The Fierce Deity Vice Captain

::The tall Orinian demon hears the voice in his head, recalling the sound to be that of Unks' voice. He looks off blankly to his left as he hears the words, otherwise showing no indication that he heard anything. Without moving his head, his eyes move back to Jade as she speaks, and his attention wanders around again, a curious gaze tracing the curves and structure of the room.
After a few moments he looks forward at the ring tiles, and steps up along the stairs to move onto the battle stage. His long legs - clad comfortably in loose-fitting worn old jeans - carry his lean frame across the ring, his thumbs tapping against the fabric of his jeans to the tune of a beat in his head. Listening to music and creating art are the two things Deity's found to consistently help him through even the worst times. Watching him bob his head to silent music isn't uncommon. The tall Tonepian reaches Jade, and he walks right by her; he stops once he's behind her, his left side facing her back. He then turns to face her body, leaning his head halfway over her right shoulder and speaking just clearly enough for her to hear entirely.::
...what were you practicing...?

Jade watched Deity carefully as he looked around the room before starting to walk towards her. She kept smiling, noticing how comfortable he looked in just regular clothing, not the bundles he wore on Orion, nor his someone usual training clothing. Just a pair of jeans and a tank top. Idly, she wondered what he was listening to in his head as she tried not to laugh a little at his bobbing head as he came over.
She turned her head, watching him with her eyes as he walked behind her for a moment, before turning towards her and leaning his head over her right shoulder. Jade turned her head straight again, smiling slightly at him as he asked his question.
She waited a moment before she answered, glad to have heard his voice. He hadn't spoken much since they had gotten ready to leave, and not at all as far as she knew since they had returned to Earth.
"I don't really remember....I think I used it when I was real young, to get used to the basic forms and stances again if it'd been a while..."

::Opening his mouth as if to reply verbally, Deity nods slowly in response to Jade's brief explanation of her martial arts katas. He's done similar training exercises in his spare time, using it as medicine to clear his mind of thoughts, or just to contemplate recent events in his lifetime. Wearing weights during the practicing of certain katas makes for a wonderful workout, as well.
Exhaling deeply yet as softly as a feather through his puckered lips, Deity rests his jaw on the girl's shoulder, staring forward. A moment of silence flows by before his gloved hands, lifted from his pockets, suddenly find themselves at the fair teen's hips, just below the hem of her pants. His thumbs play with the edge of the garment, and he lets his lazily half-closed crimson gaze wander across the ring tiles, as if he's lost in thought.::

Jade smiled a little more when Deity leaned forward to rest his chin on her shoulder, turning her head forward and closing her green eyes, sighing contently. For a few minutes earlier in the day, when she had been alone with her thoughts, she had begun to think that what had happened on Orion was just a...fluke, you could call it. Deity hadn't said anything about it, and Jade had thought better than to bring it up. After everything that had happened on Earth, she let him have his own thoughts.
But the girl found herself leaning back into Deity slightly, lifting her right hand slightly and putting it over the top of his left hand resting on her hip, covering it slighlty and rubbing her thumb agianst his glove. She kept her eyes closed for the moment, just letting them stand there in silence, glad that no one was around after all....

::The tall red-headed boy sighs softly as he feels the young girl's hand brushing across his. A weak smile slowly spills across his countenance, his neck bowing down and burying his face into Jade's shoulder. He breathes slowly and rhythmically, his breaths rolling down her skin as he lets his thoughts roam about unhindered. Abruptly, he turns his head more towards her, lifting up a bit so that his lips brush across her right ear.::
....I missed you...
::Those words drift softly from his mouth as he speaks to Jade, closing his scarlet red eyes. He lowers his head once more, brushing his lips ever so tenderly along the right side of her neck, so lightly that she could miss it if her attention is called by something or someone else. He finds his way down to her shoulder once more, his arms lifting and curling gently around her abdomen in a firm, warm embrace, his right cheek now resting on her shoulder.::

Jade kept smiling softly as she felt his warm breath against her skin as he held his face against her shoulder. The scent he gave off, though others might not notice, was comforting to her, letting her mind drift back to when the had first met for a moment. Goosebumps formed on her skin a little as she felt his lips brush her ear when he spoke.
No one more than her knew how serious he was when he spoke in first person, this case no different. She squeezed her right hand a little against his left, putting her other hand over his as well.
"...I missed you too....so much...."
She sighed deeply and blinked her already closed eyes, dispersing a few tears that threatened to form.
"I was foolish....to think leaving would change anything...."

::Deity opens his eyes halfway once more, the polished alloy of his headband producing a mirror-like shine that allows Jade to see herself in the reflection. The Mystic demon almost looks like he is falling asleep, depsite not being tired at all, as he rests his head over the girl's shoulder. He listens to her words, pausing a few more moments in his own thoughts.
He lets the words drift through his ears, contemplating what she says so softly back to him. He breathes in deeply through his nose, the scent of her hair pleasantly invading his senses. He lifts his neck up, opening his eyes completely, and moving away a bit, so he can take in the entire outline of her face at once, before he speaks once more to her, elaborating on his previous statement as he holds her a little tighter.::
...on Orion...in the mountains. Glad you came...
