[Shadow just stared at him, shocked and appalled by what Hauntednight thought. As the word kittypet echoed in his ear he growled and his pupil grew sharp. He used his hind legs and pushed Hauntednight off by his stomach. He got on all paws and growled at Hauntednight, using his paw to pin him down viciously and glared at him straight in the eyes.] "I'm not going back to that hell! You stupid mousebrain, you can't take a simple trust into your mate's brother?! I...I...." [Shadow's pupil released its sharpness and his right eyes filled with tear.] "I wanted to visit her...her grave that is...." Shadow murmered. [Shadow let go of Hauntednight, siting two tail lengths away from him as he starred at the outlands, looking down at the ground.]

[Shadow suck in his tears, not wanting to cry in public like some helpless kit.] "It's fine...i'm glad your protective over her though..." he admitted. [Shadow then looked at Hauntednight and seem to have a liking for him. He then chuckled as he looked in the distance.] "No...not my mother. The she-cat that was my best friend and someone I used to love..." he muttered. "But I have to move on and find a new mate I guess..." he muttered once more. [He glanced at Hauntednight quickly, wondering about his past. He stayed quiet for the present, sensing that he doesn't want to share his past.]

((Oh noes! D: Shadow's crush is running away > <; ))

[Shadow sighed, enjoying the light wind against his pelt. He thought for a second, about Fire but then noticed that she would only want him to move on. He didn't know who he would like.] Snowcherry is always beautiful. [Shadow shook his head.] No, she could have any tom in the clan, but then again she is nice. [Shadow then shot his head up, was he falling for Snowcherry? He closed his eyes tightly, thinking too fast and too many things happening quickly. He just joined the clan. Suddenly, the cry of a familiar voice struck him. He turned around to see Snowcherry shocked and misunderstand his words.] "Snowcherry!" he called. [He normally wouldn't run after a she-cat like this. Once in the outlands a she-cat fell in love with Shadow but told her not to bother. In result she ran off and Shadow never even bother to look. Without warning Hauntednight he ran after Snowchery. His muscles rippling as he put his strength into running. He stopped her by standing right in front of her.] "Snowcherry! You have to let me explain!" he said, panting in exhaustion. He all the sudden felt dizzy, but tried to stay steady.]

[Shadow sighed but looked down at her with a small grin.] "You mousebrian..." he called her, but with a joking and loving tone, no negative tones was detected. "Let me explain things first..." Was he really going to explain his past? Even though he just met her, she is one of the cats he is really connected to. [He noticed that she wasn't in the energy to run. Shadow looked around, noticing it was dark but enough light to see eachother. His bright blue eyes shined in the dark as he noticed no cats were around. Shadow knew that there was a beautiful sunset over the valley in the forest outskirts, he had an idea. He then crouched down near Snowcherry, signalling her with his tail to get on his back, so that he can carry her.] "C'mon, i'll explain everything if you give me the chance.." he said.
