Junko's request halted Thackery's attacks to the shadow, thankfully. He was kind of embarrassing himself with all the haphazard swinging; it was clear that he wasn't used to fighting.
When she explained that the 'help' she needed was meant for two of the other students in the room, his ears drooped in shame (that he should have already been feeling, with that miserable excuse of an attack stance). He'd failed to realize that someone needed protecting!
"Yeah! I mean, yes, I...wait..." Okay, maybe no talking until he wasn't drowning in dishonor. Averting his gaze, he navigated some of the room rubble until he was between the shadow and his classmates.

Efflo was pushed backwards, still kind of dazed about the whole situation. At least the other student has succeeded in shutting him up for a minute or two.
But the he snapped out of it with a shake of his head, spinning around to face the doggy boil. “We didn’t! And we won’t! It’s a bad idea!” Efflo continued shouting for a minute before he realized his ‘yellee’ had already moved on and was attempting to fight the shadowling.
He hoisted up his waistband with a huff, sent a death glare Gabby’s way then charged back into battle.

Gabby was still trying to wrap his head around what everyone was getting so fussy about. Was that boil seriously trying to sell them the idea that hugs and affection would win a battle? Gabby let out a surprised laugh when Efflo stormed away, pulling up the shreds of pants that just left him looking more ridiculous.
But everyone was back to work on fighting the boss, and despite his earlier hesitance, Gabby knew he wasn't going to let either boil show him up. He tapped Thackery on the head gently with his keyblade, and gave him a smirk. "I don't think he believes you. Maybe I'm not the one you should be trying to get to kiss him. Obviously, you're the only guy around here with the fighting power of love. And Lite Brite's too embarrassed to try it for himself." After all, making Thackery believe further in his misguided beliefs was just going to end up being funnier, in the end. And if it pissed off Efflo? Bonus.
Never one to be beaten, Gabby surged forward, wings snapping out behind him as he slammed his keyblade into the giant monster. It hardly nicked the creature, but that was better than nothing.
Settling his keyblade up on his shoulders, he gave Thackery a sneaky glance. "Maybe you should just kiss the monster to death." If affection was going to win a fight, that seemed the only possible way.
And if not..?

Andrew had backed off and was eyeing Demi with a very weary eye. The hound had thrown his cousin at the boss. He wasn't particularly worried about Danny, she was tougher than bricks, he was worried that the hound would decide he was the next bit of ammo in the room. While Danny was tough, he was small and built for flying not shouldering walls down.
Then cookie ghoul was back and she called over.... another dog. What? "Hey hey, you don't need to... Oh Jack." he tried to scoot away from Thackery. Sure he wanted protection but not by a mutt. Why were there so many dogs in the room? "I don't like dogs." he muttered.
"And I don't like dying students. Eat up." As Argyle had put it, deal with it. Junko handed the boil another spookie.

Diana could not help a small glare in Danny's direction when she saw the damage to Damien's tail. How dare she hurt a fluffy in front of her... and then to saw it looked like a barbequed foxfire on top of that... the nerve. She was just about to say something about this when Damien then used the offender as ammo. That was new to her, however she found herself grinning as Danny went flying at the creature. "Serves her right for hurting a fluffy around me.. even if it was accidental." She muttered to herself as a new boil entered the room and drew her attention away from those she had been talking with.
It was another hell hound, this one it seemed had multiple fluffy tails coming out of his butt. "Jack... I think the world is out to get me today.. So many fluffy things..." She murmured to herself as she somehow managed to tear her eyes away from the cute sight. This was definitely not her day, shadow creatures eating her clothes hoard, fluffy tails, shadow creatures eating the club rooms, more fluffy tails, even larger shadow creatures, and even more fluffy tails.. did she forget to mention that this place seemed to collect fluffys? Jack, her weakness for soft and cuddly things was starting to get to her.
She shook her head to clear it, this was not the time to be thinking about such things. She needed to focus on taking this creature down. Then she could think about glomping all the other fluffy dog tails she had yet to glomp. With that thought she mantled her wings once more and jumped into flight towards the large creature. Putting her fear into her hit again she swings at its head, or what she was assuming was it's head as that was where the glowing eyes were. Only to find that her blow only glanced the thing's head, causing more of her replicated coins to tumble down it's body as it seemed completely unaffected by the 'hit' if you could call it that. Growling she lands next to the male flame demon, just far enough away that if he was to get angry she wouldn't get flamed and panted. She did not think she was doing any good at this.

The hilt of Lizzy's keyblade looked like... A black widow with webbing between its legs, although it was not because her roleplayer wasn't good at thinking of creative designs. Nope. The rest of it was jet black, with an almost unnoticeable red hourglass mark near the tip.
"Of course, Lattice!" She answered, and would hug the ghoul if it wasn't so... Inconvenient to do so at the moment.
Although her soulmate was busy with helping everyone out, Lizzy felt a little ashamed that she hadn't been doing much... Thus she decided to go into overdrive, hurrying over to the nearest person who seemed like she might need her help - or otherwise, really.
"YOU GET A HEAL," She exclaimed, gently prodding a pretty winged ghoul on her arm with her keyblade, because that's how these things work, right?

"YOU GET A HEAL-" Lizzy was about to prod another ghoul when she realized that she looked like she was in really bad shape. This would require more than one of her soulmate's amazing cookies, or a prod from the keyblade firmly held in her hand.
Kneeling down beside the brave patchwork ghoul, she couldn't help but smile; she was reminded suddenly of Amrita, when she's being determined about something. She placed a hand over the ghoul's, hoping that she didn't mind being touched, "Hey, don't push yourself too hard. Here-"
She then concentrated her Fear, sending it down her fingers and into the patchwork. After a few seconds, her Fear worked their way to her cuts and smaller wounds, pulling them close with a temporary stitch, the fine threads resembling spider silk.

Diana blinked as she felt a hand touch her arm and the feeling of being healed went through her. Looking to the ghoul beside her she smiled slightly. "Thank you. That helped a lot." she told her with a nod knowing that such help was much appreciated. Then she watched as the ghoul moved off to help someone else before taking her position once more. Taking another flying leap at the creature she swung her blade once more at it's head, this time forgoing sending her fear though the blade as it had not seemed to help much. This time when she arrived at her target and swung though she found she actually hit and she could not help the grin that went over her face as she landed. That was more like it.

The Patchwork was more than a little exasperated by the students she was watching. There was a giant shadow in the room and they were arguing about flames? She kept her mind to herself, mostly avoiding the shadowlings with running. Because screaming would probably not help in this case, though she did swing her sword a little.
She jerked a bit at the touch of Lizzy, looking over, and smiled tiredly. "Thank you." She said, straightening a bit as the feeling of almostdeathomfj;; faded away. She swung the sword experimentally, mindful of Lizzy being, y'know. Right there. And grinned.
"We're gonna win this." She said matter-of-factly. It was almost dead; probably as tired as they were.
"If you'll excuse me…" Protected and healed by her battle mates, Steffani moved forward, sidestepping a few of the students and swinging sharply at the Shadow. It was really time to end this. She struck the shadow sharply, thankful for the dog boil's protecting. It'd be nice to not die before this thing.

They strange key-sword Siddie picked up, almost hesitantly, was the same light-eating black as her skin. It was a very plain shape, its hilt unadorned and its tip sprouting a cluster of needle-like spikes where a key's teeth would be. It made her feel ... stronger.
She still didn't feel like it would do much good for her to hit the out-of-control monster with it, though. What if her shadow stuck to it? That seemed like it would just hurt.
Damien's comment distracted her. "I'm sorry," she spoke up, "I don't have any bacon. But this might make you feel a little better." Her voice turned up slightly at the end of the sentence, making it almost a question; she put her hand on the boil's shoulder and felt some of the cool healing Fear flow into him.
