::In the center of a circular area of roadway acting as an enclosed boundary around the area is a very large circular building, similar to the infamous Club Orion Tower in shape. It covers an area of just over two acres, and is over eight hundred feet high. It's a slick black in color, highly reflective from close range, with one-way circular windows dotting the sides in periodical levels; the rooftop is a hemispherical dome, looking more like the windows than the metal-like structure of the rest of the building.

The entrance at the front has a small blue canopy over it, people occasionally moving in and out of the building. There are four signs just above the door and lining the edges of the canopy, black in color with colored text scrolling sideways across them. Three of them have only alien languages appearing on the boards, which even Deity wouldn't understand. These are a few of the languages most used in this country. However, the fourth scrolling sign has English across it, though most wouldn't call it that. There's no England on Orion, so it wouldn't be called English.

In any case, according to the text this huge building is a grand hotel of sorts, for use only by the most wealthy of visitors. The numerous vehicular pods of the city whirl and buzz their way onto and off of the streets around the hotel, cylindrical transparent tunnels weaving around it several hundred feet above sea level, as more pod cars fly through them. That's the equivalent to a highway.

Back on the ground, two new figures walk out of the hotel; the first is a pretty young girl, who's dragging out a tall boy with a wolfen tail by his right hand. He has a new set of clothes on, but that's definately Deity. His hat, glasses, and headband are the same of course. The girl looks no older than eighteen, standing just a few inches shorter than Deity at 6'2". She's wearing blue boots with zippers up the outer sides, black stockings and a dark blue jean skirt. A blue tank top - just a size or two too big for her - with a black sweater underneath finishes off the rest of her outfit, along with a black collar and a nosering.

Her hair is a blindingly bright blonde with sapphire streaks through it, similarly blue eyes framed delicatedly by her pale face and pointed ears. Her form is very slender, her curves not especially prominent, matching her small bust and accenting the length of her legs. Of course, her exquisite form is somewhat offset by a casual posture and the constant motion of her jaw as she chews on some bubblegum. She looks to be an elf, and thus probably not a Tonepian native. Once both she and Deity have walked out from underneath the marquee, she smiles at him, squeezing her hands gently around his right, eyeing the black sketchbook in his left hands grasp. Upon releasing him, she takes a step back and towards the sidewalk, nodding away from him as she turnss to leave.::

Good seein' you again, huh? Call me again if ya' need me.
....of course. Thank you...

::Smiling broadly and starting again to chew the gum that sat idly in her mouth for that brief moment, the elvish young lady turns and jogs over past the narrow open area outside the hotel to the sidewalk, flagging down a cab by waving her left arm about. Turning away from her as she departs, Deity tilts his haad back to look at the sky, the three moons beginning to rise up on the eastern horizon of the sky, which slowly changes from dark blue to gold as one's sight moves west. In the center of the city, it's hard to see anything but the greatest of the visible moons, Jiet.

Sighing softly to himself, Deity opens the side of his red leather jacket, slipping his sketchbook inside a large pocket situated there, returning both hands to his pants pockets and glancing around. Not much to do, though he did just make some money. That may be useful for a meal later on. It's then that his ears perk up, and he turns his head toward the east, his crimson eyes narrowing. A familar ki. Closing his eyes, he breathes in slowly through his nose, trying to focus more. A second or so passes again before he concludes who it is. Jade again. She must've seen him come here, so she moved her search this way into the Capital.::

....better to have her search here than freeze to death in the mountains...

::Shaking his head and reopening his red eyes, Deity looks around once more, deciding what to do now. Perhaps he should see what the girl is up to, rather than just plainly avoid her. It could be mere coincidence that she is here, though he doubts it. He must find out for sure, though. Without another thought, he bows his head down and is gone, much to the surprise of a few passersby. At that moment, he's situated atop a small building on the same block that Jade is located. Thankfully it has a flat rooftop and an uprising ledge, so he can hide. Quickly dropping down onto his knees, he moves a little closer, lifting his left hand up to pull his hat down tighter. Taking it off would make his hair stick out like a sore thumb.

With both gloved hands on the smooth alloy ledge now, he peeks over and across the street at the sidewalk swarming with pedestrians. It takes a moment, but he finds Jade again, the poor Saiya-jin girl looking like she hasn't slept in days. She looks tiny in that mob. Hoping the shadows of the darkening sky will make up for the small amount of his head that can be seen from the ground two dozen or so feet below, Deity seems preoccupied observing Jade's movements. So preoccupied, that is, that he doesn't appear to notice the sounds of movement behind him. A stairway of this building leads to the rooftop via an employee-only door, and someone is coming up the stairs, for whatever reason. The red-headed demon really shouldn't be up here.::

(( @Jade-chan: As of late? Mostly his Ki thing. The freaking novel he's writing on the who/what/where/when/how/why's of Ki. I'm glad he's not writing about something I don't give a damn about, I might really have to kill him. biggrin He also gives me in-depth summaries of the inner hierarchy of the Club Orion members, and their goings-on. I'm like the madam of a geisha house: I know everything.

And he usually nags about coming down here more often, really. sweatdrop His favorite thing to say is "Everyone misses you!" in an attempt to guilt trip me. Thanks so much, Niichan. ;p ))

Jade sighed, stepping slighlty out of the bustling crowd to stop and stand still for a moment. She had only just arrived, and yet she was already feeling the frustration. Finding Deity in a huge, busy city like this was going to be like findng a needle in a haystack. The poor girl didn't even know where to begin.

She felt a prickling on the back of her neck, instincts telling her that someone was watching her, somewhere. SHe started to look around more, glancing up at the buildings around her, but not long enough to notice anything out of the ordinary. Her instincts weren't telling her if it was a good watcher or not, so she stepped into the crowd again, almost immediately lost to sight since she was so short. But she managed to get through, spotting a small shop that looked almost like a restraunt just a bit down the block.

She headed for it, stepping inside with her black hair streaming behind her. Jade glanced around for a bit before picking out a few things to munch on, having a rather decent amount in her bag still from when she was rationing in the mountains. She had gotten more used to the planet in her time here, using the card Angel had given her to pay for her things with the almost ancient looking demon owner, having trouble telling his greying hair from his beard. She thanked him kindly and made a quick exit from the shop again, staying just out of hte main flow of the pedestrians on the sidewalks.

Where am I going to start....?

Jade sighed a little, pulling out what looked like a roll and munching on it in silence, her tail curled up around her waist and Seinorei wrapped up across her back.
