The bus was ok. Jem could deal with buses. She used to ride a sort-of-bus around the island for school, so she knew what to expect in the small, fairly uncomfortable space. And then there was no more bus. This she was less apt to deal with. It was much to hot for walking. "AfghjkWAT?!" She nearly screamed, "Were supposed to WALK to this MOUNTAIN camp?! Graah! This is BS!" waves of contempt radiated from the red-headed trainer as she stalked off, grumbling obscenities as she went.
Electra was more forlorn than angered. She could walk, but she hoped that her bulb wouldn't burn. She trotted after Jem, a bit weary of the angry girl. The girl was a kind of pen pal of Nox and they had apparently agreed of both coming to Zatao. Nox had gotten here much earlier, preceding Jem by almost 6 months (it's surprisingly hard to find someone willing to ferry you in the Orange Islands). When Jem had mentioned going to this camp, and the fact that she couldn't bring Milli, Nox had loaned her Electra. She was her most affable pokemon except for Square, but he was at the PokeCenter for an injury while frolicking. So the bulbasaur was stuck with the short-fused trainer. "S-saur..."

Aww, that was too bad. She was sure Lila would love to go for a ride. At least Rebecca didn't have to walk, but then again she was a Ghastly, and didn't have legs or feet anyway. "I'd love to see her when it gets darker out." Which probably wouldn't be for a while, since they'd left so early, it was probably not even noon. "Lila prefers to be out at night, although that doesn't always work out." Basically, when Claire's trying to sleep, Lila is up and about making all sorts of noise, and vice versa. Really very annoying.
"Sneasel," the dark-type quipped, peering up at her trainer. Yes, night was more fun - and not nearly so bright and hot. Oh well, if her trainer wanted her up during the day, then she'd be up during the day. Whether or not she'd like it or be tired would be a different story entirely.

Dido was looking rather worn out herself. She'd been riding the whole way, but the heat was getting to her. The Skitty slid down from Eros's shoulder and into his arms. "Teee," she mewed half-heartedly, ears drooping.
Eros turned to retrieve a bottle of water from where it was strapped to the side of his luggage. He unscrewed the top and took a sip, only to make a face. "Ew, it's gotten warm. Still, better than nothing, I suppose." The boy slipped a tiny bowl from one of the large pockets of his pants and poured some of the water into it before offering it to Dido, holding it in the palm of his hand while she rested on the same arm. The Skitty steadied it with her front paws, lapping delicately.

"Nice t'meet'cha, Meeka! And Poji Paji."
With a grin, the Feebas breeder commented "It's a unique name. Sounds playful!" Glancing down again, she found the Teddiursa somewhat clamoring around Meeka now. She leaned down and pet the normal type with her right hand, while using her left hand to hitch up her binding a bit. No need for the kids to see her cupcakes on accident.
Short attention spans were nice. Every moment was a good one. With the sudden "WAH!" Dakota's ears perked as she panted slightly. Oh, another person to smell! Her nose quickly went to work while her rump sat itself down. Her nub continued to wag, making it more difficult to sit still. This trainer had come down to her level, so that must mean one thing:
The black Growlithe stuck out a paw and offered it to Meeka.
"Ya know, we should probably move along, don't want t'keep the others behind us waitin'" Phoebe gently reminded. Her puppy really was quite silly, and she sighed as she recalled such a fact.

Kira of Flames Koorie winced, hearing that same voice even closer.... closer being right behind her. ' Great....' She thought to herself, grimacing a little. She cast a glance over her shoulder to see Flari, her bright red eyes casting a cold but calm look over the girl. "Who.... are you...." She wasn't about to answer any questions until she knew at least whom she was dealing with. Miu gave a calm look over Flari. She could smell something odd about the girl; not bad odd, but just something that most humans didn't have. She couldn't put a name to the scent, but she'd be keeping an eye on the human. (She's not too social, I'm sorry ^^')
((heh. Thats why I got Flari to zero in on her :3))
"My name's Flari and this is Liz." she patted the Rattatta's head. she liked how soft Liz was... She wished she could keep her. but the rental would have to go back to her home later. the best Flari could do was to make sure that Liz was happy and safe when she returned.
She rummaged through her bag, pushing aside all the various toiletries and stuff. Ah. there it was. She brought out a bag of homemade pokesnacks. She had made them herself before she had left for the camp.
She offered one to Miu. the ninetails was eying her, so why not. Whatever the reason for the staring, she wanted to make some friends on this trip. It had been a while since she had had any real friendly contact, with pokemon or humans.
"And you?" she asked, smiling.

"I've no doubt she'd love to see you too, dear," Grace answered with a laugh. "She likes people. Very often she likes the people who're terrified of her best of all, because her little tricks work so much better. Born to work in a haunted house, this one. ...Now you mention it, though, I don't know if she sleeps at all..."
Inside the rucksack, Rebecca was, in fact, asleep. She'd finally given up on being awake, stuck in a tiny space where she couldn't see a blessed thing, and the warmth of the bag was soothing, so she'd drifted off without much trouble. Doubtless she'd be awake again after nightfall to cause some degree of havoc...
