Hitomi watched as her vision swam. Dammit... I guess I went over the mark... Hitomi opened her eyes, looking up at the sky. "Damn... I guess I'm not quite that good at it... It seems to get harder the farther down you're drained.... Let's make it a point never to get that low on chakra." She rolled over and got up. Well, let's go see what's up with everyone else, shall we? We've got some busy times ahead of us... "Come on, Kon. Let's go check the village out. It's been a while since we've just walked through without something happening. It'll be nice..."

Board after board was laid down and nailed into place as the seconds, minutes, and hours went by... More than halfway done, she was more looking forward to sleep than an ice cream cone... She hadn't slipped up in a while... that was good... she had enough burns and bruises as it was... She should be well prepared for the Chunin exams... After all, she was much further ahead than her older twin brother... She wondered if he'd found himself a sensei yet... She hoped he would... it was no fun beating someone who was obviously weaker... No offense to him and all that... She jsut couldn't help it... After all, it wasn't her fault she was getting far ahead of him in skill... She'd even learned an extra clan jutsu compared to him!

Wiping the sweat from her forehead, she quickly glanced back down to where her sensei should have been sitting... but he was no longer there. Guess I scared him off eh? Figures... A guy like that could never deal with a person like me... She debated on stopping where she was... as there was not much of a point to the mission if her sensei was no longer there, but decided that it would be better to just do her work all the way and collect the reward for it... So she continued her careful work, nailing in the boards, replacing the tin... all the fun stuff a young genin was supposed to do... She did also hope that the guy who owned the place liked her work... cuz she wasn't going to settle for some cheap rip off payment either.

She held nails between her lip and she climbed up and down the ladder, retrieving more wood pannels to nail in palce... the roof was almost completely finished... a job single handedly done by herself... It was something to be proud of, right? Soaking in a pool of pride, she tripped over her hammer and landed face first onto the new portion of the roof she'd build, hand smacking into more hot metal... Flinching abck... she examined the damage before continuing on... She would have to bandage herself up soon, before she blistered and all that gross stuff. First off, she have to finish nailing in the board she gotten started on... then she would take her little first aid break...

Jumping back down, she gathered up some medical supplies, just the bandages and ointment, lathered it on, and wrapped herself up... a simple process though it took several minutes... wrapping a bandage with one hand and one's teeth was more difficult that it looked, funnily enough. Eventually she got it though... hoping her burns wouldn't puss up and all that... She got back to her nailing and pallening, hammering in one nail after the other, making sure each board was straight and perfect. Just one small area to go... and she would finally be finished with this ridiculous request. That scrooge, or so sensei had called the weasily old man, would have any reason to deduct from her pay...

As her time passes, the area needing to be rebuild became smaller and smaller... it was lovely... Of course it didnt help that she kept getting burned... Her nerve control was getting a bit weaker too, so she was starting to feel the burn of her new wounds... She knew it would be worse though if she hadn't put any medicine on it... though it would be better if it had been treated immediately, rather than letting them get irritated with the continuous working. She didn't let it get to her too much though... Having a job to finish kept her mind off of it, she couldn't afford to slip up now... She was almost done nailing in the pannels and covering them with the tin roofing... Just a bit more... and it would all be over! Oh happy days!

At long last, the time had come. The time had come for her to finally finish her mission:fixing the roof! The seconds before her triumph ticked by as she nailed in her last board and sealed the remaining tin to the roof... Finally... she was DONE! FINISHED! A smile spread across her face she she wiped the remaining sweat from her brow... sure she'd gained a few more burns and bruises, but she was working in an ever decreasing area... making perfection a bit cramped. She did well enough though. Now was the time to collect her pay and go home. Yes, home... home sounded like such a sweet word to her now... Packing up the left over materials, she slipped down the ladder and put everything away, then going to where the little old man was, she collected her reward and headed out...

Giglamesh would come walking in the the canyon walking a quite distrought and fast paced walk, he would go that deep in before stopping close to the canyon wall to his left side. "....It was my fault.........i didnt stop it before it hit......i thought it would interfere with the exams.....i miscalculated.............due to that she.....she........GOD DAMMIT!!!!" Giglamesh swung his left arm at the canyons wall and instantly fissures and cracks went all threw it clear up the the walls top and a good distance in every directions before it would begin to crumble falling to the ground around him. Many big peices fell but he didnt move in the slightest, the force from the blow diverted them as the cracks caused faults makeing them fall away from when he had strucken the wall.
He was obviosuly strong, but more than that he was incredible distraught, he caused a young girl to lose his arms because he didnt act, he stood there like in his past watching doing nothing but bein g hopless not being able to protect any body, many belive she may not of been important to him but she was his student and for that he would place his life before theres......but with he it was even more...yet he didnt act at all.

Rai had been making his way thru the canyon when he heard it, a loud crashing sound. He would kind of duck down low to the ground in caution. For all he knew, there could have been a battle going on. He was atop of a canyon wall in virtually no time at all. He had found an incline that took him straight to the top. Stealthy as he could be, he thought he had no need for any jutsu to conceal himself.
He approached the area where he could just barely see something. He would stay low and sort of squint at the man that was standing down there. But he couldn't make out who it was exactly. So throwing caution to the wind he would try to crawl along the top ledge of the canyon. As he got closer he accidentally make some rocks fall and he closed his eyes tightly. "s**t...."

He would give off a sigh of relief as the small rocks that he had made fall hadn't startled the man. He would leave his head down slightly and notice that it was Giglamesh-sensei, since he had gotten a little closer. He would give a slight look of confusion. But then after a moment he would form a seal to focus his chakra to the bottoms of his feet. Then one foot would stick to the side of the wall. Then he would slowly make it so that the other one stuck there as well.
Then he would walk down the wall towards his sensei and speak up. "What are you doing out here Sensei, and what was with the violence to the wall..?" He was about five feet off the ground when he decided to just leap down and land flat footed about five or six feet away from Gig. His intuition told him that there was something wrong with his sensei. But he would wait to say anything until he would be told what was wrong. He had came out here to train, but if he needed to talk to his teacher before hand, he would. Who knows, it might even get him some aid in his training.

Due to his mood he would of moved out reaching his right hand directly for rai' throat, but it wassent his fault and giglamesh would instead pass him as if walking to the edge of the river, all rai would of seen was gig disapear and reappear behidne him close to the rivers edge he was keeping his back turned to rai. "Me?....enjoying the scenery i guess......why were you trying to sneak up on me from a distance." giglamesh would point up to his ear, his eye werent sharp, actualy pretty dull, but here ears where as sharp as his blades.

He would turn his head as his sensei appeared behind him. Was this raw speed, or was it some sort of jutsu? Illusionary to play with him perhaps? He had no clue, nor did he plan to play the question game to find out. "They are skills I learned under your guidance. I was practicing them, could be called training, Sensei." He would turn to him, looking out at the scenery himself. Kind of nodding. "I need to train if im going to obtain my goals. When I noticed you out here, I was hoping I could get a little help.. But if you are busy...." He would just pause, awaiting a response. If he wanted Rai to go about his business, he would do so.

"Oh?" giglamesh would think of the boys words, which he had made indirectly but made perferctly clear he wanted to train and if thats what he wanted than by all means he would give it to him. "So...you seek power....strength hunh?...........than allow me to give it to you." Giglamesh would slide his hands seemingly to his rear only towave his hand opeing his jacket further. A breeze would blo causeing his white trench like coat to flap in the wind the black skull with the manji centered in the sakull flowed in the wind like a jolley rodger, as it did giglamesh slowly drew out his extremly dark red sakbatou katana's .

Seeing this, Rai would get a devious grin on his face. Even knowing full well that the man that was drawing his blades was a chuunin, Rai got excited. It wasn't clear if he was brave, crazy, ignorant, or what. But he was getting a rush at the feeling of the mans chakra. He may not have even got a chance to attack, but he was damn sure ready to give it his best shot.
"This.. strength you have, I want it.. Sensei." He would reach a hand into his holding back, reaching past the scrolls. He would pull out two kunai. Holding one of them with the blade face up and one of them face down. He would get into a slightly kneeled stance, knees bent. It was like in his head he thought he would actually be a formidable opponent for his sensei. His grin would grow, not really subsiding one bit.

The boy seemed to be abattle manic like giglamesh, which ment he proably enjoy his assbeating as he knew hed get stronger from it. Giglamesh would also grin both seemed to know he would easily kill him jet he smiled giglamesh enjoyed this boy more so than he first belived, after what was going threw his head some violence might aid him. "...Now that youve drawn your weapon...are you willing to use it?" giglamesh would turn around witha extremly serious look on his face he woul flip the katana in his right hand so it was faceing upwards in hand leaving the one in his left hand faceing downwards. "Weapons arnt for threats...there for actions. Are you willing to risk your life?"

Giglamesh would instantly disapear appearing point blank in his face his left foot foreward right arm backhe would slash the blade much like a bat directly at the grinning mouth of rai. It would feel like he hit full forcewhere he hit and it should have enough force to send him back flying a good distance in to the wall of the canyon which giglamesh had damaged that area of earlier. "It might not feel like it boy.....but thats with chakra severely reducing my power....even with sumashu hashi a blade that cannot kill you head would of been removed by the force alone...........but know something.....your getting a fight....but its not even at ten percent." Giglamesh would grin severly looking a the boy as he spoke.
