tummy upset today kinda worried if ive picked up a bug with all the running around. hopefully nothing big and it goes away. got a day home to rest anyway which rocks!

welp.. a real s**t storm in ea land today. ea accepted an offer to sell out to privatize the company to ppl i'm not gonna give money to. tiny chance it might get rejected but i doubt it. kinda sad. i had a shopping spree planned for my haloween fix next month. looks like i may have to look around for another cozy game. luckily im into story of seasons atm but i rly like the sims vibe. lookin into inzoi altho it doesn't seem half as quirky but at least its there.

in good news my glasses came in! but in the brown frames they had in stock not the ones i ordered in cornflower blue. but i can take em home today and come back next week to pick up frames. they never showed me a pic of the frames anyway and they'll reorder them wed so imma tell em i wanna see the goods this time b4 i decide. main thing is im excited to get the glasses. had some eye strain and fuzziness gaming lately. hope they work great!

Yeah I saw about the EA thing, I'm considering it the death of it tbh.
No way a saudi company will be chill with queer things in any of their properties, get ready for a whole section of people to no longer exist in any EA titles.
People are desperately trying to archive the current version of all the sims games which I don't blame them, first thing epic did after taking over volition was update the backcatalogue and actually breaking a bunch of the games completely.

Yaaay yah got the glasses, yeah sounds about right tbh they are also good for wearing during screen stuff to just filter the light through so that you don't degrade your eyes.
Getting that blue light film seemed so gimmicky but it turned out I really liked it.

Back in work tomorrow so at least I have a great excuse to ignore my phone for hours whee

aaron im sorry ya got family drama its hard to get away from it when its family.

and ya its just plain pitiful with the sims cuz its just about teh sports side of it that its getting coopted. but it'll suffer dmg from it anyways. i don't know how to get work arounds the launcher for the sims 1 legacy or sims 3 yet.. yet... lol

but i made dang sure i tweaked my sims 2 ultimate collection cuz i paid for everything with sims 2 back in the day. im keeping it dammit. its now modded with rpc launcher and protected from that mess. if i lose the rest of the sims i know i at least got 2 if i ever need a hit. im struggling not playing 4 atm tho i wont lie. i hate that its came to what it has. there's a tiny thread of a chance it wont go thru or maybe they'll sell sims part of it off to someone else that's not awful.

its rly the least of all the bs tho nowdays aint it? just feels like im waiting for the sky to fall lately with the state of things.

i got mom to check with drs on her chest hurting after cardio and her increase in bp. they reassured us it sounds but did up her morning dose from a half of one of her pills to a whole which aint a big jump and i think its a good idea. gotta run her to town for a few more errands then get a walk in and try to zone out.
