Lazorus flailed his arms as the young girl tried to pry his mouth open, as a muffled scream overtook him. Running around the kitchen, he continued to flail his arms before falling into a Garbage Can head first, which proceeded to roll down the stairs into the Cellar.
"MRRFRFRRFGGH!!!!!!!!!!"
A crash suddenly alerted the others.

Susan grabbed Night just short of falling down the stairs. She gave her a disappointed look then went down to help Lazorus. "I'm sorry about that Lazorus...are you alright?"
Night went to go pout in the corner.

Lilith watched the whole scene play out, still keeping a firm grip on the cookie in her hand. As she heard the crash, she flinched.
"Oh no! Not the wine cellar! Lazzy!"
She set the cookie down on the table and rushed to try helping him out of the trash bin.
"Lazzy, you keep forgetting I can make more cookies!"

Night waited until Lilly was downstairs and then snuck over to the table and grabbed the cookie, stuffing it in her mouth. So there!! And she ran out of the kitchen and headed out of the castle.

Finally prying Lazorus from the trash bin, Lilith handed him a mop while she got a broom to sweep up the broken glass from the bottles he had shattered. Looking down at the mess, she gave a sad sigh.
"Such a waste. If Malphas were here, he would probably strangle you for this."
She started sweeping away the glass shards from the area.
"No going to train with Night until this is all cleaned up, got it?"

Susan grabbed a broom as well, wanting to help. "Speaking of Night, where is the young Mistress? After this is all cleaned up, I'll go check to see if she's in her room."
She began sweeping the broken glass into a pile.

The servant looked around the kitchen, not seeing Night anywhere.
"I do hope she is alright. When you see her, let her know that I will bake more cookies for her."
Lilith helped Susan pile together the broken glass.
"Thank you so much for your help, but you shouldn't be made to do this, Susan."

Hearing a small commotion in the adjoining dining hall, Lilith set her broom down.
"I'll be right back. I think someone is in there."
Cautiously, she headed to the doors linking the two rooms.

Returning to the kitchen, Lilith's face was full of concern.
"I hope that Night is okay. If you do see her, please let her know that I can always make more cookies for her."
She set the dishes in the sink and began scrubbing them.
"I wouldn't worry too much about Lazorus, Susan. The instant he smells anything sugary, he'll come running back."

Susan nodded. "I get worried about my Mistress's well being because this is a new place, but I know my being by her side all the time can get tired." She brought some of the dishes into the sink as well.
"So maybe I'll help you bake some more cookies then I will go look for her."

The servant smiled as she rinsed off one of the dishes.
"That sounds good to me. What kind of cookies do you and Night like best, Susan?"

Susan smiled, grabbing a handtowel to help dry the dishes. "Mistress enjoys chocolate chip cookies. I do too..."

Lilith finished scrubbing the dirty dishes and helped Susan dry them off before pulling out a recipe book.
"We'll get started right away. Hopefully Lazorus is busy on the other end of the castle."

Ilyia strode into the kitchen, Hazel in tow, though the Divine Creation appeared quite perplexed for some reason she did not openly reveal, least of all by expression. She let out a slight laugh, turning to the witch behind her.
"I suppose one thing's easier than another, then. By all means, I can wait a while; you look famished."

Turning at the noise, Lilith smiled at the newcomers and gave a small bow.
"Well, hello. May I help you?"
Hazel shook her head, beaming.
"No, thank you. I'll find something!"
She dashed over to the refrigerator and peeked inside before clambering up a nearby stool to look inside the pantries.
The servant watched the little girl, wondering if she was somehow related to Lazorus before turning to the woman who had entered with her.
"Is there anything I can get for you, miss?"
