Freeing the captured fish from the lines and being sure to clear up after himself, Tala picked up the catch, tossing a few towards Meta before heading inside the cabin.

Rosa still seemed to be asleep, so Tala sought out the kitchen, then set to cleaning and preparing the catch. He cooked some of the fish and set the rest in the smoker, so they would dry and be good to take with them when they left.

Whilst the fish was cooking, he made his way back into the main room where Rosa was; he couldn't help but notice the dust and figured it might just be worth clearing the house - it wouldn't be healthy with such a covering around...

Opening the door he called up a light breeze, using it to push the dust out of the door in a huge cloud which dispersed into the air outside...

After he'd done this the whiff of the fish caught Rosa's nose as she sniffed the air, slowly starting to wake up. She'd sit up and yawn, rubbing her eyes and look at Tala yawning again. "Good morning Tala, how you sleep? Sorry to have woken you up so late last night but I had to." She said softly rubbing her eyes to get the sleep from them.

Meta outside the cabin ate his fish happily, glad to have it. In the distance a man walked, wearing blue robes with designs of water on the sleeves and around the bottom of the robes, the top adorn with blue sapphire crystals. He paused in his steps with an odd looking cane. He looked up into the air from the forest path, seeing the dust he blinked confused and then continued on his way wondering what was going on as he had not seen that before.

"I haven't slept." Tala replied bluntly, not to upset her, but to just state he hadn't... there was a brief silence between them, then Tala spoke again...

"I caught some fish in the lake...cooked them..." he glanced back towards the kitchen, then across at the door, which he shut with a minor wave of his hand... "It's...ready I guess?" He'd cooked it before, but wasn't sure how she liked it... He turned back towards the kitchen, clearing up after himself before putting the remnants of the fish aside for Meta later...

Rosa nodded, standing up, walking to the kitchen. "Aw thank you Tala but you should sleep now. I feel terrible you not getting any sleep." She said sadly, feeling bad and her eyes looked sad as she watched him. "Come on, you lay down and sleep. I'll stay up now so you can sleep and I promise not to wake you up again before you've rested as much as you want." Rosa said moving over to Tala, gently touching one of his arms softly. "I'll clean up if you want me to for you so you can rest. I'd feel worse if you were sleep deprived more and I don't want you feeling bad or anything because of no sleep."

"I'll be fine." Tala flinched at her touch, stepping away to help himself to a small portion of the fish before heading back into the living room and sitting down where Rosa had been sleeping.

He breathed a yawn, turning his head in an attempt to hide it from her so she wouldn't be too concerned that he was tired... Even though they were somewhere safe, he didn't want to let his guard down...

Rosa took her fish looking to Tala, feeling bad and worried about him not sleeping. Walking over she'd sit beside him, watching him before she'd begin to eat the fish. "The fish taste good." She commented after swallowing. Looking down to the floor she began to become lost in thought, wondering how to get Tala to take a nap as she worried about his health of him if he didn't get enough sleep. Looking over to him she bit her lower lip, taking a breath and sighed, speaking carefully. "You can sleep if you want to, I can keep watch with Meta outside so we'll know ahead of time but I don't think anything bad will happen here. It is more secure than a open cave."

Outside Meta would perk his head up, snorting, tensing up as it heard footsteps nearing, the grass compressing under steps. The Horzun watched the robed man in blue nearing with his odd cane like staff. As he neared the Horzun snorted, stomping one foot as it glared at the man it did not recognize but the man moved one hand out towards the lake then over gently to Meta, holding out fresh water to the Horzun beast. Meta watched it before drinking from the floating orb of water. Once done the man moved his cane, pulling over a bucket and made sure dust was out of it before dropping the water into the bucket for the beast to drink when it needed water. This had quieted Meta as the man approached closer to his home, wondering who was inside now, not speaking a word.

"I'm fine." Tala said again, not understanding why she was so concerned... He'd sleep eventually...

He rose to his feet again, stretching before making his way across to the table - there he had laid out a few of the scrolls he'd collected on the beasts around their location, he had also laid the map close by so he could gauge which direction they could head in next - preferably somewhere with as few monster attacks as possible...

"There's nothing stopping you though..." he lifted his head, glancing towards the door as he heard Meta snort... Remaining still for a moment he continued to listen before dropping his head back to the scrolls...

"But didn't you just say you haven't slept? Don't you need sleep or so much sleep a night to be fully able to function right?" Rosa asked confused watching him. She grew quiet when hearing Meta snort but when there wasn't anything else she figured Meta just had a tickle in his nose. Turning her eyes from the door to Tala she sighed, standing and walked over to him, folding her hands behind her. "Do I bother you Tala?" She asked suddenly, her voice quiet with a slight sound of what could be sadness in it as she asked the question, unaware of the man stepping up to the front door and starting to open it, her back to the door.

Rosa was correct in that he needed sleep to fully function, but he didn't want to drop his guard until he was forced to...It was how he'd survived in the past, maintaining his conscious state until he could hold it no more, then he'd find somewhere secure and safe to reside until he was able to recover...

"You don't bother me..." he said eventually, shaking his head, yet keeping his eyes on the scrolls infront of him, "But it is strange...You forget, I was alone in Sune...This is all very different for me..."

He drew one of the beasiary scrolls closer, narrowing his eyes as he found the location he had planned to head highly populated by a type of mountain beast they didn't want to face... If they wanted to proceed safely, even with Meta in their arsenal, it seemed they would have to go around the mountains...

Rosa nodded gently, watching him quiet then spoke again. "Well is there anything I can do to help or anything for you?" she asked curiously, watching him and moved closer to see what he was reading. "I can help cook if showed how as I haven't cooked at all or well not much." Her attention on Tala did not bring notice to the door opening and the man entering the cabin.

He watched them silently, walking over with his cane gently tapping on the wood floor. "Ah, seems I have guests. Did not know I was having company over. You have a mighty beast, I commend your power to tame one of the Horzun." He said firmly, his voice strong and strict as he watched them with cautious eyes.

Rosa jumped turning with a sharp inhale as she stared at the man, confused to where he came from and why Meta had not gone on defense and alerted them like the Horzun had at the cave.

Hearing the cane tapping on the floor, Tala's eyes shot up to meet the man's and he tensed... instinctively reaching back for his daggers when he heard the man's booming voice before backing away from the table, his right arm extending out to shield Rosa...

"We had no idea this place was occupied..." he said, his narrowed eyes scrutinising the man closely, why hadn't Meta alerted them to his presence? "Rosa, gather your things."

He stood infront of her now, ready to defend the princess if needed... "We mean no ill and will leave quickly if you let us...otherwise I will have no problem fighting our way out." Drawing one of his daggers he intended to give the impression he was prepared to fight if needed...

Rosa looked at the man then to Tala worried. "But Tala you still haven't slept any yet. You need to sleep." Rosa said worried not trying to pull him back with her or anything like that. The man eyed them both, listening, his eyes widening some as he heard Tala's name.

"Hmmm Tala? That name rings some bells." The man said eying Tala over then his dagger that was out. Rosa was concerned worried that Tala was tired, not wanting him to get killed. The man closely examined Tala taking a step forwards. "May I see that blade, Tala? I'm trying to place where I've heard your name before to explain to myself why it is ringing faint bells in my head." He said holding a hand out for the dagger. "I don't like guests but I want to know why your name sounds familiar to me."

"You won't have heard of me." Tala kept his eyes narrowed, taking a step back as the Mage advanced before glancing back at Rosa as she mentioned him needing rest... Sleep wasn't as important to him now there was a possible enemy in their midst...especially as he was now approaching them...

"I don't exist." having grown up in Sune, nobody had ever been aware of his existence, even after Caran had found him, he remained out of the eye of the public...for his own safety... "And the dagger is mine." he tightened his grip as he said that...

He was completely unaware that his name was in fact an abbreviation of Prince Talanask; the newborn who, in the stories, had been stolen away by the witch whom his Father - the King of Eskadi - had betrayed...

"If you don't like guests...then let us be on our way." he said again, knowing there wasn't another way out of the house unless they went out a window... "Then you can forget we were even here..."

Rosa nodded moving back, going to get her things. The man watched the dagger, sighing and swing his cane out and through the air. Nothing seemed to happen before water shot out of the sink and flew through the air aimed to hit Tala in the back of the head as the other half that had separated was aimed to try and pull the dagger out of Tala's grasp and if it could then the water would drop it in the man's hand so he may over look it up close. The two pieces of water would then, if the man had the dagger, would work at keeping Tala busy so the man could examine the blade as throughally as he'd like. "hmmm interesting. where have I seen this stone type before?" he asked aloud to himself as he would turn the blade over and look at it closer if his move from before had been successful.

Tala was forced forward by the impact, his grip tightened momentarily, but the water rushed past his hand, icy cold and forced him to release the weapon...

The water seemed to have a life of its own, each time Tala tried to get to his feet, he was knocked back by the water. Drawing his other dagger he struck the water - his intention was to allow the dark energy to take control of the liquid and turn it on itself...

He would then make a move towards the man, hoping to snatch back his weapon...
