Lt. Lavendulan - Half Youma 5+4=9
If you roll between a 4-7 you feel that the ground nearby you shifted, and while you didn't fall through a chasm it has left you off balance and disoriented. You receive no damage but you feel one of the shadow creatures behind you. You still cannot see anything, but it is stomping at the ground, headbutting and thrashing the air--and you. You need to move out of this area before the ground collapses. Your best bet is to make it to the center of the stage; the ground might be spinning, but at least it's still stable.
Laven didn’t even have a chance to put the cuff on her ear before the ground beneath them shifted.
Again, she felt as something slammed into her back, nearly causing her to drop Wolframite’s earring into one of the cracks that fractured near them. Never had she been more thankful for the scales on her back otherwise a normal hit like that could have caused her to slip a disc
Flanked on either side by both a Captain and friend, Lavendulan hastily put the cuff on her ear before the shadows had another chance to jar her again. Her hands were shaky but it slid into place securely.
The link was instant, like before she felt Wolframite in her mind.
While her own thoughts and emotions were in a sea of turmoil with her youma nature fighting to take over so the young girl could simply hide in the safety of the watery depths. He stood strong against the storm, his presence a beacon of light for her to focus on and hold on to before she drowned again.
I’m sorry... There was a pang of deep-seeded guilt and fear that filtered through the tether. Both he, and Lopezite, had spent time to help her train and when the moment came to put their lessons to use she froze. Rather than fight, she wished more than anything she could sprout those leatherly wings and fly away. But she was a child of the water not sky and was not built for such things.
Knowing he would need the use of his claws, Laven hand held fast onto his uniform sleeve with one hand and sought out Tinakesite’s with her other. Her hands trembled, but for now, that was something that simply could not be helped as she relied on them to guide her to the platform ahead.

Myrrha was still glad she'd run into Sessrumnir because at least their nerdy banter was keeping the situation light and meant they had less time to dwell on what was really occurring around them. At present the teen had to wonder if loosing off an attack would affect whatever these shadow creatures were. Did they have a sense of smell? Still holding onto the end of the chain that had been passed to her before Myrrha moved forward a little before glancing back at Sessrumnir. Her lips twitched in a smile at the two possible alien races he'd named and she had to chuckle, "definitely, the Borg are out. It could be species eight-four-seven-two. Tough to say really."
The distraction technique was working up til this point and as Myrrha turned in a circle to figure out just what was coming next the sound of something shifting, cracking and just altogether splintering off was enough to get her legs moving. A creature that had been possibly investigating close nearby took exception to her moving away and tried to knock her off stride. As if the shifting ground wasn't doing that already. Holding tightly to the chain in her hands Myrrha was able to keep her balance but just barely. Figuring it wouldn't hurt to try and help Sessrumnir the super senshi yanked on the chain hard, hoping that her strength would aid the Jupiterian Knight across any rough patches. Hopefully the idea would work. For now it seemed like it was time to go.
A brief flashback of being in another situation with being in a dark void and in risk of the ground shattering under one's feet had Myrrha on edge. That void seemed entirely different from this one but there seemed to be similarities too.
Guine
Figured since Sessrumnir and Myrrha rolled in the same 'zone' that she could have tried to "help" him across the shifting ground

Mia Seidel* RNG:2 6
If this Ananke knew any more about what Adorea was intending, she sure didn't clue Mia in. It looked like she was being sized up for a photo op or something similar. Well, the guess was close. An apparently this woman liked to speak about herself in the third person. Was she narrating her life to cheer them up somehow?
As she mused, the adventurer was surprised to feel her pain lessening. What in the world was that? A smile that could make someone feel so good that their wounds literally began to heal themselves? She shot a sideways glance to Ananke to see if the same was occurring or if she was imagining things. The effects seemed the same.
Magic.
The explanation shouldn't have seemed so strange in some nightmare world blanketed in darkness and filled with creatures hunting everyone. Hell, Mia herself had seen some strange ancient defenses in some of her expeditions. And speaking of nightmares...
The ground had begun to tremble. There was cracking and shaking all around, and it nearly felt as though the realm itself was spinning. Adorea suddenly plunged downward as the rock split, barely catching herself on a handhold. Mia's immediate response was to start forward to grab her indisposed companion, and one of the creatures' answer in turn was to headbutt the historian in the back, sending her tumbling again.
With the spinning of the earth and her momentum, she nearly went over the same edge to which the redhead was clinging. The same bruises and aches that just literally just been alleviated returned with a vengeance, but Mia threw out a hand to Adorea all the same.
"Let's go!" she huffed with a grimace.
Despite their aggression, the shadow monsters seemed more interested in headbutting anything nearby, including the rocks supporting them. It was almost like they were terraforming, pushing everyone inward toward flickering witchlights that had appeared in the same direction as the creepy carnival music.
The herding theory seemed more sound by the minute, but it wouldn't matter if they all fell into the abyss before they could find the prize toward which they were being shuttled.

Why was there always creepy carnival music? He supposed it was better than… chain saws… or the sound of knives being sharpened or growling even, but Sessrumnir couldn’t help but think whoever was behind this needed to be a little more creative.
Or really just needed to stop this.
“Whoa, hang on,” he said as everything started moving, although it seemed as though Myrrha already knew what she was doing well enough. His hands tightened around the chain of his weapon, using it to keep himself steady as well.
“If you want, you can hold my hand,” Sessrumnir offered, since while the chain had its uses, he had intended for more than just the two of them to hold onto it through the darkness. It looked like others had already managed to figure out what they were doing, or just didn’t trust anyone else at the moment, which Sessrumnir couldn’t blame them for.
“Might be easier to keep balance that way.” If things got really rough, he would offer to carry her if necessary. She looked young, probably still high school, or early college. Meanwhile, he was reaching mid-thirties.

Peter felt the ground shake and shift, Briar being pulled almost entirely from his grasp, but he managed to grab onto one of his arms at the last moment before he slipped away completely. A chasm seemed like it was opening up around them, and for Briar underneath him.
“I don’t think so,” he said as he pulled Briar back up with him, although he wasn’t fairing any better than him or Haven. Lysithea seemed to be okay at least. He would have tried to grab hold of Haven as well, but Lysithea seemed eager to help.
“No worries, I’ll be okay,” he said, sealing his promise with a thumbs up. He staggered a bit, but it wasn’t too horrible. At least they managed to not fall into the openings. With Haven and Lysithea’s suggestions, Peter gestured ahead of them, still holding onto Briar until he was certain the other had better footing. “After you.”
Aquamarine’s annoyance/concern matched Ilian’s as he made another attempt to power up, but to no avail. He cursed under his breath, and shot a glare in Aquamarine’s direction when he grabbed hold of his arm to drag him as if he was a child.
Yet he didn’t argue at the moment. Had it been Jericho he probably would have been kicking his feet about now. Then again, Jericho had dealt with him much longer than Lovely.
And then everything seemed to shift. Something was playing off-key music in the distance, and then everything suddenly jerked, the ground cracking apart beneath him.
And pulling him by his ankle.
Ilian let out a startled gasp as he was jerked away from Aquamarine’s grasp, who didn’t seem to have any issues with the spinning darkness. Whatever it was, he jabbed the heel of his other foot at it, trying to pull himself away, clawing onto the ground and whatever he could reach to get back up to his feet.
When the creatures started after him, he kicked at them again, anger matching the fear he felt. If this was Negaverse operated, he was going to be seriously pissed.

Makemake

Makemake just looked at this other senshi as if she had grown a second head.
You are so naive. We'll have to fix that. She thought, just as the ground started shifting.
The already disorientating landscape seemed to be moving. Somehow she managed to stay on her feet, but she felt something behind her. She chanced a look over her shoulder, but...couldn't see anything, even though she could feel it stomp and flail about, as if mocking her earlier tantrums.
"We need to move!"

Sailor Ananke of Portals Rolls: 3+ 8
Ananke blinked as Adorea did a pose but could only gasp as the ground crumbled around her. "Watch out!" She quickly ran forward and grabbed onto her wrist. "Hold on... guh man the next time we decide to meet up again maybe it should be somewhere nice for a change," Ananke said trying to make light of the situation they were in.

Sailor Alcor - Senshi of Cold -> Liryn 7+6=13
If you roll between a 4-7 you feel that the ground nearby you shifted, and while you didn't fall through a chasm it has left you off balance and disoriented. You receive no damage but you feel one of the shadow creatures behind you. You still cannot see anything, but it is stomping at the ground, headbutting and thrashing the air--and you. You need to move out of this area before the ground collapses. Your best bet is to make it to the center of the stage; the ground might be spinning, but at least it's still stable.
When the ground shifted and a fault split open beside her, Alcor, out of instinct, held on tighter to her sisters’ hand. “This feels very dejavu” she admitted with a dry sense of humor.
This moment, except for the music, felt reminiscent of the time they had entered the Dark Kingdom and fought off the scorpion youma only to have the floor beneath them crumble beneath their feet as everyone rushed for the door. “You were significantly smaller then and easier to carry.” It had sadly been long enough since she last saw Liryn that she had admittedly forgotten he had a human form; which explained why her sister was the first to recognize his face.
The memory caused her stomach to churn and so she pushed the two forward towards the center stage with the other lights were gathering.

Sailor Eleonora - Senshi of Heat -> Liryn 7+9=16
If you roll between 8-10 you feel the turbulence of the ground moving, but the patch of land you are on is stable--for now. You may already be on the spinning platform and suffer no damage, but if you aren't you need to make it to the center of the stage; the ground might be spinning, but at least it's still stable. You may have mild disorientation but suffer no real damage. Without the shadow creatures bothering you, you notice something strange in the distance: small sparks and tiny glowing orbs that seem to flicker in and out of existence like little wisps of fire bursting to life and immediately burning out.
Eleonora looked back over her shoulder and could see the fear in her sister’s eyes. She understood that Alcor was trying to be brave for both her and Liryn’s sakes by hiding behind them but Ele could also feel her twins hand shake as she pushed them forward.
It pained her heart knowing that there was very little she could do until they got out of here. As the older of the two Alcor had always been the brave one, taking on the almost motherly role to keep her out of trouble. But sometimes, it was her fear that held her back from experiencing life.
Yes, had she’d listen to her twin they likely wouldn’t be here but it also meant that Liryn may have ended up here alone. It was reasons such as this why they should continue to grow as senshi so they weren’t helpless or the ones needing rescuing.
When Eleonora paused to turn around and take her sisters hand, the ground beneath them lurched. Alcor’s arms pinwheeled to help her keep upright but Ele was quick to grab onto her, and Liryn, as the ground around them began to break apart and crumble.
She heard screaming as people slipped into the crevasse but for now her focus was making sure the three of them didn’t fall in. “I got you!”
“Don’t go falling in you two.” It nearly gave her a heart attack the last time something like this happened. The last thing she wanted was a near repeat of that incident.

As she awaited an answer from Arthur, Nia felt the ground moving beneath her, not enough so that she was thrown off -- not really -- but enough so that her head began to hurt, bringing her hands up to rub at her temples as if that would drive the pain away.
"I think we should probably move that way," she said, pointing towards the center of everything, trying to ignore the sound of the music playing, her heart racing as she tried to control her own fear.
She could see wisps of light flickering about them, in the distance, but she didn't comment, instead focusing on remaining upright.

Arthur the Humanoid Guardian
"No. I'm not going anywhere if I can help it. It's just in case we get seperated. Brioche is more nimble and fast than I am and will have a better chance of sticking with you. I'm rather clumsy and awkward in this form. I'm just concerned. That's all." He said as he petted her head.
And as if to answer his concern, the ground started to quaked, turn, and splinter. Great cracks s**t out wood and stone as they split the ground around them. Poly was quick with the suggestion.
"You're right. Let's go. Run. I'm right behind you." He wanted to be sure she didn't fall behind.

Lazurite frowned slightly at the look she was being given, and then attempted a smile, working hard to look as though she didn’t mind being stared at as if she were crazy. “Yeah…”
They did need to move. The ground was beginning to rumble, and she felt more…more somethingsI behind her and she didn’t like it. Quickly she looked around, and it looked like there was a more stable area of ground ahead, though…it seemed like…it was spinning.
“…It’s not shaking so much over there, come on!”
She grabbed the other corrupt’s hand and began moving towards the spinning center of the ground.
“…do you think this is some kind of…haunted carousel or something? That’s what the music sounds like…and it’s…it’s spinning…?”

Well. If this wasn’t a test, that meant that it was real. And if it was real, that meant it could truly be dangerous…and that wasn’t something that Alpersite quite wanted to think about at this moment in time. But at least he knew that he had someone there who would have his back…and someone here who he could try to protect, and it was easier to think about protecting someone else, you saw more that way. Things you could miss if you were only looking out for yourself.
He was about to say more when suddenly he felt himself stumble as the ground moved under him. Or near him. Close enough that it was more under his feet than not. “s**t.”
Was it an earthquake? That was the very last thing that they needed in this mad funhouse was an earthquake…and that music needed to stop…it was like the stuff of nightmares.
There was something behind him too and he felt the hair on the back of his neck and his arms standing on end. “…Lopezite, we’ve got to move…it sounds like the ground is cracking and I think…” He saw the strange, spinning area ahead. “It’s not shaking so much there…”
