*a girl looking about the age of 10 walked in. She wore a plain black t-shirt, tan slacks, and what looked to be a furry belt around her waist. Poker straight hair fell to her shoulders, some strands covering her face. her feet were adorned with black chuck taylors. she knew her way around here, having been here a few times. those that had seen her before would notice she wasnt carrying her teddybear anymore. no worries though, the picture was in her back pocket, where she was ready to whip out towards anyoen she hadnt asked already. her tiny feet carried her towards the lounge, where she sat down on a couch, her 10 year old body looking way too small as she sat there. "pfftt......" she said outloud*

.o O ( the scream of the undead closeted within wood five feet under, sanity scratching at a brain that refuses to bring in the light of day. imposing a world on children who claw at their wrists, invoking this taciturn horror. stepping on those below them, they're caked in blood and grime, such goes our world.

- It was fifty after seven and night had already fallen upon the vast stretches of Canadian wilderness. Along with the recent night fall came one of its more sketchy acquaintances known most commonly as the moon. Sound asleep, on the sofa he was placed upon just a few days back, Kisaragi was sprawled out in the most awkward of positions. His heels rested soundly a top the sofa while the rest of his body toppled down the sofa and then conveniently onto the floor; his posture best simulated a waterfall.-
- Deep, labored, breaths escaped his tender lips as he snored rather loudly. Having just recently started breathing again he was still getting accustomed to the whole process. With time, like everything else, it should come naturally.-

*as she sat there she heard a snore... which meant soemone was there! looking around quickly, she noticed a man in an extremely awkward position. she tilted her head to the side, staring at him for a moment. then she shook her head, shakign herself from the improperness of staring. "plus" she thought to herself "i should have felt his presence....i'm getting lazy it seems" She sighed, and got up, walking over to him. not getting too close, yet still close enoug hthat if he woke he might be startled, she squatted down and peered at him. she didnt recognize him, and thus meant she hadnt asked him yet.... *

- His energy signature, now, wasn't any higher then that of an average human unlike before when he belonged to the select few known as vampire. However, with time and considerable effort he could easily devise a training regiment to help boost his energy signature considerably. What use would fighting for him now serve? He no longer had any enemies, a soul to acquire, or any reason to feed off the living for nourishment. Everything was at peace in his life or so he thought.-
- Squatted before him, a young girl of no older then ten peered at him. Watching his every loud inhale and soft exhale. It wasn't that he could senses or anything, that power faded from him with the shedding of his vampirism, but for some reason deep within him he could feel her presence; kind of like a sixth sense if you gave it any kind of reference. He wasn't startled by her presence and so to show this he slowly opened his eyes and closed mouth to form an appropriate smile. A smile that was supported by a ever so soft glint in each of his crimson orbs.-
" Well now, what do we have here? A young lady who seems to be awfully interested in my awful sleeping habits. Can I be of any assistance to you?"
- Kisaragi made sure to speak softly, and kindly to the young lady as to not alarm her but instead assure her of his newly acquired good nature.-

*her light brown, almost goldish in color, eyes lookedi nto his crimson ones for a moment, and then she sat down on her tush. he had a smile on hsi face, and then spoke to her. She looked at him for am oment more, then up at the ceiling. Standing up the girl reached into her back pocket pulling out a very worn and water damaged picture. She then proceeded to sit back down and looked back at him. Her lips were spread out in a line, no sign of emotion on her face. a Hand came up and brushed back a bunch of black hair that had fallen infront of her face. the other hand that held the picture immediately forced itself into hsi face, the picture probably too close to him for him to make it out properly. "do you know these people?" she asked in a rather monotone voice, although if one had listened carefully they would notice the sound of excitement and worry. the picture was water damaged though so one would only make out two people, both with black hair, on of them, what looked to be male, his hair was a tad spikey. The people could be anyone really, but an orphan always had her hopes, no matter how hopeless they were.*

-He shook his head back and forth as to tell her that the ones in the picture were people he didn't know personally or couldn't recall having ever known them. That appropriate smile of faded and was replaced by a somber frown laced lightly with dissatisfaction with himself. For some reason he felt that he had failed her and words couldn't possible ever cross his sorrow for her plight but he knew actions may. So with out a moments hesitation Kisaragi spread his arms out wide and wrapped them lightly around the young girls thin waist.-
"I'm sorry for your plight. Were they your parents, friends, or something along those lines?"
-He didn't expect answer in return to his questions but he felt asking was only necessary.-

*as his arms wrapped around here she didnt know what to do. Plenty of woman had wept and expressed their sorrows, hugging her to the point she couldnt breathe, pinching her cheeks, offering her places to stay. But most men just offered her food and shelter for a while, sometimes a home, always beeing kind but not over bearing. none of them hugged her. it was a light and nice hug so for the first time in a long time she hugged back. "parents..." was all she said to him.*

-Releasing the light grasp he held around her waist, Kisaragi, then rolled to his immediate right. Once firmly upon his stomach he placed his enormous hands upon the solid flooring before pulling himself completely off the sofa. His rapid succession from one position to the other was quite tiresome for the still recovering man but nothing was quite as tiresome as the loneliness he felt now. It was as strong of a feeling when he was a vampire. Then, his emotions were quelled and always kept in check by his vampirism. Now they were free to do as they pleased and this only caused Kisaragi greater hardships. He to, like the girl, didn't have his parents, family, or friends for that matter anymore.-
-Once upon his feet he brushed himself off and fixed his mess he called a hairstyle. Then, with his hands tucked firmly away in the pockets of his sunfaded denim jeans, Kisaragi turned to face the young girl looking down upon her not by choice but by force; seeing that their height differences were so great.-
"If it is of any comfort to you i'd just like to say that I too am without my parents. I just wanted you to know this so you don't feel like your all alone in this cruel, unforgiving, world."
- His form of speech was so delicate and a bit to femine for a man of his stature and dress.-

*The girl got up and sat back on a couch. Once again she brushed back hair from her face, and looked at him quite seriously. "i'm not exactly alone . My paretns are out there Sir. Its just a matter of where. People have been kind. others have been well.. cruel and unforgiving as you put it." her voice was back to monotone, and it seemed she had been on her own for a very long time to speak so properly to adults. She blinked, and then sighed. "although i do wish i knew where they were..." she said, her voice now girly and sad. trying to be grown up was very hard, she noted to herself. and it all seemed the girl was trying to comfort herself, when she actually didnt know if her parents were alive or not. she figured they were, given her heritage. but if they were they could be on another planet for all she knew. some loon had also joked about time travel, but as she had traveled she learned time travel did happen, so who knew.*
