you know your a band nerd when you and all of your band friends are in step walking to lunch.
you know your a band nerd when your ring tone is the show you are currently playing
you know your a band nerd when you automatically call out the time signature of a song on the radio
you know your a band nerd when you hum your part of a show
o.O you know your a band nerd when you write "I heart band" at the top of your homework

helives95 You know your a band geek when you just have to sleep with your instrument, and a night light made to look like the instrument. That......sounds.....Soooo Wrong! stressed

...When you practice a jazz run in the mall, avoiding stepping on the cracks in the tile to increase your step accuracy. Even though you aren't in colorguard.
...When you wear your band shoes to the mall to do just that xD
...When you don't care what people think of you, when in a crowded place practicing various marching techniques.

u no ur a band geek when an instrument drops off the blechers during a football game and everyone turns to see who dropped it after becoming dangerously quiet. ((guilty))
u no ur a band geek when u punch the person who knocked ur instrument off the blenchers and then were backing to being friends with them 5 minutes after ((guilty))
u no ur a band geek when u loose ur mouth piece and u find a spare with a guard member ((ive helped a tuba with taht before))
u no ur a band geek when u get into the football game at the end of season and cheer on the wrong side so u dnt have to stand in the rain for the championship game
u no ur a band geek when u line up behind the goal posts to prepare to march in for the half time show and get knocked unconcious from the ball coming through the posts b/c u werent paying attention (((guilty))
u no ur a band geek when u line up behind the goal posts for half time and the kick is way outside and the ref gives the call based on how many band members yell and dive out of the way

u no ur a band geek when u clean out ur only locker ((band lockers cause we dnt no if our music department ever got real lockers)) and u open a bag of food flinching from the smell b/c u forgot it was in there under all the band collections congregatting in there ((luke is so guilty of this he killed our noses when he threw his eggnog away finally after the trip to cali and back around x-mas))

I didn't do it . . . but someone else did sweatdrop i was gonna do that, but i think my BD burned the old ones... uhmmm You know your a band nerd when you know the tone of the school Bell Haha our bell rings at a tone halfway between Bb and B... You know you're a band geek when you've graduated, and everyone at the marching band camp's asking where you are... rofl

You know you're a band geek when you don't flinch in horror to find your brother is wearing his marching shoes in the mall... and you start jazz running from tile to tile with him in the mall, lauging and having fun ((guilty))
You know you're a band geek when you almost start crying cause there's no mello this year because the only one graduated (me and my friends almost started crying on the field cause we don't have our mello and our good trumpet on the first day of band camp)

you know you're a band geek when you get hit by a falling stand during sectionals and it doesn't hurt (guilty) xd
you know you're a band geek when your first date is a band competition or a drum corps exhibition redface
you know you're a band geek when you understand all of the bd's bad jokes and find some of them actually FUNNY sweatdrop
you know you're a band geek when you can march slides at a one step interval at 180 bpm in 3/4 and still nail all your sets (look up School Daze on youtube 3nodding )
