"Amira?" Nato's voice was soft but nervous. To the looks of it, she had lost conscienceness. But she was still alive. Nato knew he had to get her out of this rain but they were far from the tribe lands. Thinking quickly, Nato dashed up a tree and scouted the area. There seemed to be an cave not to far from where they were to the left. Odin had left to the right so it was safe for them to go that way.
Nato lifted Amira up on his back as carefully as he could and began walking. As he was walking, he passed under a banana tree and bit off one of its leaves to use as a shield from the rain for Amira. He placed it on top of her, with a bit of struggle, and trugged on through the stinging rain.
Finally! He made it! Nato walked up to the entrance of the cave and looked around it. It seemed very abandond. Though it was a vary shallow cave, it would provide shelter from the rain. Nato made a spot for Amira at the back and set her down. Feeling the pain from the battle rush over him, Nato decided that he would have to find herbs to help them after the rain stopped. Right now he needed to keep Amira warm. His head went fuzzy at the thought. Knowing he had to do something, he went to the entrance of the cave and shook himself dry. Then he went back to Amira and laid down next to her. He sighed, counted to 5, and moved closer to her. He rolled his eyes at himself and cuddled up to her, wrapping her up in his tail. It wasn't long before he was sound sleep hoping that Amira wouldn't wake up and catch him cuddled up to her.

"Yeah, I guess..." Sigal swished her tail, still worried, though. Shouldn't they be done fighting now? So why weren't Amira and Nato coming back? What if that crazy modi had done something to them? What if Nato needed help with something? She didn't want to sit there doing nothing!

Loki sighed and got up, heading out into the rain. He sat out there in the rain for several minutes, his ear flicking occasionally. He eventually stood back up, looking into the darness towards their left. After another long pause, he returned to the three. "It was hard to discern with the thunder, but Nato and Amira have found a cave several miles away. It seems Odin has given up on them, but the fact that at least one is able to move and no one has no come back here looking for help bodes well."

"You could hear all that? And over the thunder?" All Sigal could hear was thunder and things moving about, maybe just the leaves in the wind and rain, or maybe animals. Or modifoxes. She didn't really believe that Loki could hear everything he claimed to hear, even if he was an elder.

Loki chuckled; Sigal had clearly not been taught the nature lesson he required all kits in his tribe to learn. But why should she? She had no need to survive the harsh enviroment that he lived in. "Why don't you come out there with me? I'll prove it to you."

"Warm." Amira murmured softly, slowly beginning to free herself from the blanket of sleep that had been holding her captive. Sighing a little, she cuddled closer to the source of warmth and comfort that seemed to be wrapped around her. Nuzzling it softly, Amira began to consider actually getting up. Frowning a little in her sleep, she tried to remember what had happened. Oh yes, they had been looking for Sigal and...her thoughts trailed off for a brief moment.
In a flash of remembrance, Amira bolted up from her previous position. After scouring the area wildly, she determined that the strange vicious fox was nowhere in sight. That was probably a good thing, considering her current state. "Ow." She managed to get out, before collapsing back on the ground. Once again cuddling up against the source of warmth, Amira felt herself begin to drift asleep. Rolling over, she examined her protector. "Nato?" She quietly inquired. Smiling a little, her thoughts echoed in her head before sleep once again took over. He took care of me.

"Okay," Sigal said, standing up. She didn't care about the rain. Well, she did a little, but she was way more worried that the crazy modi was still out there somewhere, and might hurt her or Daddy or one of the other tribe members. She wanted to see for herself that everyone was okay and that the crazy modi was really gone!

Loki sat down in the rain. "Now, you're about to learn one of the most important lessons that foxes in Kousestu learn. No one else has been taught it, so consider yourself very special." He smiled softly. "Close your eyes, and breathe regularly. I want you to push back all of your worries over everything, and just feel nature around you. Let your worries flood out of you and nature come into you."
((I love the cheesy Kousestu lessons. XD))

Nato slept for a good bit before waking again. Yawning, he noticed that Amira was closer than she was when he first settled down to sleep. Did he really move around in his sleep? She shuddered and looked towards the intrance of the cave. Still raining. Great.
Nato sighed and walked to the entrance of the cave. He sat and examined his own wounds. Only a few scratchs from being throw into and out of a bush. Nothing to major. He had noticed earlier that Amira had bite wounds on her neck from that stupid male. Shaking the anger from his head, he looked out into the forest to see if he could spot any type of helpful herb through the rain.

Sigal twitched slightly every time a rain drop hit her, but this was still more important. She wanted to be really really sure that crazy modi wasn't going to come for them!
She closed her eyes and started breathing regularly, but it was so hard to push back all of her worries. She was just so terrified that the crazy modi or a mountain lion or something else scary was going to come for her or Daddy!

Sigal didn't know how she could relax until someone proved that the crazy modi was gone. But she couldn't get her proof until she relaxed! It just wasn't fair! Wasn't there some easier way to do this? Sigal swished her tail rapidly in annoyance. She wondered why no one had suggested going back to the clearing and looking. Maybe because they were all secretly afraid that the crazy modi really still was there, and they were only telling her this stuff to make her calm down? She wasn't a kit anymore! She wanted everyone safe, but she didn't want to be lied to!
((Quick, guys, think of reasons for Sigal to not go look and thus ruin the moment! gonk ))

Loki noticed her twitching. "Sigal, he said sternly, "I know it's hard to sit here and do nothing, but if you leave here, how do you think your father would react? I doubt he condones disobeying those trying to keep you safe. I promise Sigal, they are fine. I heard it with my own two ears."

"Then why can't we all go back and look as a group? If we go as a group, we won't get lost again! Or are you afraid the crazy modi really is there?" Sigal knew that it was stupid to challenge an elder like that, but she didn't see how he could possibly have heard all of this stuff and known what it meant, and heard it over the storm, too! And of course, she couldn't hear what was happening for herself. Maybe she was supposed to hear something, and think it was what Loki said it was. Well she wasn't going to fall for it!
((I'm sorry, I couldn't stop her! You guys have fun trying. >.< Why do all of my second gen characters end up being such stupid brats? gonk ))
