Personality:
Impulsive and always ready to jump into action, Acanthus is always moving. He is not comfortable to sit still and look at something for very long periods of time. Pacing, twitching, ruffling his feathers are all commonplace and do not necessarily mean that he is impatient, just that he has become unable to stay still. Keeping a conversation isn't a problem, but if something makes him bored, he is not the type to try and stick it out. He will take his leave and find something more interesting to do.

The most noticeable thing about this colt is his jet black eyes. They seem to be looking at you no matter where you are, and they always have this mysterious shine to them that give some a feeling of mistrust. Is he to be trusted? Well, he's not going to try to make you, but ultimately that's up to you.

Anyway, what I have so far for Acanthus is that he left his parents and sister when he hit adulthood to go for his first Away Hunt, which is basically the trial into adulthood from his Father where he must go out and bring back a trophy of some sort. (He also believes that Rainart will believe he is a failure if he does not come home with a trophy, but Rainart loves his son no matter what, but Acanthus does not know that.)
So he cannot go home until he has the pelt of a Skinwalker. Which means... he has to kill one.

Background Plot/storyline Notes:

After Fathom left Acanthus, he was broken, lost and completely incapable of doing a damn thing for himself.

He wandered aimlessly and found himself in the lair of Eviotil. She was disgusted by him. Annoyed with his timid broken and wishing to die sort of nature. Much like some of her other minions, she decided to rebuild him in a form of confidence that would suit his stature as a Kalona breed.

As things progressed and he gained more of his true self, rather than the thing his previous lover had forced him into, he grew to understand that he was not actually in love with Fathom, but he had been desirous of her.

He grew affectionate towards his mentor, though she was often guarded around him. there were bold flirts on his part met with Rebuffs from the object he was becoming entranced by.
