefully create an opening for the others to get away. Lunia could see Vance, Ora and Lena. "Let's go! Follow Narx's voice!" she yelled, coughing a little as it became dark and more difficult to breathe. She looked at Ora's body and a sharp pain again arrived at her shoulder, but now was not the time to worry about herself. "You take one shoulder and I'll take the other?" she said to Vance, as she got her good shoulder and wrapped Ora around it, waiting to see if her teammate could help carry her - if he couldn't, Lunia would drag the Goat faunus herself to the lab. "Narx! We're coming!" she yelled, to answer his yells for other students.

It was unfortunate that the boy managed to land such a hit on the machine; it was a loss of value. A hefty neat from a mighty hammer would surely knock a few components loose, but not enough to stop what was once top of the line Atlesian tech. Only thrown off by a few feet with a large dent that matched the impression of the hammer, the machine was quickly able to retaliate and blow the student right off his feet with a vial of wind dust. The student was good, but he was no huntsman. Perhaps in different circumstances, the student could pose more of a threat, but as it stood, even outnumbered, these students were outmatched. Perhaps not in power, but the experience. A madman, an assassin, and a mastermind with two machines as puppets... And a horde of Grimm to top it all off. There was a method to the madness, and at this point, the students had lost this battle. There were overpowered, overrun, unable to do much more than scramble to safety desperately while clinging onto one another. It showed just how far Beacon still had to go before they could produce a prime example of a huntsman, something that the man behind the machine eagerly awaited. This batch, however, did not have what he was looking for.
In the midst of chaos, the machine caught a glimpse of both the posing Darius and Akuryo. It seemed it was finally time to make their grand escape, and of course, the machine itself was left behind. How distasteful, but understandable. Ghost was the most mobile of them, and frankly, Akuryo had a very specific set of skills, and it seemed like tactile retreat wasn't among them. The two of them grappled away, while its own counterpart paged in that it was setting up an escape route for them... A gravity field with an explosion of purple dust in the air above, granting them a smooth transition away. Perhaps that was its cue, but there was ... One thing left it wanted to do. Smoke acted a shield for many a student to hopefully hide from the violence of the ravagers, but it wasn't enough to obscure the machine. Hanging from the ceiling, the machine stood tall as it watched them through the smoke. This blue-haired student, Lunia, was trying to keep them together. She was able to fend off one of its counterparts well enough to escape, distancing herself with a surge of aura in order to go to their aid. ... To their dismay, however, their very beacon of hope may soon become another tragedy on their part. It was that same loud, obnoxious student who not only hindered their plans but damaged the machine. He was bold but reckless. Caught up in the moment, unable to properly analyze his surroundings. He called for the others to follow him, but to what? An isolated chamber where they could be safe, where they could seal themselves away from the ravagers? Now... Wouldn't that be too easy? Sabotaging their mission, stripping military files, procuring artifacts of mysterious origin. That was all fine and dandy, but where was the excitement? Where was... The bang? This man, this machine, had one final gift for these students. One last obstacle to overcome amidst the Grimm, as well as a final departure to them. It turned to the smokey corridor and raised its rifle. A laser sight flashed briefly through the smoke, following the corridor into the vault room that was left open. In the farthest distance, for those capable of seeing through the smoke, there was the faintest red glow. .. A departing gift left behind by a mysterious Ghost, and it was up to the Revenant to see that it was delivered. "This was amusing, to say the least. Your performance, however, was subpar. Do try again. " Metallic digits gripped the trigger as a flash of red sparked in the chamber of the rifle. It wasn't just a bullet, but a burning red bullet that represented the very element of dust that was left in the vault. They were meant to burn. The bullet would whizz through the corridor over the student's heads, and past the ravagers, into the vault with a hazy burst shot. Surely a bullet hitting would trigger the dust to explode, but in the off chance it missed, that's what the fire dust was for. A smaller burst to trigger a bigger explosion. The machine wouldn't stick around to see what came of its fired bullet into the chamber. With its gunshot, it would flip out from the doorframe of the decontamination chamber. Now on the outerwall, with the bit of gravity dust it had left flickering over its body, it would kick off into the air to float into the sky. ... That wouldn't be enough to catch up with its comrades now, would it? No, it had one burst of wind dust left in it's chamber, it it certainly intended to use it. Holding the same palm that it used to blast Narx back, a surge of green aura would spark before releasing another burst of wind. This time, unanchored, it would propel the lightweight machine into the air above the cavern, gaining speed to catch up with its comrades as it entered the gravity veil of dust. From there, the machine would simply cruise along in the sky, allowing the momentum to carry its weightless form over the molten lake, just as its comrades had done. Of course, the machine was ready if someone attempted to bring them down from the sky with a rifle in hand. It, however, was far too high out of reach for normal means and moving fast. The only real risk were ravagers, which it was prepared to gundown without hesitation. Surely, this was their escape.
'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo cursed as she managed to block the blade with her sudden aura, a good defense as it uses only the necessary amount without constantly using aura. But because the weapon of choice was a scalpel with the blade mostly consisting of the gravity dust, it instead was set off, effecting both of them as he managed to lift her up and throw her. He couldn't see but he could hear a loud thud before he grinned, yet he felt something, someone tugging at him. He was floating off the ground just momentarily before he was pulled away from the confrontation just as the smoke cleared up. He could see his target, holding a cyan canister as he narrowed his eyes. "What are *cough* you doing?!" He stated inbetween his coughs but then he saw her straight up throwing the very same canister back at them. His eyes glared, but he now understood the situation, he was quick enough to reach into his jacket, pull out a strange looking knife with a strange paper wrapped around the handle.
It soared over the canister she threw, it wasn't aimed at Lunia, but it wizzed passed her as she ran towards her allies, going straight into the lab as it lodged itself into the steel floor. Meanwhile, Akuryo used his throwing hand to instead catch the canister smoothly within a sheathing motion so as to not violently shake it. He soon heard a small gunshot-like sound as he looked back to Darius. "Wait, you're not going to." Soon, he felt his arm wrap around him and with the gravity dust on him wearing off, he had to run with Darius as they fell. Akuryo.....was not one for this, and instead his arms were wrapped around the villain as he glared at him. While they swung towards the wall, Akuryo re-activated his aura to avoid falling debris and severe heat burning. Once they were close to the wall, he began to use his feet as well to help Darius move so that he wasn't the one doing all the work. He brought one hand back, his right hand, to search through his pockets before he soon said. "I have two gravity scalpels left, just tell me where to throw!" He shouted at the man, following his directions as he would use both to help speed up their escape from both the magma below, and the students behind!

It was easy to lose track of Lena, seeing her size as a factor. With the Ravagers now focused on Vance the insect sprung into action. Jetting up she’d land on Lunia's shoulder. Firing streaks of plasma from her friends should. Out of the remaining few Grimm her first shot hit, the second missed. Grumbling she focused up, the next streak killing two. Three more Grimm were down, and with a deep breath another streak would hit its mark. Four had been killed in her firing. She'd look to Lunia and give a small salute. "I can keep you guys covered, but I’m not strong enough to lift Ora." Making sure to shout so her voice could be heard. "You can do this Lunia!"
Thing just kept getting worse for Vance as he had taken three of the for bat like Grimm that came to attack him, but he had a feeling that the worse was yet to come. He had armed the yellow ink that was now in his brush as his plan was to use the splatters of as a conductor that if more Grimm did show up, they were going to be in for quite a shock. However as if signaled by that thought alone, nine more joined in to attack the boy, making it a total of ten that moved to slash with their talons. His aura prevent the bats from making gashes into his body, but he would come out of with a lot of scratches and his clothes were most likely going to need replacements. As he swiped back with his blade, Vance moved to splash ink on the ceiling of the hallway as he prepared to strike back at the Grimm. While he did this, he swore that he had saw someone run past them into the volcanic area from the lab. Though he was confused, the boy had to focus and once the last glob of the yellow ink landed, the sparking liquid began their dance of electricity. The ink would claim it's first victim when he felt movement behind him, meaning that Ora was wake up. The sparks help Vance see the girl, but he then saw his team leader land into the hallway with them.
The screeching of the bats and the sounds of the sparks had dulled his hearing, but following the actions of his captain, he moved to the other side Ora and helped moved her into the lab. Once past the smoke, the boy saw the person that was fighting the robot motioning for them to come over to him, with a worried look on his face. Though they were out of the hallway, he still heard the dancing of sparks near him, and wondered if his ears got damaged. This wasn't the case, and with the help of Lena's attacks and the dancing of the sparks, the bats would vaporize and the people would be partly safe. He didn't know everything that was going on or why all this was happening, but he had to help in anyway he could. So, the boy would help Lunia bring her friend over to where Narx, now wondering what was going to happen next. Would an even bigger Grimm appear to wipe them out, did the enemies leave a trap for them, or was the volcano about to erupt? Ideas kept popping in his head as his bag was about to fall of his shoulder, because the strap had finally given out, but Vance was able to catch it by bringing his arm to his chest. He had his ink in there as well as something the could be even more important, the scroll the user had thrown at him.

Damn. Of course, her shot missed, given her current situation. If only she hadn't been so terrible at close range combat. Held as she was, in the Deathstalkers claw her scythe would be hardly better than the rifle. Simply put, she couldn't put her body weight into it or gain any momentum. The strength of her arms alone wouldn't be enough. Azura was going to have to be rescued. She looked to her mostly likely saviour, Professor Anderson. Things didn't seem very hopeful there. The Professor had gained a vacant look, her eyes flashing between the crimson of the bloodlust monster who had nearly killed them, and the natural blue hue. It was a wonder, and perhaps a bit frightening that even in that state, the Deathstalker hadn't managed to shake her free. "Professor, snap out of it!" She shouted. She wasn't sure if the actions she witnessed next were those of her combat Professor or that of a bloodthirsty shark. If her sides weren't already aching from her draining aura, Azura's teeth would have hurt in empathy, watching Anderson bury hers into the Deathstalker.
"Screw it! Azura! When it let's go lodge your scythe in the wall! Use it as a foothold and we'll get you!" Adam! The normally observant girl had missed everything else in the chamber. For the last several seconds there had been her, Professor Anderson and the Deathstalker. "Right!" She shouted back, flicking the switch to transform Crimson Regret into scythe mode. She had no idea ow her teammates were going to free her, but now wasn't the time to be asking questions. She had to simply trust Cecil and Adam had come up with a plan. The trust was put to the test when a rock went hurling by her and into the Deathstalker's claw. A move that only seemed to make it angry as it lifted her even higher. She clung onto her weapon as if it were a lifeline that was going to somehow save her. And then, she was floating.
No, not floating. Falling. Wild-eyed, Azura looked around, but she was much too far away from the rock wall. Crimson Regret would never reach. She didn't have time to get her last remaining raw dust out of her bag, and didn't know what shooting an ice bullet into the lava would do. Her mind raced, desperately trying to find a solution while gravity took over and she began falling towards the lake of lava. The rising steam took over where the Deathstalker left off, eating away at her protective aura. She couldn't tell what physical damage was being done, but it hurt. A lot. She was screaming as she fell, though not totally aware of it.
Suddenly the wind was knocked from her lungs. Her teeth clamped together painfully as her decent was brought to a jarring stop. Something sharp bit into her back. But, she was no longer falling. "You bloody bint! You better hang on or so help me I'll be the one screaming my head off at you!!!" In another situation, she might have pointed out that she would be dead if she didn't hang on. Instead, all she could do was grit her teeth and hang on. She placed the handle of Crimson Regret across the blade of Cecil's ice scythe, creating a sort of pseudo handlebar for her to hold on to. "ALL OF YOU BETTER F#*!ING RUN OR SO HELP ME! WE WILL ALL DIE HERE!" Later she would have time to be shocked and hearing him yell and swear. For now, she was too busy trying not to die. After what felt like an eternity and an instant at the same time, her feet touched the ground. Azura stumbled a few steps forward before regaining her balance.
Her skin was red in patches, lightly burned from her near acquaintance with the lava below. She was fairly certain her legs got the worst of it. Her clothes were likewise singed in a few places. Across her back was a thin red line where Cecil's ice scythe had managed to cut her, though the wound would have been much worse without her aura protecting her. Yet, for all her injuries, she was gloriously alive. "Y-you saved me." She said with a shaky breath, being a bit thankful her knees didn't give out upon landing. Appreciation and romanticisms would need to wait though. The room was pure chaos, and this wasn't a Remtube movie where all the ravengers would politely wait while she and Cecil made out. Instead, azure eyes quickly scanned the room assessing the situation. Danea was diving after Charlotte, Darius and two others she didn't know were running out of the vault (where did they find another robot?) and Professor Anderson was still wrestling with the Deathstalker, seemed completely oblivious to anything that was happening around her. "Professor Anderson is still on the Deathstalker." She had just tried to kill them, but could they really leave her behind?
She didn't trust Darius. His story didn't add up. But with his grapple hook and gravity dust, he was the best person to reach their professor. "Darius! Can you pull the professor off the Deathstalker!?" She shouted towards him, while pointing in the direction of the professor. If he said no, they would have to tie one of their ropes to Crimson Regret and have Adam throw it at the rock wall in a makeshift grappling rope, but she would rather not risk her weapon, and there would still be the issue of someone going across to grab their teacher unless Danae was able to grab a second person.
Azura activated her semblance, focusing on Professor Anderson. A strange symbol would appear on the back of the Professors left hand. The cacophony would become muted to the Megalodon, while a single voice could be heard. "Professor Anderson... Rachel...it's time to go. You will die if you don't leave now." It felt wrong, calling a Professor by their first name, but Azura hoped it would help cut threw the Professor's thoughts and bring her back to reality.

"Nice, Cecil!" he praised. A huge weight was off of Adam's shoulder now that Azura was free from the grips of the Deathstalker. With things the way they are now it was an absolute priority to get to safety. Cecil shouted louder than Adam ever expected. "Did he rip a vocal chord?" the thought aloud. "Cecil's right! I've never used this technique before, but now is as good a time as any!" he said. Adam took a huge breath and his body bulked up. Veins spread pulsed and his heartbeat hastened. He began to sweat a more and more and he continued his breathing exercise. With one more breath, his body returned to normal, but his legs looked a bit enlarged. He took off in a sprinters dash after is feet explode off the ground. "Let's hotfoot it outta here, Cecil! Azura!" he shouts as he heads for the door. "Do it until your lungs feel as if they're on fire and keep going!" he yelled. His feet thundered against the ground as he quickly made his way to safety. Ravagers swarmed the boy as he trekked. He ducked under one that tried to slice him before gaining his footing to kick another out of his way. A few more clawed at him, but Adam jumped as he spun horizontally between their talons. "Heh, suckahs!" he exclaimed after going into a roll. He resumed his sprint and leap-frogged over another Ravager. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't enjoying himself, but he also knew this was a horrible situation and he and his team had to get out of here. If he died... who would fill the void of Chocolate Thunder and all of his handsomeness? No one. That's who. His breathing was getting a bit more ragged. Being in a volcano certainly didn't help, but he had to keep going. Little by little safety was coming into clear view he was almost there! Through fire and flame! Through flesh-tearing teeth and talons he and his team will make it out of there! Besides, he has ice cream he's gonna trick Azura into buying.

Narx kept on yelling to his allies. Giving them a beacon to direct their path. His cuts were already healing a bit, but he was covered in tiny blood streaks still. His clothing eviscerated. "OVER HERE!!!" he yelled. Then he saw Vance, Ora, Lena, and Lunia all make their way over."Quick get in!" There was a long hallway directly forward, to their side was a damaged control room with an open case where those canisters used to be.
"The air might be better back there, someone should go check." He said unsure, most likely the caustic air had infiltrated the whole building, but surely there was some more airtight rooms somewhere down the hall. There had to be, or Ora would surely suffer. His normally calm mind turning for the worse."Where is everyone else?" He asked looking to Lunia, then Lena, and Vance. He really wanted to know where Danaë was more than anyone, but team DARK was his other favorite team that he had bonded with, everyone he cared for was still out there it seemed."WHERE ARE THEY?!" He shouted abrutply, anger and panic rising. He grabbed Vance by the collar instinctively, but quickly released him realizing he was in panic mode. The rocks outside were something of nightmares. There was no way anyone could survive long in it.

[Scene: The interior of a volcano, cylindrical cavern, along one edge is a series of uneven cliffs by which metal scaffolding has been erected to form a series of small bridges. It looks very makeshift, some edges with railing, and others without. At the end a large and advanced looking metal door with a vault-like appearance stands connected to the wall.
The vault-like door is extremely thick and durable. It has definitely been here longer than the bridges that lead up to it. Two dead bodies, female students, lie just before it. The cliff edge before the door is a decent sized rocky platform that extends 40 feet out and 60 feet wide roughly. Giving plenty of space. Inside is a decontamination room. Solid metal walls. Very durable. Shower heads up high, a drain in the center of the floor, and beyond that a small antechamber leading to the lab. A single elongated window (extremely strong/volcanic resistant), and a thick metal door with a wheel-lock device to secure it.
Dark fumes waft up from the bubbling lava below. The air is caustic and anyone not wearing a gas mask will suffer from dizziness, and pass out within a matter of a few posts and die within 12.

CHAOS ENSUES
Many people were far too busy to be paying attention to the escaping villains, but anyone who was paying attention would notice a yellow canister slip from the grip of one of the villains only to topple down into the magma filled chamber below. It spun elegantly, almost in slow motion, before it finally hit the broiling sea of orange.
A blast of wind erupted in all directions. It crashed into everyone not protected. Not one, not two, but three lightning bolts zapped random places along the cavern. Tearing into the earth and causing more rocks to come raining down on anyone not inside the vault, but now with a thunderous roar of hell itself. [For each post NOT INSIDE THE VAULT, this round, and all others in the future, roll 1d10, you get hit by that many small rocks and have your post count reduced by that much until the end of the mission. If your post count hits 0, you pass out. This applies to all character inside the volcanic cavern. You must roll in this topic, or your number will be doubled.]. The explosion of hot air slammed everyone in the cavern with sizzling hot air and enough force to knock anyone over who was not securely planted on the ground. BOOM! The sound of the shock-wave came after, hitting like an angry rhinoceros. Clearly the cavern had now been driven beyond its structural durability. The magma below had waves like that of water in a bucket being hastily carried. large cracks could be seen forming in the ceiling of the cavern as rocks of various sizes plummeting below. The only saving grace at this time was that the volcano wasn't actually erupting. Though, there was no guarantee it wouldn't.
Rachel ▬ Rachel's attack would successfully sever the stinger off the scorpion. The sound was sickening as the now giant chunk of flesh disintegrated into dust and threw the creature even more off balance. Its claw, slammed hard into the wall in an attempt to desperately regain control. The beast started to topple off the cliff. It felt as if the world was in slow motion since it was such a large creature. Its legs scrambling for any sort of friction they could get. The beast couldn't hold on though. It slid right off the edge, but before it hit the lava, only a few feet above it, its other claw grabbed onto a portion of the cliff wall. Halting its descent. The claw was slipping though. several inches every other second. The beast hissed with fury as its other claw desperately reached back to try and take hold of Rachel. Clamping and snapping out her. Whatever her next move was, the creature was going to inevitably fall into the magma.
Azura, Cecil, & Adam ▬ Cecil would successfully save Azura, but they would immediately feel the impact of a large boulder exploding as it struck ground a few feet away. The deathstalker wasn't far away either and one of its huge claws would swing past them forcing them to duck, before it slammed into the wall. This was right before the creature toppled over the edge, and with it, a large chunk of the land that made up a valuable piece of the bridge. There was no going back the way they came.
▬ OUTER LABORATORY REGION ▬
[Still inside Vault, and this safe from 1d10 post reduction of falling rocks]
Lunia, Vance, Ora, and Lena ▬ The smoke bomb was starting to subside, but it was still too thick to see anything clearly. No new Ravagers seemed to be entering the area as the chaos of stone hail outside seemed to be finishing them off quite nicely. Lena was able to successfully splatter any ravagers that came their way, a few of them attacking from above still. Vance would notice the walls of the contamination room start to warp and bend. It was only slight, but it showed that there was substantial damage to the integrity of the structure. Lunia would notice the immediate room inside the laboratory was sparking and damaged beyond repair. Lots of sharp metal exposed, whereas the hallway was dark, but undamaged.
Danaë felt a sensation that she had never felt before. It was if something was curling it's way around her leg, moving up, and around her waist. She wanted to shiver, but she had successfully saved the scorpion girl, even if she wasn't completely comfortable with how she was being held. The stingers were close to her stomach. Wait, stingers? Didn't scorpions only have one stinger? That didn't matter right now. What mattered was getting out of the area.
Suddenly, the wind under them would pick up under her wings. She had to ride the airflow up, or else the wings might collapse under the air pressure. Her heart was beating like a hummingbird's. She would look up, making sure to not get too close to the top. Then the cave seemed to shake in anger. She then saw a few bolts of lightening. What in her mother's feathered tits was happening? Rocks would then start to fall, Danae would do her best to dodge them on her end.
She would fly over to where she saw team Dark. Just as she was to them, fighting the currents, she saw the death stalker start to tumble along with the teacher. She would try to get there faster, she would flap her arm wings as much as she could. Today was definitely arm day. She would set down Charlotte, "I'll get the Professor, quick, run." Just as she said that, a small rock would hit her on the head, causing blood to come from it. However, the owl girl looked serious, as she would pull her wings behind her, going into a dive. If Rachel fell, she would put out a leg for the teacher to grab. Was this a stupid idea? Very much so, but she would fight against this currents as much as she could.

The students were in chaos, separated, and disorganized. They had little to no one actually trying to stop their progress. One of the robots had given them a veil of gravity dust to help make this travel easier and swifter. The other was, somehow, above and seemed to be making more headway than them even. Akuryo, while not happy, was with him as they used the wall and his grapple to bridge the gap and was even using the wall to run to help keep them going swiftly. Even offering a pair of gravity scalpels to be used if needed, though so far it did not seem so. Momentum, his grapple line, and the gravity dust from one of the droids seemed to have made this travel a breeze. He heard his name called, and looked to see one of the students he had spoken with earlier calling for him to help the professor who was fighting a grimm and was running out of land. 'Does she still think I am on her side?' He wondered to himself silently. He was about to yell to her in response, no point in letting a perfectly good disguise go to waste, when the canister that had loosened itself from his bag earlier hit the lava. And then, everything was thrown into further chaos. A large blast of wind shot forth in all directions, and three lightning bolts crashed into the rocks of the cavern above. The cavern was filled with the deafening sound of thunder as rocks freely rained from the ceiling. And during all this...Ghost, and Akuryo if he held on, would be flung high up in the air due to the searing winds. Several rocks, during this uncontrollable motion, would crash into Ghost as he began to bleed lightly in several areas. Ghost would've used the green sword to cut his grapple line so he didn't risk breaking his arm from when it would've tried to stop his momentum from the wind. Given they were in air with gravity dust...the winds effects had been particularly harsh. Ghost's student uniform was torn in several areas now from being cut along the wall, as they were now on the side of the cavern they desired...but much higher than expected. "Wait till we are near the ground, and throw both daggers at once beneath us. If it is timed right, the gravity burst should be enough so we can land mostly intact." He would tell Akuryo urgently as the wind died down...and gravity took hold of the two.
While he had been entertaining the idea of helping the professor, it was plain to see Darius/ Ghost had other things to worry about as he plotted a landing with Akuryo. On the one hand, that explosion had helped them make it all the way across. On the other...it now left them with having to worry about an impromptu landing. And...looking to the ceiling, Ghost would see the large cracks appearing as rocks continued to rain down. "The cavern isn't going to last much longer. Get to the vault or back through the tunnels quickly!" He would yell to those near enough to hear him, figuring he may as well keep up his disguise at this stage as things were very up in the air. At this stage, it was going to be every person for themselves in regards to the students if they wanted to survive. Assuming Akuryo followed through, the gravity dust from the scalpels would hit the ground just before they would as well as for a moment they would feel a burst of gravity just beneath them...before they would hit the ground. Ghost would be ready and brace himself, focusing all his aura defensively as he had his arms in front of him (but tight to his body) to protect his head. He would hit the ground, hard, as his aura near gave away from that blow alone as he bounced up due to the dust used....before crashing back down and skidding a bit. Stifling a groan, Ghost pushed himself to his feet and looked back to see where Akuryo, the droids, or anyone else was...before looking at the tunnel they had come through initially. He would move to the tunnel entrance, and usher whoever else was here through (be it student, villain, or robot). "This way! We are almost through." He would yell to them, being partially in the cover of the tunnel to avoid the falling of rocks. ☽☾☽☾ Post count: ??? Cecil was in the process of running with the rest of team dark before he had to stop both of them as a large rock descended down near them, crashing into the ground before them as the shockwave was definitely troublesome to deal with. He cursed before he turned to see the deathstalker that had been chasing them swing at them. He ducked, making sure Azura and Adam did as well before he stood up to see the bridge had been destroyed. The path to freedom taken from them by the Deathstalker as he looked over to see the sight of magma below. He cursed but as he looked along the sides he could see some remaining rocks that hadn't been taken by the deathstalker but the istance was far from safe. "Adam, Azura..... it seems to only damn path we can take..." He started before he looked and pointed to the wall as he soon said. "Is going to be scaling that wall. Have you both been keeping up with your pull ups?" He asked of them as he had to undo his scarf, realizing that he had to expose himself to the heat to power through it. He looked forward just to see Danae immediately dive bomb as he cursed and soon shouted. "Don't die Birdgirl!" It was something he called her back in the days of Sigil whenever it was physical practice day.
Just as he moved over to the wall to begin testing the stone structure, he could hear another voice, causing him to look up as he could see the two men in the process of a free fall, their words reaching his ears as he cursed before he soon said. "We gotta move fast! If these things start to fall use your weapons or something to wedge and move!" He told them both as he took a deep breath, waiting for them before he started to wall climb with his aura up, but namely around his hands and legs to prepare himself. As he was in the process of moving along the wall as some of the rocks fell, most of them missing him but a good few managed to hit his left shoulder. It was a minor nuisance but his aura did deflect a good portion of the damage so he thought it to be fine.

Akuryo remained with the being known as Ghost as they continued to move, each step getting closer to freedom before.... something slipped. A yellow canister fell from their grasp, and Akuryo cursed himself as his left hand had been having trouble keeping grip due to his previous fight, he could ownly assume while holding onto the man that his left hand slipped on the finger tips. He was soon flung HIGH into the air! His memories flashing before his eyes as he was thinking he was going to die as they were sent rocketing into the damn sky due to the volcanic air from below as he held on tight to the man. Gaydar be damned because Akuryo knew who he was and this was very uncomfortable to be in. Akuryo could feel Ghost's unusual movement and before he could respond, he was assailed by the same rocks, using his aura to defend as much as possible as one of them managed to hit his left hand. His left hand resumed bleeding from it's still healing scars as Akuryo held back a cry of pain. He toughed it out, holding on still as the sound of cutting could be heard, Akuryo seeing the grapple line being cut. "Are you crazy?!" He asked as they began their descent towards the hard ground below, at a speed and height that could kill them. He heard the plan as Akuryo glared at him but nodded, readying the two blades.
"This..... Better.... WORK!" He shouted at Darius before he flung the daggers just as they were 30 feet away from connecting to the ground with the cave mouth, with Ghost bracing himself as Akuryo remembered his time back in the day. He kept his feet first and knees bent as he landed, letting the momentum carry him down as he threw his body forward, tucking into a roll as he took the brunt of the damage to his feet, right shoulder, right shoulder blade, and back even with his aura but he bounced off during his finishing roll to land on his feet. He stumbled on his feet for a second, grunting as his aura was fading in and out now before he shook his head and began to follow the student, his crimson eyes looking to the others, his jacket partially torn as he shouted. "You heard this crazy man! Get a damn move on! This Volcano is gonna blow!" He shouted at them, thankful the information between the two groups was so divided that no one on this side knew who he was, yet they had some idea who Ghost's fake identity was.
