The fantasies of crispy crunchy meat products was short lived, a dream that came and went, taking his desires with it when Damien came back into the present, sitting on the floor like a lump.
the pat on the shoulder was encouraging, the brisk, chilling feeling of fear washing over his tingling skin from the ebony ghoul was refreshing, enough to give the hellhound that second wind he needed and get up off his feet. "That's not half bad, thanks!" thanking the ghoul and swishing his tail with newfound vigor.
EVERYONE WAS SO HELPFUL RIGHT NOW. teamwork was amazing.

Steffani swung again at the creature, but this one just barely nicked it. And Steff took the hit from the shadow boss just as hard, grimacing as she moved back.

It was going on long enough, the weary were piling up, as far as damien could tell, himself included, they need this to be done.
The ghoul that was trying to beat it down was really going all out. and here he was moaning about bacon. It was time to get his boil card back. and rip it right from the bug eyed beasts body to boot.
"Just lay down and Play dead!" the movement was a reaction, the lunge that was just the blade guiding the hounds actions, and past the shadowling that had been plaguing them all here. All the while the moves that were used was from far away, the shift in battle placement was jarring, a rush of wind and the blade went through with little resistance.
It had to be over from that, it just had to. The legs gave way one again when the stamina left him wobbly and feeble. "Did I get him?" It was a stupid question, but he just had to be sure and hear it from someone else, pleading with big, green hopeful eyes.

"I had no intentions of dying." There was a reason he had hid behind the other students. Andrew did however take the cookie and watch as the other students killed the beast. He would have helped, he just... was too tired. Expending that much energy all at once was too much, not to mention there were dogs over there.
The one he had been arguing with earlier killed the beast. It was dead. good he could take a break... hopefully. He munched his cookie feeling quiet and a bit better.

Efflo glared back over his shoulder, “I don’t want to kiss anyone! Why don’t you kiss him? You’re the one that won’t shut up about it!!”
He turned his attention back to the boss, but as it turned out, there was no need. A valiant group had teamed together and landed the finishing blow and the boss was dissipating. Wow, was all he could think. He was impressed! That brown-haired boil was so strong. He slumped a bit when he thought of his own pitiful attacks in comparison.
But the boss was dead so… Could he leave now? Finally? All he wanted to do was find somewhere quiet and ignore everyone, maybe curl up for a nap. The undead horse turned in his heel, dragging the stupid heavy keyblade along and headed towards the nearest exit. A stray foot may or may not have kicked out at Gabby as he passed. Stupid smug student.

Danny gave a shout as she was tossed onto some heartless, effectively crushing them as she fell. Well, that was one way of defeating them!
"Stupid puppy, you-" She cut off as she realized Demi had defeated the last one. Actually, it probably wasn't the last one, but she could dream. Either way, she bopped him on the head with her (flaming) keyblade lightly, in a completely playful manner. "Good going puppy!"

Seeing the large beast go down, Maple couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. Her body visible relaxed even though that annoying part of her brain only told her things were going to get worse, because.. things always got worse.
For a moment, her eyes lingered on the three that seemed to be in a sort of quarrel, she had no idea what they were talking about but being loud they drew her attention until she placed it back to the group she was with. She frowned over Andrew's words, hoping that death wasn't on the plate for any of them really.
Her hands clutched the handle of her new found weapon, pondering if she should chance using it again to aid some of the fighters, since well.. that sneaking suspicion of dread was still lingering in her mind.

being bopped with an ignited key shaped weapon was not of the things he wanted to have done today. heck, being attacked by little bug shadows wasn't on the list either but it still occurred. The blade hit with a thump and the hound mocked physical agony, making a big scene of the abuse and sprawled out on the floor, his tail thumping behind him.
"I need medical attention, Danny abused me!" he cried hellhound. Nope that scene where he threw the fire Demon was not considered abuse in his mind.
That was danny being able to fly, with style. "Oh so its dead, good." that was all he wanted to hear, mission accomplished, and the keys shall stay with them forever and he was never going to let Thack hold his.
Ok, maybe one if the fellow canine asked really nicely. But never Danny. never.

With all the shadowlings gone, one little figure appeared. TG had wandered onto the scene looking frazzled and a bit on edge. Considering he had been dodging a slew of creatures about his size, he wasn't in the best of mental states.
So, as any sane imp would do, he went for a place that seemed to not be in too much danger and had lots of pretty ghouls.

"Yaaaaaaay! Yaaaaaaaay! We did it!" We? Who is this we? You just passed out spookies, Junko. Junko jumped and clapped, grinning from ear to ear.
Maple's attention turned briefly to the hellhound, the one that had hurtled the other flame demon at the very monster - and the moments later seemed to have destroyed.
She wasn't sure if his cries were in jest, but she held up her keyblade thing anyways and pushed her FEAR through it, letting it pulse around her before seeming to spiral around the hilt of the blade and towards Damien in a flash of red.
Huh, it didn't.. hurt this time.
