::The tall Orinian blinks his crimson orbs a few times, arching one eyebrow as he follows Jade's movements. He's following her ki signature with his mind and her body with his sight, doing a decent job of keeping track of where she's headed. He sees her walk out of the food shop, a few people dining along the walls of the place on benches and such. Now behind her, Deity stands up completely, his tail wagging slowly for no apparent reason as he moves toward the curved corner of the building. He is confused for only second as to why she would interrupt herself mid-search to eat. But then it hits him, and he giggles softly to himself.::

...oh....Saiya-jin, right.....hm?

::Deity's body instinctively bursts into movement, and he spins around, swinging his right arm out as he does. In an instant he has grabbed onto someone's arm, their over-sized hand hardly an inch away from where his shoulder just was. Who stands here now is some monstrous creature, the owner of the pub Deity is standing on. If one didn't know any better, he looks like a buffalo. Or a pig. Or both; Deity honestly doesn't know, and isn't bold enough to speak his mind on the matter. His fingers - nails colored black, though not very long at the moment - barely reach halfway around the huge hairy arm of this hefty fellow, who's standing over nine feet tall. He wears a dirty white muscle shirt and apron, thick black jeans, and no shoes. His giant hooves work well enough. With a booming, gruff voice, he speaks to the much smaller Deity.::

What're you doin' up 'ere, lil' dude?

...uhmm...just, uhh...enjoying the view...?

Could you enjoy it someplace else? A lil' kid like you'll attract the weirdos, and I dun' want any dead wimps up here in the mornin'.

....w-wimp...?
...of course, sir. Sorry to disturb you...

::Deity apparently took offense to be called a wimp, but he kept it to himself. He gets a lot of that these days, being smaller than a good deal of the non-humanoid characters around here. Sighing softly at the interruption, he turns around and hops off of the ledge without warning, stopping in mid-air about four feet above the tallest person on his side of the road. The burly owner of the bar shouts for a moment, rushing to the edge of the rooftop with the assumption that Deity could hurt himself.::

No, dude...!! ....?

::His voice is rather loud, attracting the attention of everyone around, who all blink in surprise at the sight of a wingless boy floating in the air. The giant oxlike man now peers over the edge to see Deity looking up at him with a curious, expectant look, obviously wondering what the problem is. Okay, so he can fly. The owner blinks a few times at the sight, then shakes his hand and waves Deity off, chuckling to himself and muttering something about how wild kids are in this day and age. As he clomps his way back to the staircase, Deity looks down to realize a few hundred people are now staring at him.

He just stares back for a few moments, his mind wrapping around and trying to find the best solution to escape the awkward situation. He looks stupefied for a few seconds. Only then does it occur to him that Jade can probably see him, and probably has already seen him. He looks up to where he last noticed her, suddenly quite anxious.::

Jade's mouth hung open slightly, the roll she was about to take another bite out of sitting just in front of her mouth, barely held in her grasp. Her green eyes were wide as she kept them locked onto Deity, whom had just about appeared out of nowhere.

The shout had attracted her attention, instinct telling her to be prepared for anything and to defend. But she hadn't been expecting Deity. Instantly she started running on the ground towards him, not ready to take to flying unless she had to. Which she probably would. No doubt Deity had spotted her, and since he hadn't come looking for her, it meant he was probably avoiding her.

Jade quickly shoved the food she had bought into her bag, keeping her eyes up and locked on Deity as she tried to manuver through the crowd.

"Deity!"

She couldn't stop herself from shouting out to him, no doubt attracting attention to her now. But she didn't care at the moment, she had finally found him.

((*stays cowering with Kaen, pulls out a camera and takes pictures of Deity being whipped* Blackmail! whee ))

((*notices Kaen-san is gone and decides there is no need to cower and stares kinda blankly at Ichi and Deity* o O;;

*misses Kaen-san already* ))

"Oh no you don't!"

Jade didn't care now and jumped up, using a slow moving pod as a spring board to launch herself into the air after Deity. She didn't even turn around to look at the shocked and angry driver before he was out of sight. She narrowed her eyes, the Seinorei flat on her back adn her bag at her side as she flew as fast as she could, trying to stay on Deity's trail.

It was obvious now that he was trying to avoid her, but she wasn't going to let him get away, not this time. She put on a burst of speed, her long scarf flapping wildly behind her as she tried her best to keep Deity in sight. Jade followed his path as best she could, sometimes going around other sides of buildings to try and catch up, focusing on his low ki signature and his scent on the air.

Don't run from me Deity....
