'I know I'm on something, because Ophi stuck me with a needle when I had a panic attack about forty minutes ago,' the dragon replied frankly. 'I'd rather you didn't shoo me away right now. I'm much stronger and skillful and lucky than you think I am. And I feel amazingly lucid.'
The dragon's eyes were glowing slightly as the dust settled, a deep red rather than his typical green-blue hazel. He flicked the tip of his tail. A high pitched whistling noise screamed out, followed by a blast of pure wind, pushing many of the surrounding demons back a bit.
'I'm not even in the air yet.'

Lin sighed and then started looking for some place to sit. She saw Ambrose's desk and smiled at the chair. She turned her head to Ambrose and pointed to the chair with a soft smile on her face.
"May I?"

"No, Ialo, listen to me, please. This isn't for you, it isn't your-Oh, s**t, here he comes! Damn it, you old b*****d!" She cursed as the ground opened up, and out of the fiery vortex, and ancient hell dragon soared up and out, roaring and breathing out flame as he circled the valley.
"s**t! Now Lazareth came out...I can't deal with him too!" She glared, shaking her head. ____________________________________________________
Ambrose nodded, gesturing with his hand. "Be my guest. Thirsty?" He asked, remembering her had some water bottles around somewhere.

Lin nodded. "Yes please."
She pulled the chair out and practically glided herself down onto it. Despite all that she had been through and how weak she had gotten, she still had the natural grace of the Elves.
She smiled at Ambrose as he looked for the drinks. "So, how else have things been going for you? Have you had a chance to visit our Elven home again? It can be very relaxing and is a great place to think."

Just as Danni was finishing her complaint, there was another blast of cold air, sucking everything up towards the sky, and out in a massive downdraft, as Ialo leapt up and took off into the air. Danni was being silly, he lazily thought to himself. She had no idea what he was capable of, how powerful he was.
Ialo flew straight past the hell dragon, banking to his left and sliding underneath the ancient beast, slicing at its underbelly by using his wingtip as an improvised blade. At the speed Ialo was going, he was easily outpacing any other natural avian creature, certainly enough to cause damage just by flaying by.

"You're both idiots!" She shouted up into the sky, and could only gasp out a breath when an attack grazed across her cheek, burning so that her eyes watered briefly. But then she dug down deep, found the power she'd been looking for, and she shot out her hands, muttering spells under her breath in a rapid burst of words.
Light shot out of her hands, a huge ray that cast away the shadows, had Satan shooting out his own magic, dark as pitch, and it hit hers dead on. She was pushed back a full step, but her magic didn't give, and neither did she. She had a damn idiot father to keep an eye on now.
Above her, Lazareth let out a roar again, and his blood oozed black where Ialo sliced him. Thrusting out with his head, he dug his teeth into the back of Ialo's neck as he passed by, drawing blood.
"Damned kids have no respect for their elders. I always did hate the Top World." He growled, and with one eye glanced down at the fight. So, the renowned Shadow Runner was finally giving the Boss a run for his money. Good for her. But now he was going to have some fun of his own. _____________________________________________________
Ambrose fetched a bottle, handed it to her after twisting the cap open. Grabbing one for himself, he settled at the foot of the bed, concentrating on her words.
"No, I've not had a chance to go back. I was in the Australian outback for a while, and then I was back here. I look forward to returning in the future, though." He said, smiling.

Athena growled, frustrated, and just began to chant something. She wasn't sure if it would work, but she chanted what was normally a teleportation spell for inanimate objects, rewording it in some places and applying it to herself, hoping to move from here to--well, she actually only asked to be at Ialo's aura.
She didn't know where that would take her.
She reappeared, gasping for breath moments later, on top of something distinctly scaly and moving way too fast. She screeched briefly, falling face-down onto the scaly surface and holding on. What--
CRAP.

There was a muffled scream from the smaller, younger dragon as Lazareth bit down on his neck. Dragon scales were like an nigh-impenetrable armor... unless you were attacked by another dragon.
Ialo slowed down, matching his speed with Lazareth's to minimize the injury. But, he still had his magic. This would not be a bodily brawl. He arched his back and whipped his long thin tail around, lashing Lazareht in the side while zapping him with lightning.
You could learn a thing or two from those damn jellyfish.

Lin smiled softly to Ambrose and nodded. "That is good. I am sure my father would like to see you. And Kember."
She laughed at the last part she said, obviously referring to Kember's flirting earlier. She flirted with almost every cute guy. "She's special, that one. But I do love her."

Lazareth growled as his massive body jerked, but he had some tricks of his own. He drew in a deep breath, snorted it out through his nose, and suddenly his whole body burst into black flames, encompassing him, flickering on his scales. With a jerk of his massive head, the twisting flames shot out, wrapping around Ialo's leg and spreading up, searing flesh as it moved.

Ambrose smiled, dangling his water between his fingertips. "Your sister is wonderful, nearly as beautiful as our lovely Lin. She's a pleasure to talk to." He said sincerely, his eyes softening.

Well, on the plus side, Ialo's neck was finally free, if a bit bloodied. It wouldn't take long though, for that to heal up. Not in this state. Ialo was agitated, and his magic was only being loosely controlled.
He roared, and dropped through the air suddenly. That put several hundred feet between him and Lazareth, which left him and Athe -
Athe -
Athena?!

"You've an insect on your back, little dragon." Lazareth growled out, narrowing his eyes at Athena.

"Thank you kindly for that notification," Ialo responded out loud. 'Athena, crawl up, grab my horns, and do NOT LET GO.'
There were only a few moments where Ialo was still, then he suddenly shot up again, several hundred feet in just a few moments.
