Harumi had finally let go of Rai's ankle now that Shizuka had volunteered to go up on the stage to be in the play. Raisuke just looked away and refused to make eye contact with Harumi as she mentioned the fact that he was alone with her. He knew what she was doing. He knew when he was being baited. And as to being messed with, it was near constant with her. He kind of bit his lip before speaking. "I planned to show her support already, I don't need any guidance to know that. I trust you will do the same, you are important to her afterall." Then Raisuke heard the voice of his sensei behind him. He turned to look at him and then twitched like he was about to form a tick from seeing his sensei like that. He shouldn't understand what it was, but he had an idea. Because that's the way his sisters boyfriend used to look after not seeing him or his sister for a while. "You have got to be kidding me.. Its a celebration for the people who fought and died for the village. You look like you have just been through a battle yourself.." Rai then just looked over at Harumi for a second before looking up at Shizuka and at the stage being prepared. He looked kind of anxious for it to happen. Like he was upset he was left out.

"What's wrong Raisuke? You know we still have the Orochimaru spot to fill out." There was still time to fill the spot anyway. "Team burrito could of been the three sannin. Think about it...Shinratsu-kun is Jirariya, you and Shizuka could of been Orochimaru and Tsunade.." But sadly, the Tsunade spot was already taken but the Orochimaru was already filled. Doing so would be a good away to get away from Harumi of all things. Maybe Giglamesh-sensei could take care of Harumi...but most likely that's gonna end up something he wished he didn't want to think about...Gig would most likely enjoy it...a lot.

Sakeme sighed as Shadow continued to wave her hand around, insisting that she wanted to join. Rolling her eyes, but smiling faintly when he squeezed her hand, Sakeme finally spoke up for herself after a while. Most of the cast had been chosen... so there was really only one character she could play. "I'll... be Rin then... if you guys want me too..." Her voice a light whisper to all else. Perhaps this could be a nice opportunity for her... after all, if Zephyr wanted her to be an ambassador for Knoha and Ame, she'd need to learn how to act...

Fortunately, the boy's mind was not so much on his sensei's current bedraggled state. So he did not make the connection to strangely being sent off to shopping at 4:30 in the morning...he was an early bird anyways. So Shin shrugged. "Suit yourself, Giglamesh-sensei." But as to Katagi: "It's all right. Besides! This is what a festival should be like, right? Getting to mix and know others..."
A calculating gleam however settled in Shinratsu's eye when his gaze settled on Raisuke... "Oh good! Raisuke! You'll make a perfect Orochimaru - come, come!" Why was Shin so excited about a mere play? It was...strange to see him laughing so much, a lop-sided grin on his handsome features...because at this moment, he was Jiraiya...and the toad Sannin was one of the most happy people in history...
A distraught wail caught his attention.
"No no no! And no!" The blonde haired, golden eyed girled stomped her foot.
"Huh? What's wrong now, Tsunade-hime?" Shin called to the stage.
A teary look. "I refuse to accept it! Sa-chan is in the hands of that imbecile too!?! CONSPIRACY! There's a conspiracy!!" Elruda seemed to have settled well into the role of Tsunade and was furiously shaking a poor member of the Stage Crew who had the misfortune to walk by her at that moment...
'Jiraiya' blinked. "Ah...I see..." To Katagi, he whispered (expression: >_>''). "Looks like we got our Rin now...but Elruda-hime seems to have taken quite a blow...you don't think she'll...you know, a punching bag later...?" Shin looked suddenly a bit wary.
...he still didn't want to be THE punching bag...

Giglamesh would turn to amaya and just look at her for a minute as if trying to remember whom she was. "Hey....you." Giglamesh's right eye would get kind of shifty as he spoke almost sounding as if he forgot his students name...but he could do that could he...would he?
Giglamesh would blink at katagi...several time during the whole time he was speaking, and the look on his face his right eye was just a big white circle with a heavy black ring. He had several dancing questions marks over his head, he had no idea what he was talking about. ".....uhhh....only wars i know about were the one hundred year revolution...which started earth nation, the qu which followed shortly after the hundred year war, and the war against the fifth dawn. I know what the eki ate is for....but since ive been here it was always for the two wars i mentioned." Giglamesh would look down to raisuke and just stare at him for a moment. "....shut up sparky adults are talking....and it was a uphill battle after each org......uhh....fought a....panther or something...she scratched my back up something ******** fierce." Giglamesh would give a coy grin, much like harumi would give, then...after around five minutes of him standing there he would notice harumi was standing there. "Hey its you....and you have clothes on...OUFFF!!!"
Mid sentence harumi would turn and pounce on giglamesh, he was tired and not expecting it so she floored him, usualy with her and ryoko when they glomped him he would budge in slightest...but like this he was a long wet noodle, harumi was kind of disapointed she liked it when he stood there like a rock. "Aww gigy did little kei ******** you br!!!" Giglamesh would put his hand over her mouth so she would stop what she was about to say, then she would grasp his wrist and bite down hard on to his hand.
"YAAAA!" Giglamesh would sit up and begin to flail his right hand with harumi biting down like a stray dog, as if its bite meant life or death. Giglamesh would flail his arm incredibly fast, as the chibi neko would keep her judo death bite grip on his hand. Then he would just take her by the nape of her neck and lift up and giglamesh would stand holding her out to his side like that. "eheheheh.....so whats a orochiragu? ......sounds like a Italian sauce made from snakes." Still holding harumi up by nape of her neck.
Harumi just dangled all chibi looking aboustly helpless like a kitten, she did move or try to escape his grasp she just dangled just as if a mother kitten would take it kitten by the nape of its neck, she would move just dangle. "nyaaaaaaa" Giglamesh was one of the few that could do this, because he was strong enough and tall enough to hold her as such.

That grudge she held against shadow was amusing, he could see why she would be mad at the greatest enemy number two who was the team leader that sakome was under. But the question about a punching bag, katagi's eye brows would arch as he thought about it. "You mean take her anger out on you during the play?" She may channel her inner Tsunade to take it out on those around her in the play...if that's the case every one was doomed. "If that's the case, we aren't on her numbered greatest enemy list. So we should be safe." Katagi would give a kakashi like smile with his eyes closed, there was something with this mask...it made him feel awesome wearing it.
He knew it was going to happen one day or another...or today, that his old academy sensei felt the wrath of Harumi. Luckly she didn't do anything quite perverted...maybe she's some kind of Cupid? She didn't mess with Gig but only ones not in a couple? Unless by embarrassing Shizuka and Raisuke to no end will make the two love each other even more? Iwagakure was weird like that and he wouldn't put it past him if that was really the Henka Harumi's goal. "Oh...Orochimaru, that weird snake guy from a long time ago...I heard one of his own pupils killed him off." Katagi didn't know much about the guy, but he was surprised that even giglamesh didn't know anything about the guy.

[[Sorry for the slow reply guys. I love how enthusiastic everyone is.]]
The boy Kae dashed off... strange kid but still. Morde kept her stern face but soon broke into a deep laugh. "Oh s**t. I think he crapped his pants or something. I've never seen a Gennin move that fast in my life!"
Yoko would only sigh and shake her head as the Henka burst out laughing. The Uchiha woman vanished from sight.
[[time to play catch up... again.]]
The rock kicked by Shadow would bean Marcus right in the back of the head. Again, there would be blood but he seemed not to pay much attention... he was a fountain of the stuff or something. Glancing back, he looked to Sakeme and looked her over a bit...
"Huh? Oh... well she didn't says he wanted to be in the play now did she kiddo... your not being... forceful are you?" Marcus arched a brow and moved in close to the boy, invading all manor of personal boundaries. Ahhh not like Marcus cared about things of that nature to begin with. "Forceful too. You'll make a great caveman husband one day." Marcus ruffled the boys hair a bit and heard another boy coming up.
Turning a little, his smile came full swing, "Hay, it's Two Face!" Marcus laughed a little. His comment... would make sense to only him and the boy. Marcus began to move towards the boy and then noticed the reaction of the two. He would arch and eyebrow at this and even more so when Shadow spoke up as well... what the duce was going on.
In just the same amount of time that Marcus had arched a brow, he soon shruged and let it go. Just that quickly, he had let the conversation slip from his memory.
Roy glanced to the entire situation and was at a loss. Not so much a loss as in in awe more so out of irritation. "Yo! Some of us have lives we'd like to get back to so if you all are finished with the soap opera amneisa reunion, can we get this play on the road?" He would sigh deeply again and look off to the side.
Marcus heard the girl Sakeme take the roll of Rin... well that was just about everyone. He noticed another guy pop up but... oh well he didn't know the guy so he didn't really care. "Orochimaru huh? Hmmm snake dude... Oy! Big guy, you wanna be Orochimaru?"
He was speaking toGig. Now, everyone there probably was aware of Gig's mortal... well... hatred for Marcus... except Marcus. Techniqually, he shouldn't even be talking to Gig but meh, that never stopped Marcus before.
Before he could get an answer, he then notice a girl coming around the bend. She had spoken to the big dude and apparently was familiar with a few. Marcus smiled hard (one of those super hard smiles where the eye's are closed and you see all the teeth) as he looked to Amaya "Hey! Tsuchikage! We found you a wife!" he would laugh a bit and take the girl up.
The stage was just about set now. Marcus smiled a bit as he looked to everyon and nodded from one person to another. He had heard the question and began to answer it. "Orochimaru was one of the 3 legendary Sannin. In other words, he was incredibly powerful but a little weird. I like to think of him as a bit misunderstood but either way, he was what he was."
The Uchiha Yoko soon apeared. She looked about to the cast and arched a brow, "What the hell? OOooh the play. Well everythings ready on our end. You guys break a leg... or something.

Giglamesh would just glare down the kage, he didnt say anything he just stood there glaring. Slowly his right hand would rise, on his right hand was the middle finger protruded, rest of finger and thumb balled in to a tight fist. With that was the kage's answer he wouldnt do anything for him, he may be the leader of the village...but, to gig, that didnt mean he wassent a d**k. Giglamesh may of been the only one that would outright show this towards him, to everybody else they saw him as the kage, a role to be respected but to gig.....he was a d**k with a straw hat. Giglamesh still held harumi in his left hand by the nape of her neck, she was still just kind of limp not trying to resist just limp like a mother cat grabs a kitten by the nape of its neck.

Amaya simply gave Gig a lazy glare, her right eye giving off a slight twitch as it seemed he had forgotten her in whatever odd state of being his mind was in. She shook her head then, looking to Katagi as he greeted her. Though his voice seemed vaguely familiar, she had no idea who this person could possibly be beneath the mask he wore, but she offered him a wave anyway. Opening her senses more to her surroundings, it was easy to tell that the hot topic was the big festival play. It looked as if a lot of shinobi she was familiar with would be participating and it was nearly impossible not to chuckle at the thought of Gig participating in it at all. Especially when an older shinobi called Gig out to play the roll of Orochimaru. Would he do it she wondered?
Amaya was even more amused when she too was called out to play...the Tsuchikage's Wife? Before she could think to protest the idea, she found herself being taken up on stage. Honestly, she couldn't say she really did mind doing it. She hadn't done anything else to participate in the festival so why not? So with a light shrug, she stood by, watching and waiting to see what was to be done with this spontaneous casting. Gig's own reaction to being called out was worth it to see and she bit her lip to keep from laughing out loudly on the stage.

There was a dimness of the area... how that was possible considering there was no roof since the place was outside was probably best not to ask really. An old man began to walk out onto the stage.
To set the place for everyone, even though the stage was made of wood, the landscape seemed more like someone snatched up a huge chunk of the Kara Badlands and destroyed it even more. There was sand and dirt scattered about with various stones and such. To those who would pay extra close attention, they would notice that the stage was on a rotating platform. There were actually several sets already pre made and ready to be moved into position for the plays many parts. Althoug... what could those parts be if this play was about the war?
Either way, the man would walk to the front of the stage and begin to sit down. A ragged cough left his lips as he cluched his chest. A few members of the audience stood thinking the man truely in pain as he coughed. He was truely capturing their attention with his motions.
He soon raised a hand and took out a pipe. Lighting it, he took a long slow draw from the item and then let out the smoke slowly. "I'm not long for this world... no... not long at all. I find it a tiring path to carry the burden of history on my shoulders. I suppose thats what happens when you're a historian but... bah. Kids these days don't want to know about history... they don't want to know about what brought them to the point they are at now... only what's new and hip... they don't understand that the freedoms they enjoy now are bought with the blood of their ancestors. Personally, I blame the parents but thats just my opinion."
Another draw of the pipe and he would cough a bit again, "I suppose... that I need to start passing along the tales of the past... starting with wars that bought our freedom... have you all heard of the 2nd Great War? Well... I'm sure you have but do you know about it? What really happened? Would you like to? Hmmm I think you all have decent enough ears to hear the story."
His voice was completly changed. Not through jutsu or device, but through shear acting ability. Had the other actors not known this to be Marcus, they could easily be fooled. The lights on the stage would be lite and soon Roy would be seen on one end of the stage with several shinobi by his side(extras). At the other end, Shadow would be on the other end with an equal contengent of shinobi.
The extras, aware of the situation would charge each other and begin to attack each other. Mind you, the stage was huge, more than enough room for the 20 extras to move about the stage in full combat(minuse the real weaponry).
Roy would look about and get an idea of what was going on quickly. He would raise his hand and trust it forward, "Strike and destroy the detestible Konoha. Show them the power of the village of stone!"

Raisuke had moved to quickly enough upon the offer to be in the play that all would be seen was an afterimage. He appeared between where Gig was and where Marcus was. He knew Gig was quick to anger around the Tsuchikage after the last incident. "No, he won't. I will be playing Orochimau." Raisuke's head turning to face Shin, nodding as he made eye contact with him. Little did most know though that Raisuke was doing it to make sure he was out of the clutches of that devil kitty, Harumi. Raisuke would then perform a henge. He all the sudden had the ninja flank jacket vest on. His skin turn to a cream colored/silver mixture. Then he walked over to Shinratsu. "How do I grasp the look exactly of this character.. you seem to be into this.. help me out?" He whispered, not wanting to let others know that he was lost. Just wanting to be part of the crowd.

(I hope I can still do my part properly while I'm in the middle of moving from one house to the other. >> ^_^; )
Sakeme bit her lip to suppress the smile that was trying to escape from her as Elruda's anger flared. Yes, she made a good Tsunade... Sakeme was just glad she had a more "minor" of the major characters than anything really. She would do her best no matter what though. She didn't want to let anyone down, now, since she'd finally agreed to be a part of the play. Darting backstage, as things were getting set, she got herself ready for when she was syupposed to appear.

((*pokes Carlos* Do you REALLY want to know? I mean, I could count just for you... xO But anyhow, save the two NPCs that spoke - the rest are main characters. =3))
For his first appearance, Shinratsu was dressed as old man Sandaime. When did hell did he get changed that quickly? But Shinratsu had participated in the dance ceremonies back in Kiri...he was used to changing quickly... He had donned the Hokage hat and robes and pasted on a Quick-Change TM fake beard. The make-up artist even aided in helping his pale, smooth skin seemed +40 years old. "Don't worry, you're doing great." He whispered with a grin to his teammate...or rather, student for now in the first act.
The first fighting scene - a prologue of sorts to the play - was actually a fast forward scene of the later event of the disastrous recon mission in the Grass Country...to which initially the Leaf had countless casualties and then Namikaze Minato...well the future Yondaime changed the course of that battle, wiping out a whole battalion on his own. Once the extras charging at each other on the stage bounded off to the many exits, the Stage Crew quickly darted in corners and added in new prop pieces.
A huge, decorated scroll rolled down from the balcony, suspended in the air now many feet from the ground. If one was not careful, they might've thought it was a decoration banner piece. But to the observing ones, it said clearly: 'not so many days earlier...' in flourishing calligraphy.
Shinratsu approached what seemed to be a group of shinobi gathered before him (or below him, rather, because he was entering from a balcony-like extension and would be remaining there for now to make a speech)...for the rest of this first act, they were in Konoha - for this particular scene, at the Hokage's Tower. Clearing his throat, he did a 'benevolent leader' kind of gesture over the Konoha extras below. For the first part, he read through a pre-prepared speech, mostly charged with invoking memories of the infant years of the village...before ending with a bit of nonscripted part... "...Shinobi of Konoha - loyal scion to those who had fought and served under the regimens of the Shodaime and Nidaime! To those that had fallen for the sake of our village in the years gone by...let us defend their sacrifice!! For though gone they may be, their Will burns none so brightly than in the next generation - to the Grass Country, my people! To face the Stone!"
The extras below cheered loudly - and shots would be made to draw attention to the main folks there: the future Yondaime in all his glory with his three students, further off, the future Sannin Tsunade with her teammate Orochimaru by her side...
The lighting seemed to suddenly darken and the supporting characters around them freeze. A spotlight appeared where Tsunade and Orochimaru was, drawing the crowd's attention. Well, here it was for their monologue...Elruda, swallowing her nervousness... One...two seconds...and then... "It irks me just how late that baboon Jiraiya is!" Snarled the pretty blonde-haired, golden-eyed girl as a violent kick was made on the wall. A huff, and the Senju princess, rounded on her teammate. "What do you think of this war, Orochimaru? Codswallop - if you ask me! I mean - though I respect Sarutobi-sensei..." Here she looked away, almost as if dramatically crestfallen.
Yep, definitely a natural.
"This is no mere war over borders..." She sighed at length. "It's over natural resources, too. If we win...we get access to the southern mountain pass...I...I don't like this at all..." Her voice drifted off, delicately decrescendoing. "Never." She said, walking forward a step, gesturing boldly ahead, face slightly tilted to the sky. "Great-grandfather would've wanted instead for his village to leave the warring era behind. Oh, how would he grieve if he knew..." And then she looked sadly, fingering the plastic prop crystal necklace on her neck...to those well-versed in history, the Sannin Tsunade had lost her brother in the first Great Shinobi War...and she at twenty-five years of age would be losing her boyfriend Dan in the second... "He wouldn't have wanted many more to die...but it's useless, huh..." She continued on, murmuring sadly.
And then, very angrily: "Those filthy, greedy ones on the High Council...they do not care that we already hold enough territory - with more than enough resources a shinobi village could ever hope for! Konoha is twenty years old - not a several hundred years old village short of room for people! They do not care - of the ones who makes the sacrifice - dear goodness, look at Minato's students...children, see! Children!" Here, she made an exasperated gesture. "Children barely fresh out of the Academy - and they're going off to war as soldiers!? It's an abomination!" She left it open for Orochimaru to point out that in such times, it couldn't be helped...the forced early graduations...and also, the opposing side was likely to use all that could come to their advantage too. And as a medic-nin...it was natural for her to value life so more than others.
Here, her hands flew to her face and she almost seemed to be sobbing, before more softly...cross that thought - she actually was able to have tears stream down her face! And softly, very softly...the crowd almost have to strain to hear... "Nawaki...oh Nawaki...he...wouldn't have wanted this either..."
"Oh look, it's billboard girl!"
It was Jiraiya who have just spoken and arrived on to the scene - Shinratsu have gotten changed again during Tsunade's monologue - now his spiked up hair was free of the oversized Hokage hat and he had the old man skin layer and beard removed, the crimson war-paint lines redone...and donning his white and flame-edged yukata instead...but clearly, like Tsunade and Orochimaru, he had armor pieces on too.
He was met with a swift fist to the stomach. He calculated...3...2...1... Hard. He was sent reeling back. "Oof (expression: o___o)!" Gingerly clutching his stomach, he re-approached his teammates - hobbling. "As violent as ever I see, Tsunade-hime..."
Though aside, he hissed to her: "Did you really have to hit me THAT hard... (expression: T.T)?"

"W-whats my lines? I-I never thought it was going to be this embarrassing to be in a play." Katagi was sweating bullets in nervousness of being on stage! But by the looks of it, Shinratsu and Elruda were doing pretty good. They both must of acted on stage back in their respective villages of Kirigakure and Amegakure...maybe shinobi from water villages were better at acting while the desert like countries were more wild and rocked out more in music? Then again he never knew any one from Sunagakure to rock out. His sensei the fourth hokage Minato was played by the guy who he made fun of a while back, Shadow...which was going to be a hell of a time to act with him.
"Was...that a punch of acting or a punch from the real Elruda?" Katagi had a huge sweat drop appear on his forehead.
