However, I AM doing an accelerated degree in university (oh joy for me) and included in that degree is weeks and weeks of work experience. Sometimes I get no internet where I'm going, so as a word of warning, I might disappear for a few weeks at a time sad Hopefully not though, because I'll go crazy if there's no internet.

okay so that gif made my day - although that might have something to do with the part where I was up late watching cat videos. and I think this post made my life right now.
I see all these people saying how they have school, and a job and then there's me. The shy girl who can't seem to land herself a job... whoops?
but wow o.O that's kind of a lot of things to have plopped onto your plate.
For the record though: I am here c: this was where I learned how to properly write something of this sort, so of course I'm still here ^^
Let's all take a moment to appreciate that these are the creatures we're roleplaying.
Yeah, it was mostly a matter of luck- my mother saw that they were advertising for help and was able to arrange a person-to-person interview, and they hired me right away. Online interviews got me nowhere before that! It sucks. Shyness definitely makes person-to-person hard though.
Yeeeeh. It's good for freshman year I guess, since my classes are lax, but I can't do this in sophomore or Junior year by any means. D:

Good to know you're still here! I'm not sure about roleplaying atm, I still feel like with exams coming up we might want to be careful about starting RP again because people will start disappearing again in a few weeks or so. IF we start the RP back up, it'll be a tentative "Let's just try this for a bit until summer rolls around."

AND NOW FOR A LOVELY FOURTH POST
I may or may not have an idea for a separate warriors RP that would be more of a fantasy AU. It'll be for WTNC members only (who are active at the end of this final chapter here), it will be another private guild that I've hoarded since 2012 and am going to renovate, and it wil be super relaxed and chance-based rather than storyline-based. By chance-based I mean it'll be pretty sandbox-y in that there's no ultimate storyline to complete (eliminating the need to struggle and finish a story arc), but like maybe I'll roll the dice for an event to happen such as "natural disaster" or "villain tries to kill leader" or somefin.
I will control literally everyone but the members characters, the NPCs wont be heroes or legends; they'll be super bland, giving members the chance to be The Specials, and also letting me test y'all without having to respond with a character of my own.
Basically it's a warriors AU where the warriors are chimeras (half-cat, half something else) and are elementally magical (with one Clan representing each element).
Fantasy meets Avatar: The Next Airbender meets Warriors.
Anyone interested in that?
I'll probably upload the Word doc I've been working on over the years and make another silly powerpoint about because dang those powerpoints are fun.

However, I am going to be the nanny for my nephew, so I have reduced time.

Okay, thanks smile And the fantasy A.U. sounds interesting. The thought of less of a plot in a little unnerving for me, though. I like having direction and drive, otherwise it kind of dies out.

That's a good point, but the RP is not entirely without plot. It'll have little backstories to give the RP backbone, like the Great Massacre of SkyClan. I kind of feel like for the rest of the Clan backstories, I want to hold a poll for what people think'd be coolest out of the ideas I had, including "just leave their backstories vague and open". The way it would work is that I'd write up a bunch of possible story arcs- wolf attacks, prey plague and there's no food for some reason, all those sideplots nstuff- and then roll a dice/generate random number to decide what gets chosen. There'll be no preparation for it, it'll all be up to chance, and honestly it'd be more exciting for me to not know what I'm even gonna throw at you until the dice rolls /u if need be, we can eventually start up a central RP, but I want to test out the free-form version first.
Alright, that sounds reasonable. Another questions: If it was a fantasy, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Warriors crossover, how would that work exactly? Would everyone be cats? Would they have elemental abilities? Okay, that was more like three questions, but I'm intrigued.

@Timber: I have 5 exams a year but I still come on to roleplay, because otherwise I'll spend my time procrastinating elsewhere ;D
I just read the presentation - taking everything onto your plate seems a bit much, if you don't mind me saying. If you feel that it's the best decision though, I won't question it.
In RP news, I need someone for Ebonysun to hate and someone for Ghostwhisper to creep out.
Just read all the stuffs in the presentation and I feel like I can say Hundred may not be coming back. She has a lot to deal with right now (and has for the last while and probably will for a longish time). As such there may be times when I disappear for a day or two to help her out but I'll be sure to drop a warning if I can.
Apart from that, all that makes sense and should work. But Timber, don't try to do alllllll the work yourself, you've got a crew at your back remember. smile

@Echo: I just wrote out a long response and lost it crying
Basically, I'm trying to shift control to me, centrally. I've learned more about group roleplaying since being absent (oddly enough), ad I'm trying to become the ST (storyteller)/ GM (game master). This means I want to control the aspects of the story that are external from the characters that members create. Since this is an online guild, I'd also like to just be in charge of keeping the story (and Clan List etc) on track. Will I ask for help? Probably. But the task is still mine, and I've loosened a lot of strings (Member Profiles, Cat Profiles) so that I can focus on what we need the most (Clan List, Approval Thread, Storyline).
I'm referring to the crew system of like "Storyline Crew" and "Member Crew" that was never really a system we ever actively followed anyway. Crew's just there to help me with the odd task I need; you won't be allocated to one singular thing.
@Sylvaky: Thanks gurl, I figured she's probably pretty busy. That's quite alright. And I know my crew got my back emotion_brofist
