((I thought Videl was necessary. Mr. Satan was ridiculous, but there has to be a joke character since DBZ is directed towards kids.))

@Pith: Mr Satan was certainly a joke character when he arrived But Toriyama reworked him wonderfully in the Buu saga as a necessary and important character. I love Mr Satan. He rocks. whee Not sure how Videl is specifically necessary to the storyline, aside from being a link between the Z warriors and Satan and the rest of the unassuming world. It's been awhile since I read all of the Buu Saga. ))

((Oh boy, this has become a full fledged debate, all because of my hair! blaugh Lol...time for some IC action! whee ))
The elevator whirled to life, carrying its lone passanger down to the main room. As the doors hissed open, a young girl stepped out. She looked rather familiar, but it was hard to place a name to her face. Bright green eyes, tail, smiling face....it couldn't possibly be! But it was.
It was Jade, who's long, black hair she had earlier in the day was cut short, spiking up in every direction, looking very untamed. She was dressed up rather nicely for some reason, red sleeveless top, red skirt with a short front but a long back, and red flip flops. Her locket, though beaten and worn, looked freshly polished as it hung from her neck.
She sighed happily and ran her fingers through her hair.
"Ah...much better....that feels much nicer than all that hair before...it was getting in my way...."

Jade sighed a little and walked over to the bar, sitting down on one of the stools. She looked around, wondering why there hardly seemed to be anyone around anymore...There didn't seem to be much happening here anymore, at least...not until the tournament got started up.
Maybe that'll liven things up....but you never know...
Turning around on the bar stool, she sighed, wondering if anyone would come in tonight, or if she'd come downstairs for no reason...

Jade sighed again, facing the bar again and leaning forward onto it. She put her bare arms out over it, resting her chin in them and closing her eyes halfway. She was spacing out a little in the empty silence of the club, and would probably fall asleep there at the bar if no one came in...
