"I will never forget that," she said hugging her gentler counterpart firmly, burying her face in the onyx tresses of her lover. "So long as I have you in my heart, I'll never forget."
She kissed the slender neck as water washed up against their legs. The sand lightly scoured at her skin, only magnifying the glowing radiance of her skin. Compared to Aasritha though, she was a bronze idol before a golden goddess.

"You're so beautiful Red."
She laughed lightly as Red held her.
"But why are you holding me so tight?"
She smiled as she looked down on Red. She never knew she could achieve such an elevated state of happiness with any one person. She wanted to spend the rest of eternity in Red's presence. But for now, she would settle for these few glorious moments.

Without answering, Red changed her position, lowering Aasritha to the sand as the water washes up on shore. Lying her left side against her lover, half on top of her, she pressed her entire body against her brown skinned beauty.
"Because if it were up to me I'd never have to let go. Since I do though, I'll hold on as tight as I wish." Her head came down again for a tender kiss, right arm reaching suggestively up her dress, stroking her thigh intimately.
"Beauty only reflects beauty. What you see in me is only a fraction of what you emit to the rest of the world."

She blushed furiously, though it was hard to tell through her golden skin. Red thought she was beautiful. And her body felt strangely warm.
"no... Red, you are beautiful. I am merely lucky to be able to gaze upon you."
Their skin was touching gently, such a soft touch, but one that led to shivers up her spine. She was too shy to respond to Red directly, but she lifted her head slowly and kissed Red tenderly on the lips.

She didn't even continue with words, but instead kept kissing her lover as their hair got lost within one another. Her fingers tickled the top of her thigh, creeping slowly until her hand caught hold of the inside of her leg; a soothing grasp that full of passion, but lacking the lust she usually took with her to the bedroom.
Her entire body was now pressed against the young one, the water blanketing their forms and holding them together. Playfully, as she lifted her head, she caught her black haired mistress's lower lip and began to tug gently.

She cried out in passion and surprise with her body. There were so many emotions rushing through her and the gentle caress of the ocean did not help to soothe her excitement. Red was loving her in a way she found so different from her own. As she arched her back she let her body enjoy all the different sensations she didn't even realize she was experiencing. The cool water, the gentle breeze, the rough warm sand, and Red. Red, Red, Red... It was almost too much for her.

As she lifted her body she purred gently into Aasritha's ear. For all the hate she felt for the world, this one woman, young though she was, had about an equal amount of love pouring out of Red's heart. She was happy to be alone with only this girl as her companion. The voices didn't bother her as much with Aasritha around. The pain didn't hurt as much and the loneliness waned.
"Why do I feel so alive with you? Every moment with you is," she decided not to say aloud what it was she thought at that very moment. Her body temperature was rising, her blood racing, and she felt a desire to become a carnal beast there on the seashore. However for all her passion, she was in a place technically visible to the public.
Her hands tugged at the dress from beneath, but did not dare remove them. Rising to her feet, she took Aasritha hands in hers, wishing to pull her up and into her arms.
"How about we go home?"

She was a bit afraid of what she felt... but she was much more curious. At this moment she felt like she could and would do anything for Red.
"Every moment is what, love?"
She could barely whisper even that. She lifted herself up and fell into Red's arms. The wind grew strong and blew their hair. It was as if even nature could feel the passion flowing through the two kitsune's veins. And why not? Were their skills both not that of working with nature?
She looked at Red with eyes that said let us do as we wish and share with the world our love. Then she grew shy and hid her feelings and walked proudly beside her lover. If there was a way for lovers to passionately hold hands as they walked, the two seemed to have mastered it. She lowered her head slowly and kissed Red's two beautiful lips.

A cunning smirk etched across the features of Red's face as they kissed again. Each kiss was like tasting amrit and she wished it would never end. Her tongue had slithered to taste the nectar of her lover before she was even aware of it, but she paid it little mind since she was thinking about how to answer the question.
Every moment made her feel beyond alive. Separated from existence maybe. It was as though...
"Every moment is like nirvana again and again. Endless discovered bliss for us and us alone." Her voice practically sang the words as her right hand squeezed lovingly against the one in its grasp.
"But I want more than nirvana right now." With a sly wink she nibbled behind her partner's ears as the sound of a helicopter in the distance finally reached her ears. Being a kitsune though, that chopper was likely still a good means away.

"Red!"
"please help me Red..."
She cried out softly... she needed someone to help her, to hold her. But she couldn't find anyone. She wanted to turn to Red but didn't know how and when she finally decided to come to her for help she wasn't there. Its sad how fate plays with one. She needed someone now but there was no one there. She started to get flashes from her past. Of when she was alone after her lover and master and friends all died. Of her temporary insanity. She cried out again and started to sob. Slowly... sadly. She curled up on the beach her eyes burning and her hair blowing wildly around her tear-streaked face. The sounds of a distant night storm grew louder and stronger. She knew there was no one to comfort her but she felt like she shouldn't cry. She kept in her tears as best as she could and tried to sob quietly and to herself so all the no ones wouldn't hear her, but she failed. The storm grew closer and covered all the diamond-like stars, dark and brutal it was. Lightning flashed, the only illumination now that the moon was hidden. She was slowly changing, gaining more and more fox-like features but remaining herself. Her tears ran down her fur and she let out a heart-wrenching screech, a final cry for help... The storm passed quickly, strangely, once she fell into a deep, much needed sleep.

Awoken by the cool ocean waves gently tickling her feet, she opened her senses to the world around her. Smelling in the lush plants and feeling the warm gritty sand as the wind slowly tousled her hair. Her fox maw opened slightly, panting in the salty ocean breeze. She slowly opened her beautiful eyes and beheld the world as if for the first time. She looked up at the clear sky patched with fluffy cumulus clouds and the brilliant yellow sun. She looked down and saw herself surrounded by thorny vines that seemed to be arranged as a nest or even a barrier around her and they were sprouting the softest white roses sprinkled with gem-like dew. She rose onto her back legs and looked down to see her clothes were in tatters and her body was partially that of a fox and partially human. Her legs were still the powerful dark black fox legs of her but her arms were human though covered in fur. Her chest was covered in fur, which was just as well since her clothes had long since been destroyed. Her head was fox-like... but somewhat different.
She summoned the sign of the Logrus, a powerful three dimensional maze, that once traversed could be used to advantage. Only a true daughter or son of the Logrus could complete it, then use it and she had completed it just a few days before. It had almost destroyed her and she had come to seek Red to help her while she recovered, but Red was nowhere to be found. Through the logrus she reached out and found herself some tattered clothes, a cape and hat, some food, and a menacingly curved sword with matching daggers. She looked out with her Logrus sight and could see where Red had laid magical traps on the island and she could also see that there was no one on the island.
She changed back into a completely human form, completely naked, and dressed herself then equipped her sword to her waist belt and hid her daggers on her person. She started to walk out the nest of roses and they parted for her and started to whither without her presence. She picked one of the purest roses from the bush, held it to her heart, then placed it into her now silvery hair. Leaving a note for Red and planning to stop by an art store she turned from the house. Then as suddenly as she had come, she left.

The place seemed much sadder for some reason. She couldn't put her finger on it first, but as she rose out of the sea water onto the southern beach sands, she felt a deep amount of emphatic sadness as though her lover had been in pain. Of course her nose caught the scent easily and she knew immediately her instincts were correct. Leisurely she walked the coast, following Aasritha's scent until she came upon a letter. Picking it up, her heart began to pound in her chest and her ears stood upright as a deep fear that something horrible had happened came over her.
Upon reading the contents of the note, she took a deep sigh of relief and she relaxed, her tail swinging to the left lazily, and giving up just as easily. The young one was alright, but apparently was a bit overworked earlier and wound up quite at her limit. She was likely at home now though, working on her beautiful artwork. Thank the great Mother Goddess for that.
Another sigh and her ears twitched at the unpleasant sound of machinery further inland. How much longer would she have to endure that noise, she wondered. It was offending to her senses, and all it did was make her all the more impatient; not for them to be done, but for them to get the hell of her island and go do something else she paid them for.
For now, all she could do was ignore them and enjoy herself. There was plenty of island afterall. Maybe a walk upriver or something to clear her mind. She still had to consult Valin about Rutum, not to mention sniffing out her mentor with a idea that had come across her mind not too long ago. There was also Hasamoto who she hadn't come across in some time. It would be rude, considering his culture, not to say something soon. A conference was coming up, another negotiations meeting, and she still had to re-evaluate her training.
Sometimes it wasn't worth it being so busy. The more priorities she took on, the more came her way. Maybe it would be a good idea to start shunning the less important matters, but she knew that would just burden her with separating significant matters from lesser ones. Either way she went, she would have to deal with it all anyway. Such an irritating thought.

The water pulls her out of the hypnotic gaze of the clear sky above, which had almost succeeded in lulling her to sleep. Can't say she was disappointed about that fact - either of them - as she had nothing in particular to do at the moment. A nice nap on the beach with her beloved could be the one thing that might complete this very lazy day. They haven't a day alone for some time now. Nights, yes, but not a day where you could go somewhere, do something, even as menial as grocery shopping or cruising through the mountains for no real reason. Of course they could do those things at night too, but there was a very clear contrast experiencing sunlight and moonlight. They both served excellent purposes for differing moods and there was no real need for more of one or another.
Her feet became instantly colder again and these ruminations were pushed aside as the flowing tide water gently ebbed back to the sea. She could feel her skin tingling with warmth, but she was not concerned with the intensity of the sun at all. There was a bottle of suntan lotion somewhere on her left and a little water on her feet sure as hell wasn't about to wash it off. As her hair had chosen to fall over her eyes a bit she decided to brave a chance at gazing at the fire ball in the sky. Still much too bright to look at, even through thousands of strands of hair. Well that was perfectly fine. She didn't need to look at it to know it was there.
Some crashing noise made her ears wriggle atop her hair as though struggling vainly to detach from her scalp. She cursed the construction going on, wishing they'd either give up the project of be done with it. Patience for them was something she had run out of long ago for them. Were she not so soft, she might pick one out to make a nice corpse, but she had no reason to kill anyone that didn't challenge her and there weren't many she knew that brave. Her physical and magical power had gifted her with quite a bit of corporate influence she had no shame in using to get what she wanted. Soon she'd have her hands as far into politics as she wanted it for the time. One could never be too careful despite how powerful they were and though she was pretty comfortable where she sat, someone somewhere still had enough power to destabilize her empire of tall buildings, little people, paperwork, and rubber stamps.
No matter. She had her woman, her business, and her own island. Interestingly, were one to take the last two from her, she'd likely not care too much. Though her motives for building up so much power were unclear, she was sure without it everything would still be quite fine, so without a care she shifted about in the white sands, bending her right leg slowly to brush with her left as she gazed back out to the sky. It was a nice day.
Why she had chosen to wear a sari though...

Lazily she turned her head to the left, facing a rather lazy hand which connected to an equally lazy arm that just lay there, fingers slightly bent in what she could only assume was their idle position as she hadn't made them straighten or curl. Curious that when left alone they did something quite unlike either of those two poses. Her deep, bold red eyes glowed with a calm resolve of contentment as she lay lost in her absence of thoughts. Sometimes being able to actually not think was nice. Rare for her, her body had chosen by instinct alone to stay that way as long as it could afford, the result being the image of flawless beauty; untainted by rage, pain, desire, or fateful understanding. All she could do was stare at the feminine digits of her smooth fingers as though she wasn't quite sure she did or did not recognize them.
With a deep sigh, her breasts rose as though to break free of their binding which hugged her so tightly, it exposed every seamless curve it clung to. She was feeling rather pretty today. Not pretty...beautiful. That's what Aasritha would tell her if she were here right now. Another sigh, a content one as something in her was clearly still thinking, outside of her, but clearly within.
If she could appreciate the feel of her own body, she certainly might have tried at that moment as everything about her felt like heaven. Those beautiful ruby locks like streaming cloud rivers, so soft and light, fluffy when one raked their fingers through. Large pointy ears with fur that felt just as velvety when you rubbed them, so finely care for one could not find a single stray strand anywhere. Skin given just the tenderest kiss from the sun made her glow so radiantly that anything near her seemed significantly more pleasant to look upon. So soft and unblemished, smooth and most always emitting the light and never overpowering perfume of her flesh that could still even berserk beasts. From head to toe she was clothed in that skin, but it was her legs she loved so much; long and slender and delicate. The way they felt when they rubbed against one another was especially pleasing. To think that she could be such a horrible woman was beyond the comprehension of any onlooker. Nothing about her said fierce or intimidating, not even her eyes.
Breathing slowly, she felt the warm moist air dance around her fingers as they wriggled about as though lazily trying to catch whatever felt so good. Even her breath was paradise right now. The large round eyes which were usually thin, narrow, and condescending blinked slowly like a child in the middle of some wonderful activity of personal and unforeseen discovery. She soaked in everything about what she saw, even the individual grains of sand that held her up without complaint. How her hand glowed when juxtaposed to it.

It had been at least a month since they had last seen each other, and so much had happened to Aasritha in that time. She had gained, or perhaps merely released, so much power within her in the Courts of Chaos... and yet she knew it was only her mother's genetic gift she had unlocked. Her heritage through her father had only shown itself so far as her kitsune ears and tail. Red would be surprised at her hair color, she thought, and decided to make the change less sudden. Concentrating slowly as she walked through the dense foliage behind the beach her silvery hair seemed to shine darker and darker in the sun, melting away to its original dark raven black but leaving a thick silver colored bang framing the left side of her face. Her ears and tail too changed back from silver with black tips to black with silver tips. It was one of the things she realized she could do with her Chaosite blood... change form. A fleeting thought ran through her head as she recalled her shape shifting abilities... she could change her breast size. She lightly laughed off her silly idea as she walked closer to the beach. Somehow, in her excitement to see Red she hadn't noticed that wherever she stepped she seemed to be leaving a glowing trail of flowers and vines that died as she stepped away...
Ah, there she was. The beauty with the glistening ruby hair. Her Red. She so wanted to rush out and surprise her... but she looked so peaceful. She approached slowly, drinking in the scene with great thirst. Red was sitting on the beach, her hair blowing about wildly and the waves rushing up to greet her perfect, soft little toes. Her fingers buried in the warm, rough sand. The sky, a most perfect blue with not a cloud detracting from the color. And the sun was shining ahead of them so the illusion of surprising her lover would last. She walked up slowly then sank down slowly into the sand by Red, pushing her hands through the sand till their fingers touched.
"Its been a while hasn't it, Red?"
