When Mitsu entered the class the next day she was surprised to find herself sucked into the picture before she could even determine what was going on. She landed neatly in a seat though it took her a moment to figure out that the seat she found herself in was actually on top of her panda. The creature seemed to be happily munching away on some bamboo and only looked up for a moment to regard her before it went back to munching.
Smiling she patted Ludwig 2 on the head before she turned to listen to the teacher explain what today would be about. So they had to find a battle other creatures. And...was the teacher smiling? It felt a little unnerving but Mitsu didn't have time to dwell on it. The landscape was shifting and moving and suddenly there were beasts everywhere.
Nudging her panda forward Mitsu scanned the area hoping to find something that didn't look particularly dangerous. There were a number of beasts both big and small and she was hoping for something smallish. It would be far easier to contend with. She had spotted a rabbit off in the distance pointing that way so Ludwig could see. They began a somber pace in that direction but before they could arrive the rabbit darted off and was replaced by something else. A large spotted cat of some sort. It made Mitsu whine with displeasure....it was a cat.
The cat advanced before Mitsu knew what to do, struggling to move her panda in time. Her beast took a swipe across its blobby arm but Mitsu was able to draw a foot back and kick at the creature to send it back and away from them both.
HP: 35 / 40

The large cat was fast and it was taking all Mitsu could to keep up with it as it darted around her panda looking for another opening. Its eyes were dead set on the both of them, a low rumble emanating from its throat. In a sudden flash the cat was upon them and before Mitsu could give it the full force of a blow to shoo it back once again the cat had managed a swipe across her panda's side. It was difficult to defend the larger beast on all sides, especially with as fast as the leopard was. The world was back to black and white, and Roch grinned wildly, reaching up to rub Buddy's head as the professors explained what they were doing for the day. "You an' me, Bud," he said to his mount as he nudged the blob pet into heading out. Riding the blob was like nothing he'd experienced before, it was a rocking, easy motion that almost put him to sleep--at least until the blob shuddered to a stop.
They'd found their beast, and Buddy had even cornered him in a small area. "Score. C'mon buddy, let's catch this sucker," Roch said. Before he could blink, Buddy shot forward, slamming into the better drawn creature and hitting it pretty hard. "Whoa, nice shot!" Roch complimented him.
Wait... were they supposed to hit that hard? They weren't supposed to kill it, right?

"Let's not hit him that hard, Bud," Roch said, frowning slightly. "We hit him too hard he might die before we get to catch him." The blob bobbed his head, then swiped out with a paw (which sort of surprised Roch, he hadn't realized he'd HAD one of those) and barely made a nick on the beast. When the cat came back around for another attack Mitsu managed to shift herself in her seat in time to once again block her panda from taking on some real damage. Ludwig made a muffled sound of protest around his bamboo from the damage it had received so far. When Mitsu blocked the panda was actually able to turn and swiped at the cat to send it flying. The spots on the cat were nearly a blur and it approached Mitsu a little too fast this time making her squeak as it approached. Cats...why was it always cats. Always the one thing she didn't like. At least her panda was on the ball, turning just in time to give the cat a swipe and push it back, through it took a bit of damage itself. Looked like this battle was far from over. I battled and I PASSED(this reminds me of pokemon >.>) My HP: 5/30 Damage done: Opponent's HP: 54/100 Number of nets left: 1 Link all posts made here: A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 N1Tyalessa, probably like most students if not all, was taken completely by surprise when they got sucked in, she had barely taken her shoes off and then she had a feeling of motionsickness again. Though the classes where fun, she could honestly say she didnt appericate being sucked in like this without telling first. Looking around at the new sceneary, she noticed the same big study sticks from the jungle yesturday "i should really ask what these are called"They looked attached to net things, something she had only seen once before in Amityville at the market, these where bigger, possibly for bigger prey. Essa completely agreed with the teacher on how brute force was not always the best way, but upon hearing that they will be using their beast from yesturday to help capture a wild beast today, Essa felt a bit uneasy, her attempt didnt go so well and the beast in question was looking like it was more ready to attack her than the wild beast. Either way, she had to finish the class, but she felt like it was going to fail. Oddly enough the opposite happened, she had caught her wild beast in a lucky grabbed that a second later would have possibly missed. Essa jumped up in joy, her little winged monkey actually held up pretty good attacks, not the best, but not weak either. So it might like her after all, she felt like she made a new friend....although it still didnt look like it liked her when she smiled at her beast for the good work. was it the way i painted you or something Essa thought "i wonder if the teachers have any treats i could give to you"It was only seconds after that she found herself back in the classroom, on her knees trying hard not to puke. That certainly isnt getting any easier on me... After raising her hand, she bowed and then left the classroom

The beast leaped forward, somehow realizing that Roch was the cause for this problem. It seemed to piss Buddy off, because the blob leaped up, slamming down on top of the beast and shoving it hard into the ground. Roch was busy holding on for dear life, so it was hard to tell Buddy no. "Whoa, crap, Bud, calm down!" Roch said, wrapping his legs tight around the blobby barrel of his mount. "Don't kill him!" The beast snapped at Buddy as the blob pulled away from him. "Hey! Quit hurtin' my buddy!" Roch yelled.
