The cover of the third book was a pegasus and a kid with grapevines on an metal eagle so I picked it up cuz it looked cool. @Horses: There there, i would recommend after reading The Aeneid to read a happier tale, afterward, because you need to smile more, but in any case, does it help that some members of the Round Table were descended from Aeneas' line?[And thank you, Artemis, for bringing some of his descendants to Europe!] Oh I smile plenty! Hehehe! I'm just not a big fan of plagarism. I actually did read a very funny Greek play after I read The Aeneid. The play was Lysistrata, and I recommend it. It is a very entertaining! ^_^ Alright then[but i thought The Aeneid and Ovid's works had some shreads of originality, and The Aeneid was a prequel to the tales of the Round Table!] Let's talk more in the Modern Myth section. I never said that the Aeneid did not contain orginal ideas. I said that there are passages from the Iliad within the Aeneid. Is there a thread for Greek Lit. and Roman Lit. in the modern myth section or should I start a new one? This Link to the Modern Myth section could be useful to discuss further ideas in this regard, if it helps. Let's take the conversations in there, alright?

Hello! my name is Grey-Eyed Boleyn. When I was growing up, my dad would tell me Greek myths instead of fairy tales, so I've loved them for quite a while. My favourite Greek gods and goddesses are Hera, Athena, Artemis and Hades. Actually, the "Grey-Eyed" part of my name comes from the phrase "grey-eyed Athena", which Homer uses to describe Athena frequently.
