User Image"She is, at that," Grace answered with a grin, patting the bag in an encouraging way. "If it were darker, you'd be able to see the tendrils of..." ...Mist? Smoke? Weird? "...of purple coming out through the pack. Mind you, if it were darker she'd be out here grinning at you."

"Gaast." It was a sound of rueful agreement: if it were darker, Rebecca could be out there having fun with the other Pokémon. As it was, she was stuck in the rucksack. Bah.

Offering a smile in return, Meeka's face fixated into a content expression. "Her name's Poji Paji." she said, the Pikachu's ears flicking up to the mention of her nickname. "Name's Meeka, myself." she followed by afterward. Combing back her hair, which was somewhat moist due to the heat, the nonchalant breeder went off into a daze again before blinking back into thought. With yellow eyes glancing to the side, Meeka yipped up to the Growlithe. "Wah!" she cried aloud, the instincts of her Pokemon love coming into play. She immediately dropped to her knees (ignoring the sudden lash of pain with it) and held her hands out. "Whatta cutie!" she laughed as she beckoned towards the Growlithe with one hand.

"TEDDDI!" nookies whine. This was not his day. Not only was the heat bad but the people would not pay atteion to him. He pout and pull on the lady pants. "Teddi teddi teddi!" nookies whine loudly. As he was about to hug her he spoted his best friend. A tasty little pikachu Name Poji Paji. He giggles in joy. He forgot the lady and ran over to Poji and gave her a friendly hug. "Teddi teddi teddi!" he said with joy.

The bus was ok. Jem could deal with buses. She used to ride a sort-of-bus around the island for school, so she knew what to expect in the small, fairly uncomfortable space.
And then there was no more bus. This she was less apt to deal with. It was much to hot for walking.
"AfghjkWAT?!" She nearly screamed, "Were supposed to WALK to this MOUNTAIN camp?! Graah! This is BS!" waves of contempt radiated from the red-headed trainer as she stalked off, grumbling obscenities as she went.

Electra was more forlorn than angered. She could walk, but she hoped that her bulb wouldn't burn.
She trotted after Jem, a bit weary of the angry girl. The girl was a kind of pen pal of Nox and they had apparently agreed of both coming to Zatao. Nox had gotten here much earlier, preceding Jem by almost 6 months (it's surprisingly hard to find someone willing to ferry you in the Orange Islands).
When Jem had mentioned going to this camp, and the fact that she couldn't bring Milli, Nox had loaned her Electra. She was her most affable pokemon except for Square, but he was at the PokeCenter for an injury while frolicking. So the bulbasaur was stuck with the short-fused trainer.

Not being able to find Alastair, Lisa walked along, looking for some one else to chat with. "This has been quite a walk," she mumbled as she re-adjusted her pack. "I hope we get to camp soon. I'm quite tired."

Merlin floated along above Lisa, providing shade to the trainer if only to prevent her from complaining or pulling him in to his containment capsule. Besides Yth, nothing had struck the ghost's fancy, and it annoyed him so. Not to mention the sunlight was getting on his nerves.

Aww, that was too bad. She was sure Lila would love to go for a ride. At least Rebecca didn't have to walk, but then again she was a Ghastly, and didn't have legs or feet anyway. "I'd love to see her when it gets darker out." Which probably wouldn't be for a while, since they'd left so early, it was probably not even noon. "Lila prefers to be out at night, although that doesn't always work out." Basically, when Claire's trying to sleep, Lila is up and about making all sorts of noise, and vice versa. Really very annoying.

"Sneasel," the dark-type quipped, peering up at her trainer. Yes, night was more fun - and not nearly so bright and hot. Oh well, if her trainer wanted her up during the day, then she'd be up during the day. Whether or not she'd like it or be tired would be a different story entirely.

User Image Dido was looking rather worn out herself. She'd been riding the whole way, but the heat was getting to her. The Skitty slid down from Eros's shoulder and into his arms. "Teee," she mewed half-heartedly, ears drooping.

Eros turned to retrieve a bottle of water from where it was strapped to the side of his luggage. He unscrewed the top and took a sip, only to make a face. "Ew, it's gotten warm. Still, better than nothing, I suppose." The boy slipped a tiny bowl from one of the large pockets of his pants and poured some of the water into it before offering it to Dido, holding it in the palm of his hand while she rested on the same arm. The Skitty steadied it with her front paws, lapping delicately.

Liam (+ Eli)

Urg. It was hot. More than anything that was what bothered Liam. Walking wasn't really a problem for him -- he had had plenty of experience with walking around aimlessly. "If last year wasn't an indication of that," he murmured to himself. Last year he had gotten himself into a similar mess -- there had been psychic disturbances and, being a healer, he had volunteered himself to help. Oddly enough Ridley had as well... for different reasons. Nothing had ended up coming of it, which was good. The rockets hadn't managed to obtain Mew, the pokemon instead deciding to follow another trainer around for a while. After that Mews started popping up everywhere. Perhaps legendaries weren't as rare as people thought.

Kicking a rock, the healer grumbled a little more.

At least the forests had been shaded.

"Nice t'meet'cha, Meeka! And Poji Paji."

With a grin, the Feebas breeder commented "It's a unique name. Sounds playful!" Glancing down again, she found the Teddiursa somewhat clamoring around Meeka now. She leaned down and pet the normal type with her right hand, while using her left hand to hitch up her binding a bit. No need for the kids to see her cupcakes on accident.

Short attention spans were nice. Every moment was a good one. With the sudden "WAH!" Dakota's ears perked as she panted slightly. Oh, another person to smell! Her nose quickly went to work while her rump sat itself down. Her nub continued to wag, making it more difficult to sit still. This trainer had come down to her level, so that must mean one thing:

The black Growlithe stuck out a paw and offered it to Meeka.

"Ya know, we should probably move along, don't want t'keep the others behind us waitin'" Phoebe gently reminded. Her puppy really was quite silly, and she sighed as she recalled such a fact.

The fact that the group was not dropped off in the correct area soon sunk in. " Are you joking? Walking? I paid to WALK? This is outrageous! That bus driver is being payed to do their job but still fails to do so? " Teddy continued to fume, not caring if he came off as over dramatic. Teddy loved to be viewed as such. Maybe they would avoid directing sentences towards him. Oh how he wish that would happen. But who knew...some child could become overly excited and come his way.

How could he blame them? " I'm beautiful after all. Ohohohohoho. "

Teddy finally decided to have a look at the others. None caught his eye except a well dressed woman. Huh? Could there possibly be another high class member? Noticing the fact he had stared to long Teddy averted his eyes and looked forward. Whatever. She was only a tiny bit better than the rest.

Enjoying this walk, Musica wonders what kind of Pokemon will be at the camp. He grins to himself, hoping he might find his favorite on this vacation. His dream was always to be a breeder, so he'd studied as much as he could without actually practicing it hands on.

Kira of Flames
Koorie winced, hearing that same voice even closer.... closer being right behind her. 'Great....' She thought to herself, grimacing a little. She cast a glance over her shoulder to see Flari, her bright red eyes casting a cold but calm look over the girl. "Who.... are you...." She wasn't about to answer any questions until she knew at least whom she was dealing with.

Miu gave a calm look over Flari. She could smell something odd about the girl; not bad odd, but just something that most humans didn't have. She couldn't put a name to the scent, but she'd be keeping an eye on the human.

(She's not too social, I'm sorry ^^')

((heh. Thats why I got Flari to zero in on her :3))

"My name's Flari and this is Liz." she patted the Rattatta's head. she liked how soft Liz was... She wished she could keep her. but the rental would have to go back to her home later.
the best Flari could do was to make sure that Liz was happy and safe when she returned.

She rummaged through her bag, pushing aside all the various toiletries and stuff.
Ah. there it was.
She brought out a bag of homemade pokesnacks.
She had made them herself before she had left for the camp.

She offered one to Miu. the ninetails was eying her, so why not. Whatever the reason for the staring, she wanted to make some friends on this trip. It had been a while since she had had any real friendly contact, with pokemon or humans.

"And you?" she asked, smiling.

User Image"I've no doubt she'd love to see you too, dear," Grace answered with a laugh. "She likes people. Very often she likes the people who're terrified of her best of all, because her little tricks work so much better. Born to work in a haunted house, this one. ...Now you mention it, though, I don't know if she sleeps at all..."

Inside the rucksack, Rebecca was, in fact, asleep. She'd finally given up on being awake, stuck in a tiny space where she couldn't see a blessed thing, and the warmth of the bag was soothing, so she'd drifted off without much trouble. Doubtless she'd be awake again after nightfall to cause some degree of havoc...

Falx sighed. This weather was brutal, and she hated walking. She had only decided to come to this camp for the AC, anyway! And the pool. All camps had pools, so this one had to have one. At least it was free.

She wished they had allowed her to bring her Havok, though. Instead she had had to "borrow" a Nidoran to be accepted. There were benefits to being a Team Rocket member, sure, but her Rampardos would have been more fun.

The Nidoran F's name was Bowser and its previous trainer seemed glad to be rid of it. Falx hadn't let it out of it's pokeball yet, but she was sure it couldn't be that much trouble to manage a tiny Nidoran.

Falx glanced at the trainers around her, trying to scope out what pokemon they had. Without Havok it was probably a bad idea to try to take any of them. Team Rocket business could wait until she was cooler, anyway. Blasted heat!

Saspra sighed as she walked along with everyone else. The bus ride had been much better than this considering the fact that it had actually had AC. Out here it was just hot. It seemed that Shadow was much happier being out here in the sun than being on the bus. He'd seemed more irritable on the bus than out here. Well, at least one of them was happier out here in the blazing heat. She looked around boredly. In about five hours or so they were supposed to reach the camp. She looked about for someone to talk to to pass the time.

Shadow walked alongside Saspra boredly. The thought of going to a camp for the summer didn't please him half as much as it had Saspra. But at least it was warmer out here. The AC on the bus had felt cold and clammy to him.
