Damian looked down at his hands, which were underneath Anna. He then looked at Anna. A sly grin crossed his face. "You sure that you're victorious?" he said. "I could always just poke you in the butt." Damian wasn't sure if he'd actually do that, considering it was a bit rude, but he wanted to get his hands free and he would not concede to Anna, at least not now.

Anna crossed her arms, challenging. "You wouldn't dare." She said confidently, looking into his deep hazel eyes. However, now that she thought about it, she didn't think he'd halt to poke her, or, rather, use any means necessary to get out of a sticky situation, even if those means did include poking her in the rear.
"I could always go up the staircase, you know... You can't get me up there." But, of course, she had no intention of leaving. Not now. Not for a while. Perhaps not even at all, tonight. She, hands free, began poking him wherever she she felt like it. His shoulders, his collar bone, his chest, his knee, his head, his chin. Boy, was she having fun.

Damian smirked. "You can barely walk tonight. I don't think you'd be able to get up there fast enough to avoid me."
No sooner had he finished saying that then the barrage began. And Damian was, of course, fairly ticklish. He thought about poking her in the butt, but decided against it just because it was really rude. His father always said that it was better to go down a gentleman than to win by being a brute.
Damian tried to pull away as the barrage came, laughing because of his ticklishness. He managed to pull one of his hands out and began to poke Anna right back, though it was still difficult because his other hand was still under her.

Anna seemed unthreatened. She began unleashing a second wave, hitting the exact same spots, or near enough to them, anyway. And she only grinned in triumph more when he began to laugh. And then it clicked. He was ticklish. Taking advantage of that, she began to more so tickle him than to poke him. Or at least one hand did. The other was trying to fight off Damian's free hand.
So, she was having fun. Sitting on a couch in the middle of the Gryffindor Common Room. Poking/tickling her best friend/date?, sitting on one of his hands, with both of them in their pajamas? Now why did that seem the tiniest bit messed up? Hmm? Maybe because it was.
But she really didn't care. Not at all, actually. Because it was fun and she and Damian were just that comfortable around one another.
"I could always accio my nimbus."

At this point, Damian was laughing ridiculously hard. Anna had switched from poking to tickling, and it was obviously having the desired effect on him. He tried to poke her with his free hand, but her other hand prevented him from doing so. And of course, his other hand was still under her.
Frankly, Damian was having a really great time right now, better than all evening. When Anna threatened to summon her broomstick, he knew that it was time to stop. He could have summoned his own broomstick as well, but her didn't want to create a big ruckus now. "Alright, alright I concede." he said.
He then proceeded to pull his other arm out from under her. "Just so you know, I could have done that at any time I wanted." He lay down, completely out of breath from all the laughing, on the couch. Since Anna was also on the couch, his legs remained on the floor, so his body was in a bent position now, with his torso laying down, but his legs in a sitting position.

Anna, now a tad tired, well, more than a tad, if truth be told, found that Damain had quite the right idea by lying down. In fact, she could just fall asleep right now if she truly wished it. However, she didn't fancy being woken up to the first back from the dance, to see an undoubtedly romantic scene on the couch. Fun fun fun.
She grinned, though, when he conceded. She loved winning. She rolled her eyes at his comment. "Sure you could've, Damian, sure you could've. You just tell yourself that." She patted his upper arm, inadvertently feeling his slightly-defined arm. Ignoring her damn hormones as best she could, she decided that if he was going to mess with her head, even if he wasn't doing it on purpose, that she was going to mess with his.
And that's how she ended up lying in nearly the same position he was, fulfilling her earlier wish of using him (more specifically his chest) for a pillow. Only her legs were teetering over the one arm of the couch.
"You make a nice pillow, Damian." She informed him.

"Why thank you." He replied. "I try to be as soft and fluffy as possible for all my lady friends." He scooted over a bit so that Anna had a bit more room to lay down on the couch. That and so that he could get out of the uncomfortable position his lower half was in. He brought one of his legs up so that it was also laying on the couch. The other leg simply dangled lazily off the couch.

Anna smiled hugely. "Oh, well, then, if I fall asleep on you, ya big fluffy pillow, you, then I can just blame you in the morning?" She, wedged between Damian and the side of the couch, found herself quite comfortable. And, even if the entire houses of Godric Gryffindor were to shuffle in at just that moment, she found she couldn't bring herself to care.
After lying there for a few moments, the butterflies raging in hers stomach all the while, she decided to speak once more. "There you go again," she told him lazily, not even bothering to move enough so she could talk to him face-face. His face to the back of her head worked just fine. "Making these bloody things hatch. I swear, I think they do that just to annoy me."

"I'll be more than happy to take the blame for it the next morning." he said, smiling. He closed his eyes and felt like it wouldn't be long before he drifted off to sleep.
When Anna spoke again, he lazily opened one eye, grinning. "Sorry, but they know a good thing when they see it."
He suddenly felt just a bit bold. Picking his head up and craning his neck, he managed to get it so that he could kiss Anna on the forehead. He would have tried to cheek, but that would require him to inhumanly stretch his neck out. He lay his head back down afterwards.

Anna smiled at his first comment. Saying that meant he basically felt the same as her; even if the words hadn't left his mouth. Or hers, for that matter. But, then again, it wasn't the easiest thing in the world to say.
She opened her mouth to speak, when he kissed her on the forehead. She blinked, all together pleased, and yet she couldn't resist teasing him. She sat up, twisting her body somewhat gracefully, and places her legs over his in a casual manner. She smirked mischievously. Even if the only thing she said was, "You missed."
And, well, she knew he was smart enough to understand the meaning behind her words. Lastly, waiting for him to react, some part of her mind wondered what she'd gotten herself into.

Damian lazily smirked. "Are you quite certain that I missed? Show me where I would have aimed had I not 'missed'." he said, mocking her just a bit.
Damian wasn't sure where this boldness was coming from. Maybe it was the heat in the room. Maybe it was the tiredness and lack of any real coherent thought. Or maybe it was a combination of both.

Anna nodded. "Oh, yes, I am quite certain that you missed." She nodded once more, crossing her arms in a manner she felt demanded attention.
Then when he told her to show him, well, the first thought she had was pointing to her lips, but she decided this was more fun. She, convinced it was much, much too late to back out now, leaned toward him slowly, and, cocking her head to the side just a bit, she placed her lips on his.
And, after a few seconds, she withdrew her self just a little; only enough so she could properly see his face. "There." She whispered, somewhere in the back of her mind ashamed at how weak her voice was. But that was absolute rubbish right now. She didn't care. Simply. She simply didn't care.

Damian really had been surprised when Anna had suddenly kissed him like that. Technically, he half-expected it since he had goaded her into it, but it was still half-unexpected.
The kiss was amazing. While it wasn't the first kiss, considering that the first had been mistletoe-induced, this kiss was far better. He was actually disappointed when Anna withdrew a few seconds later.
"I'm sorry, but I missed that. Can you show me where again?" he said, smiling a genuine smile.

Anna rolled her eyes. In the back of her mind, she knew she should be miffed, but she found, yet again, that she couldn't quite bring herself to be angry with him. It was, after all, quite the enjoyable experience. At least for her. Though, judging by the look on his face, he looked like her father when she came after summer hols and made him a cake, as was her tradition, which was saying something; he looked generally pleased.
In other words, he looked to be in heaven.
Now just a tad more confident, she, smiling wryly, cockily, and somewhat shyly all at once, looked into his eyes, noting that she still hadn't fully reversed herself into normal proximity from him. Her face was still very, very close to his. .... Though it would be closer in about six seconds.
"You're just helpless, aren't you?" She inquired rhetorically, not expecting an answer, and, frankly, not wanting one. For that would mean he would have to stop kissing her. And that was something we couldn't have. So, just then, Anna placed her lips on his, though very chastely. Because she felt she had to add one more thing. So, pulling back once more, she told him softly, "I won't show you where again." Though she put her lips on his immediately after the words left her mouth.
But, hell, she was Anna.

Damian really was in heaven now. The girl that he had a crush on for so long, his best friend, was kissing him. How could it get any better than that?
He savored every second of it, not wanting it to end. He even felt a bit bitter when she pulled back.
He wrapped his arms areound her, not in the perverted way, but in a sort of hugging way. He returned her kisses with just as much passion as she delivered them.
The whole thing was leaving him almost breathless. ((Sorry, but I gots to go for now.))
