<<@Keno: ...uhm....good times? < <;; >>

::Deity glances over at the Seinorei, the ancient mighty blade he once brandished with pride. After all the effort he put into redsicovering it and learning the magical runes on the blade, he can't even touch the thing now. The scabbard the sword was housed in vanished into nothingness when Deity transformed nearly four months ago. As did all of the other possessions he had on him when his humanity slipped from the grasp of his soul. That is the sole reason he cannot wear his locket until he returns to his normal self.

Lifting his right hand, Deity playfully runs his fingers through Jade's rich black hair, smiling weakly at her in response. He then nods again, lowering that hand to her shoulder. He now lifts his left hand, pressing his index and middle fingers to his brow as he concentrates. He can just focus on, for instance, his Tower bedroom, and teleport. However, he's been gone for so long, it is somewhat difficult to get a bearing on a location alone. It'll be easier to detect a powerful life energy. Deity's eyes widen slightly as he picks up Keno's signature, in what looks like the Club Orion stadium. That's as good as any.

Closing his eyes, he concentrates on that power signal, squeezing Jade's shoulder gently as if to warn her to brace herself. Using his own patented version of the rare Shunkido move, no energy spike occurs as Deity and Jade are gone from the planet Orion, now standing two meters inside the stadium, on the matted floor. The Orinian opens his eyes, glancing around with a somewhat dismal sigh. Ironically, this is about the same place Deity was standing when he was last human. Letting his right hand drop from Jade's shoulder and to his duffle bag, he lowers his left hand to his jacket pocket, looking around inside the opened-up stadium. The lights aren't on. The main room lights are motion-activated, while these are manual.

Glancing up, Deity sees where Keno is, but says nothing to the boy. he can just barely make him out at first, the moonlight and stars being the only guides around the huge room until his eyes adjust. Deity then looks down, and he fidgets his shoulders a little. He's suddenly very uncomfortable with this thick jacket on. It's so much warmer here on Earth, he's not used to it yet.::

(( I couldn't sleep in class when I was in high school, somehow I always got put near the teacher's desk. domokun But I was such a rotten student. I'd never do my work.

I remember my 9th grade math teacher was the first one who ever put me in ISS, and she made it sound like a bad thing. I still had to go to all of my normal classes, but when it came time for math class, I was to report to the detention hall. Three days in a row.

I remember distinctly thinking, "YES!! I don't have to be near your ugly a** for three whole days!! W00T!" Some punishment. If a person is happy with being punished, you have failed. ))

Jade laughed slighty when he ran his fingers through her hair. She leaned against him slighlty, waiting with bated breath and closed eyes until.....

They were home again.

She opened her eyes slowly, no longer seeing hte hotel room, but instead Club Orion's stadium. Her eyes, used to the light back on Orion, had to take their time to adjust again. At first she didn't even sense Keno also there, excited just to be back. Orion was alright, but there was no place like home.

She turned to Deity, and hugged him tightly as she laughed a little, having dropped her bag on the matted floor.

"Welcome home Deity!"

Jade smiled and let go of him again, blushing a little as she started to relax a little. She looked up, finally having sensed Keno there as well, and smiled widely.

"Nii-chan...."

(( I'd fall asleep in class all the time, though more college than highschool. Simply because the teachers don't care as much. I fell asleep, front row in on class (2 hours and 40 minutes), and sleeping until the half hour break. Apparently I was snoring.... sweatdrop ))

Keno's eyes flashed with alertness as he felt two familiar powers return to Orion. Two familiar scents as well, and the air hugged their bodies the same as always. Before his head even lowered to gaze upon them he knew that Jade and Deity had returned. "Well speak of the devil."

With a lazy leaning motion, he slipped off of the rafters, but corrected himself immediately as his body glided gently towards the two to get a good look at the two of them. The first thing he noticed was that Deity still looked like Fierce, but it was easy to tell that he was docile and harmless in a general sense. He also noticed Jade had gotten a bit stronger. From what he wasn't so sure, but at least she didn't come back the exact same Jade from before. That wouldn't matter though because she would likely be stronger soon enough.

He smiled at them both as if the past few months had not even occurred, as if the last time he saw them was yesterday. He stopped, five feet between him and them. His arms folded slowly across his chest as he eyed Jade, and then Deity, the traces of a smile breaking on his face comfortingly. Though he was personally overjoyed to see them both, he could only express it with a casual, joyful "Yo!" which sounded almost void of emotion. Maybe not the best 'Welcome back,' but they would get the picture no doubt.

And so this is why the wind blew.

::Deity releases a half-hearted single-breath chuckle as Jade hugs him, his left arm reaching around her back to return the gesture briefly. He slips his arm away from her as he sees the figure in the rafters lowering, Keno apparently dropping down to greet the two of them. If Deity didn't know any better, he would think Keno knew they'd return at this moment.

As a random thought, Deity recalls the last time he saw Keno, in battle with him while under Fierce's control. This circumstance is so much drastically different now, it brings a gentle smile to his face. He bows his head slowly and slightly in greeting to his friend, standing slowly back upright. He casts a brief gaze around the room once more, glancing over his shoulder at the hallway, seeing the dim lights of the Main Room shining through and reflecting off of the walls. He hasn't been here in ages, it would seem. He turns back to Keno, looking as though he expects him to say something more.::

(( God, two hour and forty minute class. With or without breaks?? Cause that's overkill, my friends. When I was at Coral Springs High in South Florida I had four two-hour classes a day. Big change when you're used to six one hour classes.

On the other hand though, that meant I had extended periods of my teachers not checking on me and therefore allowing me to slack off. mrgreen I had this one teacher named Mrs Pericles, and she was SO awful. My friends and I used to call her Mrs Barnacle. I actually corrected her in class once, she was so not fit to be a teacher.

But luckily she usually just sat at her desk and did positively NIL, and I sat in the back of the class so I was able to doodle. ))

< eek I actually enjoyed my high school teachers. Sounds like you got the short end of the nice-teacher-stick.>>

((One break halfway thorugh....plus it was only once a week on a Thursday night....major suxxors....= =;; ))

Jade laughed again and ran over to Keno, wrapping her arms around him. After all, she hadn't had the chance to say goodbye, so the least she could do was an enthusiastic hello.

After a moment, she let go of him again and stepped back, grinning still, looking between him and Deity.

"Miss me, Nii-chan...?"

(( lol Yeah. I actually did have one decent teacher in the whole lot; his name was Kramer. He taught world history. And I swear to you, he looked like Hitler. He even had the one-third moustache. But he was a great guy. A little harsh, but never mean. It was obvious that it was all in the best interests.

I remember very specifically one time when he sat me down for a talk and told me that I was better than slacking off and getting bad grades, and that I should have more respect for myself than that. biggrin Very cool guy, especially considering that he looked like a Hitler-clone. ))

((Actually, I had a guy like that too... eek Mr. Smith. xd He had the mustache, just it was a salt&pepper one...not a hitler one... ^ ^; But he was super nice, I think I was the favorite in that class... sweatdrop ))

"I missed you quite a deal, but your absence gave me some stuff to think about. Thinking helped pass the time a lot." He smiled as he pat her ever so gently on the head. He was grateful she only had an inch on him. He sighed contently as he felt something within himself return finally.

The entire world went still all of a sudden. There was no sound, no light, no breeze. To be around Keno, a lack of even the tiniest gust of wind was odd. Something was or had happened quicker than most could account for, especially anyone who happened to be off gaurd. When the play button was pressed again, Keno's right fist was imbedded in Deity's torso, the complete force of his punch, which could be noted to be stronger than he should be allowed to deliver in his base form, being delivered completely to the wolf-demon. "However," he continued in a harsh, raspy voice, "you had best not ever scare or hurt Jade as much as you have over these past few months."

His fist opened jaggedly and clenched Deity's lose skin, his fingers feeling like claws threatening to bore into him at any minute. For some reason Keno had managed to yet again supercede his capabilities with pure emotion. Nothing could escape that grip without first weakening him or sacrificing a part of itself to its captor. "If you do, I'll be sure every organ in your body ceases simultaneously, and if that doesn't stop you, I'll show you horrors even I can't dream of right now."

He released his good friend from his grip, walking slowly towards the exit of the arena, and eventually the club, leaving him to recover. In truth he was pretty tired, and thought that they were likely to be just as fatigued. "You will training under me from now on Jade. Don't expect it to be easy because you're my sister. Give your all each and every time." As his silhouette faded into the shadow of the corridor, he seemed to have said all he would say for the evening, but as the large doors of the Orion could be heard opening, he made one final comment. "You now share in my responsibility to take care of her. I expect you do just as good a job if not better than me. If at any time you fail to meet my standards, I will refuse to recognize you as worthy of her love." And with that the doors closed, leaving the couple alone. Keno himself was gone before the dorr shut, as always, but that didn't really matter.

::The blow comes swift and hard, hitting Deity in his ribcage with significant force. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't expecting to get hit by someone, if not everyone, upon his return. His only comfort is that in devil form, even with his defenses lowered, he doesn't feel much pain. He flinches slightly at first as he is hit, but soon straightens out again, looking down at Keno with a completely blank expression, even as he digs his fingers in. He has every right to be angry with Deity, suddenly leaving without so much as a word to anyone. The moment he regained control of his body, he became scared and fled. It didn't help that he'd just finished almost killing his father and two of his most cherished friends. Deity won't let that happen again.

As Keno releases him and walks off toward the exit, Deity glances sideways over his shoulder, watching the boy leave. He says nothing, taking Keno's words to heart as he says them. Then he hears the club doors shut, biting his lower lip gently. He isn't so much afraid of Keno as he is of just having standards to meet now. He sighs inwardly and turns his head back to the fair Jade once more, situating the duffle bag on his shoulder. It weighs about fifty pounds - light as a feather. But it keeps slipping off Deity's shoulder.::

((... eek ...Ne....Keno Nii-chan can be scary when he wants to be.....*gulps*))

She smiled a little as Keno patted her head affectionately, but then she stiffened as everything went so still suddenly. Before she realized it..she turned to see Keno in front of Deity, his fist in the Orinian's gut.

Jade stood up straight and looked at them, her mouth open slightly in shock. She'd never expected that. But as Keno started speaking, she gulped slightly, knowing far better than to say anything right now. As long as she had know Keno and called him brother, never had Jade seen him so...angry, and intimidateing. Especially to Deity made it even scarier.

When he turned to leave, Jade watched his back with anxious green eyes as he walked out. She had a sense of deja vu when he spoke of training, an old memory of her first home brought to the surface. But she shook it off when she noticed Deity looking back over at her.

Jade smiled a bit awkwardly back at him as she walked back over and picked up her bag that she had dropped. She opened it up and started rummaging through it.

"Well....I guess Keno was....happy....to see us..."

She laughed halfheartedly, not knowing exactly what to make of that experiance. Finally she pulled out what she was rummaging for, the key card to her room.

"I don't know about you...but I"m tired....."

Her smile fell though when she looked him over real quick...

"You...don't have your card on you....do you...?"
