Ambrosia sighed and stopped next to a large tree. She sat against and looked up to the rapidly darkening sky. It was late already. She had such a blast today that she totally forgot the time. She looked over to Hakim and said, “I’m tired. And it is getting late. What do you want to do?”

He came to a stop right next to her and sat down. "Well, we could hang out here, until we get tired I guess." He said with a smile. His tail bobbed back and forth slowly.

Ambrosia thought for a moment before agreeing. “The sky is getting darker anyways. We could watch the sunset.” Of course she knew what would happen after that. She would miss her new friend when they did have to part ways.

He couldn't just leave her here. She had no parents. "The sunset." He nodded. He figured there'd be a nice cave or sleeping area that they could both sleep in for the night. "But first, we need to find a place to sleep before it gets too dark" He said with a nod and a laugh.

She nodded, wondering if they were going to have a sleepover! How cool would that be!? Her eyes moved over the terrain of the small forest, thinking that there was no way a cave would be here. “Maybe we should move out of this place to find a cave? Or something like that.”

He nodded at her. "I think there's mountains a few ways back? I'm sure there's a cave there?" He said trying to remember if he saw a cave on their way here. He hadn't been paying attention much. Though, they didn't have all the time in the would to find a place to sleep. Perhaps a tree would do if they needed.

Ambrosia nodded, looking in the same direction he had been facing. She hadn’t seen mountains before. Probably because she had so much fun exploring the forest, she kind of forgot about everywhere else. “So, should we start searching?” Now, she was wondering if they would be able to find somewhere before it became to dark.

He looked to her and smiled. "Only if you want. I mean, we could find a nice tree and make that a sleeping place." he said with a nod. He bobbed his tail up and down. He looked to the sun, as to see how long they had. Perhaps a hour, or two at most.

Turning over the possibilities in her head she decided that it would be a good idea. “Let’s go find a tree then!” Pointing to the left she said, “You can go that way,” then pointing to the right she declared, “and I will go this way! Okay?”

Hakim didn't think it was a good idea to split up. Strange creatures came out at night. Well, not strange, but mean. "Ah.. I think we should stick together, that way nothing bad happens." He said worried about the little Kit.

Ambrosia looked back at him with a questioning look on her face. “Why?” she asked, its not like she was scared or anything. She looked at the trees just a few steps away, and with the sun going down they made large shadows on the ground and they started to look like monsters. A shiver ran down her back. I might not be a bad idea to stay together.

"Because, I rather nothing happen to where one of us got hurt." more so her then him. He could leave with getting attacked by another creature, but she was so much smaller, he didn't think she'd survive a attack. He smiled down at her.

She nodded her agreement but still wanting to be seen as brave and courageous she said, “But know that I am not scared. Its just that you are asking me nicely to stay with you.” There, now he couldn’t say that she was cowardly.

He smiled at her. "I'd rather I'd get hurt, then you." He said with a smile. It was just safer that she stayed close that way if something attacked, he'd just take it on letting her escape without a scratch. "Oh! How about that tree." He pointed at a tree not too far from where they were.

She walked closer to the tree he had pointed out. She circled said tree, moving a critical eye all over it before finally giving her approval. “It’s good. Let’s just hope bad weather doesn’t happen.” She gave him a small smile before sitting down underneath the tree.
