Aten had taken his time picking through all the different booths and merchants selling their wares, trying to pick something out for Cassie that he thought might suit her. But as he found himself circling and circling the same stalls over and over again, he realized fairly quickly that there was only one thing he knew for sure she'd really like ...
"Well ... " the imp sighed softly, resigning himself to picking up another one of those smutty romance books. "At least Cassie will get some use out of this ... "
When she had first heard about the Jubilee she was torn about going. It would be a really good chance to get out into this new world that had been hidden behind the sandstorm. The more she thought about it, the more exciting it seemed. Her entire life it had only been the Bakaneko and the Nagas...now though there were so many more races to see! As Nef entered the Jubilee a wave of emotions flowed through her. There had been events and parties back home...but there were just so many different races in one room! Wide-eyed and busy tailed she made her way through the crowd. Noticeably staring and mentally cataloging all the different types of people she saw.
It was so weird...there were students with wings...and all of these unfamiliar smells! She was actually really happy that she came to this get together, it was all so exciting! Then she saw them: all of the different stuffed animals. Immediately she scurried over to the booth, doing her best to stand on her tippy toes to see over the edge. "I want that vespercat!" Nefertiti snatched it off the table, hugging it close to her chest.
Ivory pulled her sister into the jubilee and looked around excited to see what was going on "wow look at this all!" she said turning briefly to look at her sister. There was quite a few people coming into the room and it was just so interesting to see.
"Do you have to drag me to every one of these Ivory" Ebony mutters as her sister pulls her into this room full of people. The people around them did not interest her at all but there was some sparkly lockets that did catch her eyes.
Peeking around the corner of the door Nylea pulled her favorite plushie into the room with her. "Hi!" she said to the nearest person she met, bouncing on her feet interested to meet everyone around her.
Arivan slipped in and around people's legs soon ahs found the table covered in treats and her want for goodies got the best of her and she pulled one off the table and settled down to munch
Mitsie snuck in, like the winter party she still hated crowds but she didn't want feel left out.
Tempest slinks into the room she could see many of her classmates she debated who to see about visiting. Tempest wandered past a table full of plushies and smiled moving to take one.
Xris shuffles into the room avoiding people around him as he manouvered into the room. He had the munchies and soon found himself something to munch on thanking the person manning the tables.
Morginn decided to browse a bit more. It was a shame he didn't have anyone to hang out with, festivals were more fun when you had someone to attend them with. Maybe he'd get lucky and run into Kaoru. The Imp did live nearby, and he couldn't see him passing up on the opportunity to spend some time at the festival with Hikaru. Oooh, wasn't there supposed to be a plushie-making booth somewhere around here, for people who wanted to hand-make a gift? He should find and do that! On his way he passed a person with a basket handing out free bracelets. There were tons of cute colors, so Morginn happily picked one out and slipped it on his wrist.
Freddy was back into the festival and ready to look at more games! He'd gotten his new nezubat settled in his dorm with some food, and so far things seemed promising! He came across an interesting game where you got to throw a ball at some bottles in an attempt to knock them down. It seemed like a blast, so he gave it a shot. Sadly his lack of height and his freshling strength meant that he didn't do as good at this game as he had with the beanbag toss, but the guy in charge of the booth let Freddy pick a bracelet as a prize. Not particularly his style, but maybe he could give it to a friend. Mana was probably missing the whole festival.
As Freddy wandered about, looking for another game to play, something caught his eye. Over by a table full of plushies was a cute freshling with....a split tail? He instantly perked up, excited. He'd heard of new races joining the Academy, but this was his first time seeing one of them! He walked over, super excited, and instantly launched into an introduction.
"Hi! My name's Freddy! You must be new here, I've never met anyone like you before!" His broad grin was, he hoped, friendly. "I won a bracelet at a game earlier. Would you like it?" He offered the pinkish red bracelet to the freshling, hoping it made a nice gesture of friendship.
For Nefertiti, if she wants it.

It wasn't often that Rajna took a break from gaming. She was like an elusive animal, often heard of but rarely seen as she crawled her way out of her dorm room to venture through the festivities at the Hunter's Jubilee festival.
Rajna didn't have many friends to go with, and so decided to awkwardly go by herself and see what there was to do.
Not really much to Rajna's surprise, there was plenty of food and booths for cheap games and plushies and prizes of all sorts that could be won if you could fork out enough cash to beat the odds. Unlike online gaming, Rajna found the stalls at fairs were often rigged and rather disliked them. So, instead, Rajna wandered in to the merchant's hall to see what she could find there. Perhaps somebody here was selling something similar to one of the nezubat plushies she had seen online.
After a bit of looking around, sure enough, there was an artist who had hand-sewn a cute little nezubat, all blue and adorable! Rajna B-lined for the table and tugged on her bag to pull out her change purse.
"How much?" she asked without really giving any details about what exactly she was looking to buy. After the artist stared up at Rajna for a little while with a rather owlish expression, Rajna realized her error and gave a small laugh.
"Sorry! My bad, my bad! The blue cute little fluffy thing you have there! I'd like to buy it from you!" With a rather long-winded "ooooh" from the booth vendor, Rajna quickly exchanged her money for the plushie and stuffed the thing in to her bag. She would have to find Arden later and give it to him. She figured he'd like it.

‘I think or at least I am hoping that spice doesn’t really care as long as no one usurps his spot as a hat, or at least I’m hoping. I’m also hoping this is the fruit loving kind of nezubat. I would think since they were selling fluffbugs too at a different booth and it’s a bit poor to sell them and then give freshlings the insect eating kind of nezubat.” He would hope that Miss Ava would have a problem considering a lot of freshlings would be heartbroken if their bat ate their fluffbug, especially among the Fey who weren’t probably quite as knowledgeable about the below dwelling Nezubats.
Suddenly worried about Atre, Leto hurried back to the booth to ask. He got his hair ruffled for his attempts and a reassurance that his Fluffbug was not going to be eaten. “Atre’s not going to be eaten. That’s good and yeah its best we get them settled. They’re kind of really heavy and now Chani wants to make a point of being queen verspercat or whatever she’s doing. Plus getting a coat would be wonderful. Mom sent me a couple packages of hot chocolate. I could make them up and get us go mugs?”
Ganymede was going to wait and see if Foras would notice him, but he soon realized that was a bad idea, and had decided to move locations before his rambunctious roommate could spot him. He just so happened to be in the process of doing so when he was flagged down by a baphomet he didn't recognize.
He narrowed his eyes, squinting almost in suspicion as he eyed the plush. What was it with people and giving him plushtoys? Ah well, it would be rude to decline it, so he nodded his head and held his hand out for it. "Sure, thanks." That was good enough, right? He was about to take it when someone passing by thrust a completely different plush into his waiting hand. Surprised, his markings flared with light for a moment.
WELL. He supposed he had two plushies now. He switched hands to take the plush from the baphomet. "I guess they ordered too many again, huh?" Wait. Maybe this guy wasn't around for Solstice...

EYYYY you get a Ganymede! : DDD
Saerun spotted Husk as he made his way over to her -- it wasn't like he was hard to see. Not many people had his look, after all. She still thought he was weird, but a good sort of weird. She waved a little as he came closer, eyes focusing on the plush for a moment before she narrowed them, brows furrowing. "You found it on a table?" She asked, tilting her head a little. "I shink you were shupposhed to win it, Hushk." Ah well. If it was that big of a deal, they would've caught him.
Speaking of finding plushies - or rather, of plushies finding people, a little fluffbug plushie toppled off a card as it went by, and bopped her head on the way down. She quickly picked it up and turned to give it back, but the person was already swallowed up in the crowd. "Huh... looksh like I got one too." She smiled a little, then held up her bag of candies. "Do you want shome candy? Shey're really good."
Jaden waited while Leto went to the booth to inquire about the dietary habits of his new nezubat. Judging from his expression as he returned it was good news. He nodded enthusiastically at the mention of hot chocolate; it really was getting a bit chilly outside. "That sounds really nice. Will you tell your mom I said thank you," Jaden said as they made their way back into the Academy and towards their dorm. Before they could reach the building a smiling man with a basket full of clear bags loaded with a variety of colorful contents stopped them and asked if they'd like any treats. Jaden ducked his head shyly, but picked out one of the pretty bags with a murmured thanks.
Laviticus clutched the ring to his chest that he had bought at one of the stalls for Charming. He had felt so horrid for missing the last festival, and had hoped to run across Charmstar this time at the party. He didn't know whether or not he would, but he certainly had to try. Besides, this seemed like his kind of event -- he knew how much Charming loved pink things, and the Hunter's Jubilee provided a great deal of pink things to be won and bought.
"YEEEEEEEEEES!" Rhys cried gleefully as he ran through the crowd of people holding his game prize up above his head with a victorious cry. He had won his very first game and was excited to tell his parents what he had won, and even more excited to one day give the plushie to his friend Galan!

You can add this to Galan's collection of items! <3 Rhys is giving it to him~
Korvau had zoned out a little, he'd gotten distracted with watching some nearby balloon booth make balloon animals and pass them out. Boy, when Nex arrived he'd have to ask him to go get one! His daydreaming about acquiring one of those balloon animals was interrupted when a passing adult handed him a pink bracelet. Nice!! He was about to pocket it when Nex appeared, to him, out of nowhere.
Immediately he broke into a grin and squealed. "Nex!! You came!!" He hopped in place a little, but allowed his hand to be taken. He then examined the thing Nex had given him, tail wagging. "Oh!! Oh!!!" He slipped the red bracelet on, and then held out the purple one he'd received. "FOR YOU!!" There! Now they could match!

Somehow he'd gotten himself roped into a dart game - he just... couldn't say no to the game master, no one else had played yet! How sad was that? He'd managed to break a few of the balloons, which earned him a little silver heart locked with a purple gem on the front. Oh... that was pretty.
He carefully folded the chain around it, worried he might ruin it but, well... He didn't really want to _wear_ it. He'd probably give it to Kindle if he saw her-- oh..! He blinked in mild alarm as he noticed the fey girl attempting to weave through the crowds to get to him. Poor Kindle, she was probably terrified. Naturally, that meant he started making his way towards her to meet her in the middle. "K-Kindle..! Hello...!" He smiled a little once they finally met up.
Anchriesel accepted the offered jawbreaker and popped it into his mouth. It was very awkward to talk around, but he managed it. "Yeah. Fkinda fshucky ash an ashignmengd." He was relieved to know that Zalir hadn't liked it either. He liked Zalir. And though it would have been nice to know someone who could help him out with the hard stuff, he was more delighted to know that there was someone here who shared his interests. He flipped over another couple of cards to win a book. "Sho, fwant to go...fplay anover game fomewhere? After our fcurrent roung?"
Zalir's cheeks warmed. "Um, why wait that long?" Oh no. Zeir blush deepened. "Um, we, um, I mean, uh...Idon't...think my luck is, um...let's go do something else."
The Imp didn't seem to notice zeir awkwardness and lead zem to another place, this one with a stack of milk bottles to be knocked over by a ball. Generally, the bottle toss was not Zalir's strong point, but Anchriesel had led zem over here, and it would be churlish to refuse him...um...
The delight over another book wore off and Bath picked up one last dart. After this, he'd have to get in line again or find something else to do. He aimed carefully for a magenta balloon and popped it neatly. It won him another rock--fluorite, if he was any judge. He grinned at the vendor, thanked him, and moved along to the next place. Might as well do something else--maybe the obstacle course? That sounded good. It would...get his mind off of things.
Ustule picked up a toy fishing pole and lowered it into the soapy water. The objective was simple--"catch" a fish with the magnet on the end of the string, win a prize. But after several minutes, Ustule couldn't catch anything. She frowned and waved the magnet over the edges of the bucket.
The vendor let Guereda and Evelyn have another try at the ducks. Supposedly, there was a pair of ducks with three hearts on it--that one earned its winners a small pet. Reda had had a talk with Evey before they came, however, and they agreed: no more pets. They had four already--and with three jackalopes running around the apartment, things were starting to get a little cramped. Reda picked up their ducks, revealing a pair of stars. Another book--well, that was good. Reda was definitely glad of that! This would give them plenty of things to read. This one looked new--was it from the Nixies? Either way, they hadn't read it yet.
Evelyn picked another pair of ducks--different from her first pair--and yet, she still got two hearts on each duck. Another plushie for her sibling! This time, she picked a stuffed rabbit. There would be plenty of rabbits running around the apartment when their little sibling awoke, so why not give them a little (nonliving) rabbit of their own? That was purple, their special color?
Lillian knew that plushies were what all kids were supposed to crave, but really...she liked her Sealpups better. She wasn't one of those kids who needed a plushie all the time. Talya...didn't seem to understand that. She was the exact opposite. "I'm just here for some books," she confessed. "The other stuff...eh, it's not as important to me." Lilli picked up the ball and tossed it at the blocks. It earned her another book--this one had a Grimm on the cover, with a Demon. That was an...unusual combination, wasn't it? Oh well. If it was true love, she supposed she couldn't judge.
Talya rolled her eyes. "Remember that time you got a book and it was all really weird with the adults doing weird stuff to each other because of 'love'?" Lilli obviously did--she blushed. "I dunno. I think that was a grown-up book, and all the books here are grown-up books." She shrugged and picked up another ball to toss. This one hit the topmost layer of blocks, earning her just a bracelet. A pretty bracelet, thank you very much. She slid it on her arm and admired it. "Do you want another go, or would you like to go to the next place over?"
Eidil lead the way to an indoor obstacle course set up on the floor. A Demon running it lazily blew a whistle to start them off. Eidil laughed and pulled ahead of her friend, her tail swaying back and forth to keep her balance. At the end, she was out of breath, bent over with her hands on her knees. But she'd scored another bat! A stuffed bat! She took it from the Demon vendor with a grin and a breathless "thank you!"
Callessa let Eidil pull ahead. There wasn't a lot here she thought she'd like. She would...rather just stand in the back and wait for her friend to pull through. As such, she still had breath at the end. She giggled and pulled Eidil up as she slipped on another bracelet. "Want a rematch?"
Verity set her spoils down next to her slumbering sun, ruffled his ears, and headed off to the next booth. This one was a guess-the-number game. Verity wrote her answer on a piece of card and handed it to the vendor, who nodded. "Close. So close." He offered her a selection of books to choose from--she picked the next one on her list.
Sherald shook her head as her roommate walked away. So paranoid...that was a good trait for a young mother, though. Then she saw a pair of familiar faces in the crowd. "Hey! Eidil, Callessa! Over here!" She waved her arms at the teens, beckoning them closer.
Quilo sighed. Still no sign of her...oh well. Time to start playing some games...
