Okay so instead of going through pms I believe it would be healthier if we all discuss things here.

ok, so far.

Samantha will need help to beat the demon.
But in the end she must beat the demon (deal the killing blow) so that her cursed arm gets the demon. So that she acquires the timeline exclusive skill for her.


Now. Both, Samantha and Melani, have a Demon in their souls.

While Melani is dealing okay with it due to her training.
Samantha would struggle with the demon as inside her soul there wouldn't be much people that can help her.

My thoughts.

I think that once samantha get's the new arm it would be just like Blackstar's dealing with the Masamune blade.

She has yet to master it. But dealing with the demon is just too much for herself at the moment. Leading to her being nearly absorbed by the demon many times. But Illo's misty powers severs the conection between the demon an her so that she releases the seal little by little as she unlocks the strength to beat the demon.

So, Illo would help her with a special training to strengthen her soul.
Particularly to LVL up the Sparrow impaler skill to lvl 2
In this timeline that should be enough to take care of the demon and harness it's power.

What are your thoughts?

I don't think she would go that far unlike Melani.
Just simple exercises to strengthen her soul.

Like how Stein treated Blackstar.
he wasn't 24/7 to look after him by rather gave him an exercise he could repeat over and over (that jar thingie that drains soul wavelength)

Besides Illo doesn't have time to train her in the order of Phoenix.
He must make sure they can be as strong as they can for the battle that will unfold within a week.

Being the senior there, he must see how to maximize he time he has. So, I believe giving small exercises that focus on everyone's strong points would be better.

you know. Stronger soul for Samantha so she can use the arm. Plus some tips for speed and damage. Since she place more of a risky assassin like role.

Donovan is a little more complicated due to his wide array of offensive/defensive capabilities.
Make him meditate, so he can become more creative. Creativity will be his strongest weapon.

And for Emit, he's already crazy strong but is worn out easily.
Train him to be tough. To be able to withstand heavy hits.
This would mean he would get to spar directly with the Iron Phoenix.

Make Emit a tank and he will become the team's Juggernaught.
he can draw everyone's attantion and withstand the hits while steal dealing dons of damage and creating oppenings for more frail members like Samantha to get in and deal damage on the foes.


And most important of all. Teach them team work, since that would be something they will need during the war as Illo won't be able to help them with the Dark Phoenix around.
And Umbra would also have his hands tied trying to contain the Queen.

So, the strongest ones of the group are tied up and it's up to the students to take on the rest of the invasion.

I'm fine with that but let's see what does Relms have to say

The move of the black crow the demon used is an alterated copy of Samantha's Soul impaling force.

Soul Impaling Force
LVL 1
Soul Impaling Force is her main attack while Lvl one it forms a Bird as she fires it. the blade comes out of Right hand's palm. this attack shoots rather fast, this attack does absolutely no outer damage which is why it its called "Impaling". this attack goes and pierces through the body, all the pain comes from the inside where it hits. these attacks go through living beings so it can hit multiple people if they are in the path.


Which means the attack would still reach Samantha even if Illo blocked it.

as long as its not this simple yet focus like thing such extingishing flames with the force of wind and such id be fine with it,

that should work
