Finally hearing the sound Nadyrr looks toward it, placing a reassuring hand on Elanin's arm he moves between her and the howling. Some might see this as a protective gesture and in his own way he was protective, but he also wanted to be the first to see whatever was making that sound.

Grave started when he heard his name, and glanced around with skittish darting eyes. Oh, it was only Morrow, thank goodness for that. Grave offered a small inviting smile. He wanted to hear Lelaus' explanaton for the sound he'd heard.
"What was what? I didn't hear anything. It's prolly just the Scorched Souls screaming again."
Scorched Souls? What was this place??

Elanin relaxed a little bit, having Nadyrr get between her and the noise, she smiled at him. "Thanks," She smiled. She could honestly say that she liked Nadyrr, he was a good friend.

"Scorched Souls?" Aysel asked, shivering once more. That sounded...interesting, at least, but no less scary. How could a soul be scorched? "Professor..." she called, her voice trembling slightly, "What exactly is a Scorched Soul....and what makes them howl so?" She put her hand over the one Antigone had grabbed her coat with, rubbing the back on her hand, both for the sake of her friend's reassurance and her own.

Nadyrr's eyes widened, "Scorched souls?!" It all sounded so exciting, he looked back into the darkness with wonder. More quietly to Elanin, "sounds like something that would be interesting to see." his voice is filled with wonder as he speaks to her eyes still wide with excitement. The spooky stuff didn't scare him but rather had a much different effect.
