((Cool idea, Secret! biggrin lol!))
Lin sighed softly as Dymetri's hands rested against the top of hers on the window sill, the first contact she had with him in months. Her skin automatically felt as if a trail of fire shot from her hands straight to her heart, and she loved it. She had missed him SO much. Yes, she had still had some confusion about having a relationship with him, but during the months that she had been separated from him, her heart had hurt and she had longed desperately for him. Yes, she had been so happy to be back home, but part of her heart had been left here... with him. She had no confusion about him now. She knew she couldn't be away from him, not have a relationship with him. Whatever difficulties arose from being with him, she wasn't worried about them. They would take care of them together.
She turned her hands over so that her palms were now facing up into his and she intertwined their fingers. The sadness and abandonment she saw in his eyes broke her heart.
"Dymetri, I am so sorry for having to leave suddenly and not being able to send word to you. My father immediately called me home after my first evening independent study class with Professor Akakios. I had no time to pack or tell you I was leaving. The water gate appeared and I had to leave. It would have appeared suspicious if I told my father I needed to tell someone I was leaving since he was taking care of informing my professors. Then when I was home, there was no possible way I could contact you. I couldn't create a communication water barrier since the Elves would have sensed the water being used and would wonder what it was being used for. I couldn't use a carrier pigeon because we all communicate with nature and someone would have discovered what I would have done. It all would have been traced back to you, and I never wanted that to happen. I would rather be away from you for months than risk my people finding out about you and causing... problems for you."
She couldn't help but note the ironic situation she was in right now in comparison to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Not only was she standing at the window to her room with the man she loved... yes, loved... looking up at her from the other side of the window as Romeo had done at Juliet's balcony, but their relationship was also a star-crossed one. Yet they wanted deeply to be with each other.
After a pause, she whispered softly, "I wish I could have told you. I am sorry you had to worry about me for so long, not knowing where I was."

((*evil grin*))
Suddenly, Athena glanced out of the shower on a hunch, and--yep, she'd forgotten pants. She didn't really want to walk around pantsless since Lin was back (had she been alone, it wouldn't have mattered). So, the shampoo still in her hair, she stepped out and wrapped a towel around herself so she could quickly grab a pair of jeans. It didn't occur to her that she could just wait and then cover her lower half with a towel when she was done.
Unlocking the door (it was a habit built from living with ten brothers, a sister, and pets upon pets), Athena stepped out and was about to briefly apologize to Lin and grab her pants when she saw none other than Professor Valen standing at the window, talking intimately with Lin. And both, if Lin turned, would have a wonderful view of her towel-clad, shampoo-haired self right now. She did what any person's first instict would be: she yelped loudly, pointing dramatically at the vampire professor.
"GAH! DUH! BLEUH!" Whatever the hell she was saying was even beyond her as she glanced from Lin to the professor to Lin and back and forth, her finger subconsciously following her gaze. Obviously not thinking clearly, a small spout of fire was shot at P. Valen, and she dashed to her side of the room, grabbed pants, and rushed back. For whatever reason, though, she turned and stared again. "RURAGH?!" It sounded more like a half-threatening, half-scared bark than anything more human...
She was so glad that her tail had stayed down by her legs the whole time.

Valrie then realized she had something she need to do. She dashed another direction leaving Cecilia to follow the spirit. She looked around and called out for her father. "Daddy! Daddy!" She still had a big smile on her face as she searched the school grounds. "Father!" She cried as she spotted him. "Good news. Good news." She said. "Follow!" She said bowncing around. She had no clue where her overly-happy energy came from as she lead the way to her room.
Cecilia was still following the spirit when it went through a door. She frowned and pushed the door open. "This spirit... is familiar." She said under her breath as it enter the dorm building. Then she couldn't follow it anymore as it enter Valrie's room.
The spirit floated over to the soulless body and hovered over it. Cecilia scratched at the door. She wouldn't trans form in fear of being found. Finally, the spirit enter the body. Giving off a bright blue light, true life had come to the waiting body. A big gasp escaped it's mouth, as the soul fused with the body completely. She sat up breathing heavy as she grasped tightly to the cover that covered her bare self. It was truly the Ella lost a little more then a month ago. The gods let her go and granted her wish to have the vampire blood removed from her. "I'm... I'm back." She bursted out in tears and smiled lightly.

He caressed her hand with his thumb after their fingers intertwined. He listened to her story, made sense of it, and believed her. Though it was idiotic not to, Lin would never lie, and he couldn't help but believe her even if she did. "It's all right, Lin." he whispered, just in time for her roomie to walk in with just a towel. His eyes widened and a huge grin spread across his face. It slowly faded into a sarcastic smirk as she began her lecture in gibberish. "Is she part of the mentally challenged group?" he softly asked Lin. When the fire came, he rolled his eyes, waving his hand slightly. A thin layer of ice protected them-- mostly Lin-- from the girl's random attack. When she entered the bathroom again, Dymetri called out to her in a stern, adult voice. "Hey! Next time you use your powers outside of class, I'm reporting you, kid!" He turned back to Lin, his adult features melting away to form a childish sideways grin. "Heh."

Suddenly, senses kicking in, she stuck her head out of the door and stuck her tongue out at the professor. Somehow, she really never got the whole 'respect your teachers' vibe at this school... Everyone (she knew, with the exception of Lin) ignored it anyway, so she said, "Shaddap. I should be the one reporting you." Not that she was going to. Then she pulled her soapy head back in and resumed her shower.
...It was a bit awkward, though, knowing that a vampire professor was in view just outside the door being all lovey-dovey with her elf roommate.

Lin smiled softly when she felt his thumb caressing her hand, knowing that he understood what she had said.
Before she could respond, though, she heard the bathroom door open. She gasped and quickly whipped her head in the direction of the bathroom, but not moving her hands away from Dymetri's. Her eyes widened very largely when she saw Athena standing there, in just a towel, looking at both her and Dymetri. Oh.... dear.
Luckily, since her head was turned in the direction of Athena, she did not see the large grin on Dymetri's face when he saw Athena standing there in just a towel.
She did hear what he said, though, about her being mentally challenged due to what she tried to say but didn't quite succeed. She squeezed one of his hands lightly to hopefully get him to stop that kind of talk right away.
"Athena... Dyme... Professor Valen is here to inform me..."
She gasped, though, when she threw a fireball at them and then left quickly. Luckily Dymetri blocked it with an ice shield.
When she was sure Athena was staying in the bathroom this time, Lin sighed and turned back to Dymetri. Her eyes widened when she saw the grin on his face. "Dymetri... how can you smile right now? She just saw us in obviously was not a simple student/professor interaction."

Dymetri considered what Lin said, but not too deeply after Athena made her final exit. He smiled again. "It seems to me that it's not such a big deal. Besides, even though I'm a teacher, I'm mostly a vampire. Mostly. Which means I could just tap into her.." He pointed an index finger to his temple. "...and make her forget she ever saw a thing." He smiled. "But I wouldn't do that anyway. You wouldn't approve." He stated this in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone which held no resentment. Damn, it was like he was her pet. Ha...... That won't ever happen...... He levitated and entered her room through the window, looking around. "It looks so empty in here. So depressing." He shot a grin at Lin. ((lol that rhymes.)) "Perhaps I could help remodel?"

Jewlet stopped and looked around as she felt a serge of power come and disappear. "Has someone brought life back." She said under her breath." She looked up. She began to think as she walked the hallways again headed back to her room, figuring she would get information soon. She entered the dorm building and quickly made her way through to her dorm, dismissing anything she saw.

It was so wonderful to see Dymetri again and his upbeat attitude was so infectious that she just couldn't stay worried about anything.
She had nodded when he said she wouldn't want him to modify Athena's memory, smiling thankfully and happily at him. He already knew her so well. She then stood back when he started to float to allow him room to come inside. She should have been polite and asked him if he wanted to come in earlier. That was quite rude of her... but she actually just couldn't find it in her heart to berate herself at the moment.
She, too, looked around the room when he did. "Yes, you are right. It is quite empty-looking around here. I had wanted to put up some soft pink tapestries around the windows, drape some bright yellow ones across the ceiling, and at least bring in flowers and plants. I never did get around to it, though. I hardly spent time in here. I either had class or was in the gardens."
She laughed softly, the sound of bells seeming to fill the room then. "And, if you would not mind, I would appreciate it if you did not decorate this room. It might be a little... dark for my tastes, and I am sure Athena would not like it."
She went over to him and rested her hand on the side of his face. "Thank you for the offer, however."

"Hnmm?" Ophiuchus turned around when he heard his daughter's voice. The mud was still flying, but it merely splattered against an invisible barrier. Ophiuchus himself was still coated in the mud, so he didn't dare try to hug Valrie. "What, what?" he asked, walking away from the courtyard to follow her.
"Yo Professor A.! You can't just lea-" SPLAT. Whichever senior was the one protesting, he now had a mouthful of mud, and was currently attempting to dislodge it from his oral cavity.
"My, Valrie, you're so excited!" Ophiuchus completely ignored the student.

He seemed to go in a daze as she heard her laughter. Mmmm, he missed it so much. But hearing her comment, he rolled his eyes playfully. "Who said that dark wasn't tasteful?" He examined her walls. "Who do you think designed the Night Building's interior, huh?" He turned back to her and smirked. Of course he knew that she needed different surroundings to feel at home. But it was fun just to tease her. Suddenly, he was next to her, a small blow of wind hitting them a couple seconds too late. He was slightly slouching, his mouth right next to her ear. "Psst.. Do you think that your roommate will hear us if we.." He didn't even get to finish his question. His hands were already around her waist, tickling her, and he pulled her with him to her bed. Not to lay down, of course. He remembered what trouble that got them in months before. But he just sat on the side as he pulled Lin onto his lap. He almost felt like a Santa Clause at the mall, with her on him. But it felt so nice, to have her resting on him. He nuzzled his nose against her.

Valrie nodded her head. "Yep!" She entered the dorm building and dashed to her room. She looked down at Cecilia and pulled out her key. "Kitty! Who is it?" She asked with a huge smile on her face. Valrie opened the door and Cecilia dashed into the dark room.
Cecilia jumped on the bed landing on Ella lap. She meowed happily. "Meow. Glad your back." She said in a low voice.
Ella was shocked when the door open and tried to see who it was, but could really tell. She then jumped when Cecilia jumped up on to the bed. "Cecilia..." She turned back to the people in the door as the light switch was flipped. She covered her eyes and waited for them to adjust.
Jewlet turned around as something caught her attention. 'So that woman is back. Hm.' She turned back around and entered her room.

Lin gasped as she suddenly felt Dymetri's fingers lightly digging the sensitive areas on her waist, tickling her. Even though she didn't want to remind Athena who exactly was out here... although it wasn't like she could easily forget... she couldn't help but laugh loudly when Dymetri tickled her and pulled her to sit on his lap on her bed. Elves hardly ever tickled each other, so she was very sensitive to it. And the fact that Dymetri was doing it, such a small, happy thing, made her smile largely. Happiness was flowing through her, also making her eyes appear bright blue.
She looked up at Dymetri with those bright blue eyes when he was done tickling. She was gasping softly for breath and was still laughing, although much softer now.
She then rested her head on his shoulder. "I missed you..."
