Kai smiled, as the beach slowly came into view. His legs was burning up and the sight of cold water gave him hope. He picked up speed and ran even faster toward the cold salty water. Finally, two minutes later, Kai was kneed up in cold salty water. The water was somewhat in a way cooling off the burning muscles in his legs. He kept on jogging though, but slowed down so that his legs can rest a little and the muscle would cool down.

Kai could feel it, the improvement in his legs and stamina. He have been running and jogging nonstop for about one whole hour now. Back then he could only run for 20 minutes before stopping and breathing hard and sweating like crazy. Now, he could run for a long time and could still continue. The 75 lbs vest that he received at the beginning of the training now feel like only 40, maybe even less. Now he only need to get to the tower, then library, then back but he stopped at a rest stop and sat down. "I need this rest." He said weakly and decided to stop for a while. After about 10 minutes of resting Kai stood backup and began running again. "To the tower!" He yelled loudly without even knowing it. Again he was respond with the stare of several hundreds eyes. Embarrassed, Kai shut his mouth and ran even faster.

Out of nowhere a great colum of flame burst into existence, and the song One Winged Angel began to play. The Column opened to reveal the great Sephiroth, swordmans supreme. with his katana drawn and an evil look in his eyes. "You, Hoshigaki, we shall now train."

Sephiroth dashed toward the boy, fast to the point where one would have thought he had used the reduced earth jutsu. "Now is not the time to laugh and talk. Now is time to train, Draw!" Sephiroth commanded as he brought his fabulous Katana, Masamune, down for a diagonal slash across the freaky fish guy's chest.

"Too sloppy! You must make the blade an extension of not only your arm, but your will!" Sephiroth cried,deflecting the clumsy strike with a mere flick of his wrist, sending the Masamune to deflect and the boy's blade up high. He then brought the masamune downward in a crescent arc, one that would slice the fish boy's stomach open if he did not angle his blade properly.
