The small boar had attacked him, knocking him flat on the ground. He was ready for the barrage of attacks, but they never came. From what he could gather what was going on around him, the Hoshigaki woman was killing the beasts left and right. Note to self, don't mess with her... He brushed himself off as he stood up and looked at the larger boar, or what he could see of the thing. His eyes were still watery, but not as bad as before. The putrid stench was beginning to wear off, but the odor still lingered. He now wished he had brought some extra pairs of clothing. He went to attack the giant boar, but ended up tripping over the wild pig landing some brush. Wow... I was totally useless...

Papa Boar watched as another member of his family fell victim to these ruffians. He decided to pick on the weaker ones and hopefully take them out as well. First he chose Keon, charging headlong into the boys midsection. Then he caught sight of the girl who kept hiding. He broke another tree and trampled her as she fell out.

Miss and hit
Masaraku swung at the boar as it trampled the girl, but missed and had to watch her limp body as the boar ran off. Then with a second blow she killed the pig with a slice to the boar's neck. It fell limp and suddenly it and the other two boars vanished in a puff of smoke. As they did an evil cackle filled the air. saying, "Good." "Good."

 Keon was hit by the large boar and fell. He landed on his back but quickly rolled to his feet once more. He was ready to fight when he stood however the boar was sliced open at the neck before he could even blink. He admired Masaraku, who was probably the best out of the group. Keon felt stronger. He stretched his shoulder and threw a few punches to make sure he was still fine. "Well that was a good fight. That was fun but how far are we from the ghosts?" Keon was warmed up now and was eager to move forward.

Shinzu stood up wiping some muck from the side of his face as he did so. He had been ready to finish off the Papa boar himself but Masaraku, as she seemed to do so often when the two fought side by side, beat him to the punch. Regardless he still gave her a thumbs up and a nod, a large grin on his face. He truely enjoyed fighting, one wishing to be a taijutsu master simply couldn't not like it. That is to say he liked violence, he wasn't any sort of bloodthirsty Hoshigaki, but a good spare always got his blood going. That's when the voices came, and Shinzu looked all around, looking to see who had said that. "Ok, someone tell me they heard that..." Shinzu said, while once again looking at everyone before settling his glare upon Masaraku. This was her idea, hopefully she'd have an explanation.

Yeah... Batsu heard a couple of sinister laughs. The boy was spooked a bit, but his adrenaline kicked into high gear. The young male braced himself and side-eyed the direction from where he heard the voices.The boy slid his hand into his weapon bag and wrapped his fingers around two kunai knives.It started to seem as though the boars were just some sort of test for the group and the real battle was on the way. For some reason, Batsu timid nature vanished and this tough-as-nails demeanor kicked in.
Batsu smirked a bit and he kept a watchful eye on his surroundings. He thought to himself, "Game on."

Masaraku looked around as the laughter surrounded them. She walked over to the backpacks and began tossing one to each person. She told them, "It looks like the boars ate all the food, but we each have five shuriken, and five kunai in the bags and a bottle of water. We should rest here and heal up, Batsu, try to bring that academy student back to the realm of consciousness. We need to move on and get out of here quick." As she spoke the swamp bubbled up behind her and three canoes present themselves. "Now, that fight was rather rough, so I want to pair everyone up for the benefit of our group survival. Keon, stay close to Shinzu, your double taijutsu styles will compliment eachother. Tenshi, stay close to me, we're both rather agile fighters, you could learn a thing or two from me. Lastly, Seiko, once she is revived, will stick with Batsu. As the weakest, she should stay out of the fight. Batsu should be able to protect her and still be effective at distance. Albeit, one of the brothers is a ranged fighter from what I've heard in stories, so that may or may not work."

Keon smiled from ear to ear as he caught the bag. He had no use for the shuriken or kunai. He was much better with his fists than with any piece of metal. However he'd consider using it if he absolutely needed to. Keon thought of cooking the boars however when he looked over to where they had landed he could see nothing. He hadn't noticed it before but there was no trace of the wild animals. "Hey guys, did anyone notice that the things we just killed are no longer here. I mean I may not be the brightest of people but I do know dead things to move." Keon was still looking around for the corpses. He looked through the bag and drank some of the bottled water that was in it. He capped the bottle and dropped it back in the bag before taking out a kunai and walking over to Shinzu.
