Degenerate, no, not Armand insane. The singer sounds more evil and harmful than Armand does. Fits the Phantom though, considering the storyline. Articx, G, yeah, I'd have to agree with that. However, maybe it's a special sword or Zazzy has major robotic enhancements? We're in a sci fi world, so it could be possible if he had enhancements and a sword that isn't simply metal. ----------------- I think I might have needed a little more to work with here... Armand: Tonight, we have with us the orange haired politician and outrageously outgoing merry business woman, Ms. Cwen "Make a loud sound and I'll jump or drop something" Hazard! Lost_Realms "Peon."And what a welcome from Ms. Hazard. Seems her name suits her well. *loudly emphasizes next word enough to make Cwen drop something*PEON? Yes, we know Warlock sees us all as peons, especially those that can't help out and just scorn everyone by being unable to do menial labor in daily life."And why is this useful?" She's referring to someone telling her something or giving her something....you tell me. Isn't that a photo of you?

I am the shadow on the moon at night... Here's a rundown of what I forgot to mention in my profile: He knows how to use "Bushido". This making him able to cut through steel objects that are less than seven inches thick. He prefers Death Metal/Deathcore/Grindcore/etc. to Punk in his music tastes. He experimented on himself with AI parts, thus making his strength and speed increase. He also enhanced the metal in Hon'no. EDIT: Please forgive this misunderstanding. I'm having trouble concentrating lately. This is due to the fact that my fan is going out and my mother always sets the A/C too high. ...filling your dreams to the brim with fright.

I feel that I should point out a few things for clarity. Bushido is a way of life, not a martial art. A theme song is used to give a sound to his personality, not his tastes in music. You should always look over your profile and think, "Is there anything that I could be called up on later?" Put these things in your profile next time. At least you can see why we were bringing these things up. I've met people that refuse to admit that they were ever wrong in the first place.

Well, considering Bushido is Japanese, why would he know that if we're in a fantasy world? Perhaps you should make up your own that is similar in nature. :]

I am the shadow on the moon at night... Okay, here's more clarity for you, and, trust me, I know what I'm talking about considering I've studied Japanese culture for...god...almost twelve years now. Bushido is in fact a way of life. It is a way of life that can be used, hence why I said "Used" and not just "Knows". Bushido is what Samurai used to help their combat capabilities. It's what enabled them to cut through things that were harder than their own swords, as a certain chapter that I can't quite remember in a manga called "One Piece" explains when Roronoa Zorro cuts through a Devil's Fruit user who could make his entire body into blades of steel. And Artic, your post made me feel like your were trying to be condescending, and, quite frankly, I'm offended and it's making me pissed off. Also, his tastes in music reflect his innermost personality. His outermost personality is the visual form. The innermost is what controls how he mentally reacts. And, Artic, you should specify what you mean by "'Is there anything that I could be called up on later?'" while we're on the subject of misunderstanding. And, as I previously stated, I forgot to put them in my profile. Now, seeing as there won't be a next time as I've already made my profile, I won't be able to put them in it "Next time". Also, an apology if I sound a little condescending and diminutive as I have a slight pet peeve about people correcting what I have already corrected. ...filling your dreams to the brim with fright.

While I don't see any problems with everything you've stated, I have to say that I agree with Talon StarDrifter... Technically, nothing that exists on Earth has any relativity to Aeon and, subsequently, this roleplay. I hope I don't sound rude or anything, because I don't want to seem that way, but I, too, think you should just come up with a new version of Bushido that could logically have been created on Aeon, prefereably within Klox city--or just have been around since before Klox--that Zazzy woud know.
Just something that would blend better into the story, something to make it more of its own world than a world with Earth's pieces placed in at will. I'm not going to say I'm innocent, though--I mean, really, look at my character's name. It's French. Where would that come from in this place? Antoinette du Soleil is the most random of all the names, because at least the other names were at least mostly Englishishsoundingmaybe.

I am the shadow on the moon at night... Alright here's the deal. I'm going to become inactive for Gaia for a while. Don't worry, I'll be back. The "When" will probably be sometime within the next two to three weeks. The "Why" is simple. Aggravation. ...filling your dreams to the brim with fright.

Oh, you're leaving? Well, see you later then. We'll just ghost your character out of the current scene, and you can re-enter when you come back.
As for the whole debate that's going on here, I've got nothing to add.

I don't read or watch One piece, so I really couldn't comment on that though. I'm sorry if I sound condescending, but that's just how I type. xp

This is really a bad habit of yours aint it....
((also even though the 'discussion' is over One piece is a manga, so nothing in it can be said to be historicly acurate, the guys BODY is made of rubber lol so "...when Roronoa Zorro cuts through a Devil's Fruit user who could make his entire body into blades of steel..." doesn't hold water after that fact.))
Also, I forgot to add some minor things to my profile Eylios D: Would it be possible for you to add in some details about height and weight at the appearance area? Height 6 foot Weight 350lb being metal and all.

Haha, I think I didn't add Antoinette's height. But oh well. I don't know what her height is anyway.
Maybe 5'10"? She's tall... that's all I know height-wise.

Secret Kirari Just something that would blend better into the story, something to make it more of its own world than a world with Earth's pieces placed in at will. I'm not going to say I'm innocent, though--I mean, really, look at my character's name. It's French. Where would that come from in this place? Antoinette du Soleil is the most random of all the names, because at least the other names were at least mostly Englishishsoundingmaybe. *raises hand* Guilty! Cwen Hazard was originally a character that was supposed to fit into a Victorian Era roleplay where the names were supposed to be English. Armand is a French name, but the rest of his name probably isn't. I don't remember how I came up with that name. (Yes, he is originally my character out on loan to Scythe because.. yeah)
Uh, people, calm down. It's a roleplay, and a sci fi one, not a realistic Earth one. For fun. sweatdrop Not everyone's going to remember everything to put in for the profile. That's why there's something called character development during the roleplay and places where you can fix things like in OOC. Hope you feel better, Chikiri.
Degen, I got it to work. Why does the Al Capone theme sound familiar? Was it used in anything else? Yes, I've heard of Within Temptation. I think I only know the "Stand My Ground" song. Hmm.. the Angels song could work... can you make a note of that in the other guild? XP (Edit: Adding this. Oh, and that mafia song you posted before this reminds me of some song from the GhostWriter movie with Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan)
Scythe, uh, nice?

Indeed, the charries Lise and I are using in this RP were originally part of an English Victorian Era setting steampunk RP called The University from a few years ago. I don't know if anyone else here was in it. I think Scythe was in it too if I remember correctly. Anyways, we just modified our chars a bit to fit into this RP's setting. About the names situation... I don't see a problem with using ethnic names in this particular RP. My theory is that names that sound ethnic to us here are probably just normal names there. If the setting was specifically Victorian Era England like The University was than I can see why everyone needed an English sounding name, but in this case I don't think names are an issue. I don't think using earthly references/objects should be an issue either. For example, Maxwell carries around a Tommy Gun, which is historically renowned for its use in America's Prohibition and Gangster eras, and in World War II as well. However, anybody can tweak an earth object into this setting by simply changing the story behind it. If I'm in a situation where I have to explain why Max has a Tommy Gun, then I can easily say that a few decades ago, a man named Tom blah blah blah invented said gun and blah blah blah. Basically, I'm saying it's more the story behind an object as opposed to its relation to earth that determines if it can fit into the setting. @ Lise Nope, I don't recall the theme being used anywhere else besides The Untouchables movie. Maybe you've seen it some time in the past and just don't remember it well? Stand My Ground? Ooh! I think I used it on my profile in the past. Yes, I will make a note of the Angels song in the other guild. Hmm... haven't seen GhostWriter, but I know of a Marvel superhero/antihero and movie named Ghost Rider, which probably has nothing to do with GhostWriter. Haha. @Scythe What an episode! And Lise is going to strangle me for suggesting this whole talk show thing in the first place. Ha! Yeah, um... I'll be posting in the RP later today hopefully. Need to get some stuff outta the way first.

Yes, I was. I forget which character I had. It was either the teacher Kyne Fordon or the student Will Descythe. I'm thinking it was Kyne because his full name actually has an English meaning to it, "Royal One to Destroy." Yes, Articx and G, this is the same Kyne that I eventually made into Kyne Balderon, though they are nothing alike at all.
Right. As you said, we can just dismiss everything as "alternate universe" references and make backgrounds up. Or we could just assume that they technically dn't exist in the roleplay, but are described that way so we, as the character creators from Earth, know what they use.
Strangled? Let's not get violent here...
